  • Might I suggest you putting a wide body APR GT 300 kit on that thing. It might cost you around $3500 but it would get more head turning attention than any other car. Celica fans should check out the "Toyota Celica GTS Movie". The car in this vid has the wide body kit. I think you'll like what you see.

  • @DiabloFitch85 While I do admit that kit does look rather good, I'm not sure I'm ready for the fast depreciation after adding such a kit & this exact model is already rare enough in its condition...the other thing is, I live in a place that is ridiculously over-policed & I'm trying to avoid drawing any more attention to myself (especially with my driving style). Seriously, we have 6 police departments for 1 small city! Less attention the better, especially after the last $670 fine

  • nevermind sorry i read the description, theres one near me im debating. thanks a lot for this vid man

  • whats the hp one of these?

  • i like the way you have the sub integrated with the side of the trunk how much did that cost you or did it come already when u got it ?

  • @ajzile Bought the car like that. The original owner who put it in said he spent over $5000 on the system, so after the cost for the deck, amp, sub, wiring, and speakers, it was probably a few hundred to get that done...

  • 86k rpm? of course you'll hurt the stock motor. You can achieve that goal with a stand alone ecu,PFC with engine mods.

  • @chlee09 The engine is designed for more than 86k, the same engine was in the 2004 model and stopped at 86k, Toyota for some reason decided the '05 model should be electronically limited to 78k...

  • @TrunkMonkey283, No you cannot take a stock motor that high. You'll hit the rev limiter at 83500. I own a 2002 1zz-fe GT 5spd and I have done the GTS 6spd swap. Also known as 2zz-ge C60. No stock 2zz-ge will ever hit 86k. You'll hit the rev limiter like I said or blow your motor trying to go pass it. 2003 to 2005 came with DBW which you can do a tb swap. Also at 83500 you'll lose power so theres no point on going that high anyway.

  • @chlee09 While I will say this doesn't clearly state it'll reach 8600, u can wiki "2zz-ge" for this bit: The Toyota PCM electronically limits RPM to about 8200 RPM via fuel and/or spark cut. The "lift" engagement and the engine redline vary by application. Lotus 2ZZ-GEs are rev limited to 8500 RPM, for example, whereas Celicas were rev limited to 7900 to 8200 RPM in North America, depending on the model year. The first Japanese versions were rev limited to 8600 rpm with a peak of 190 hp

  • Looks nieces yo r they 6 speed

  • @Aaron509213 Read the description...

  • I have the same car as you except mines is a gt and its an 04 edition boring automatic if you want check it out and what i've done to it so far just add me on facebook the name is John Adeyeye my profile pic is of my celica which looks just like yours you will see my hood and doors and trunk open.

  • @PoloStylist An '04 Gt Automatic is not the same car....not even close

  • @TrunkMonkey283 it is the same car however the engines different I know you have 180hp stock and if its not stick then you have tip-tronic but as far as the color and the tsunami package i have the same. I was looking at gts engines and tranny I Was thinking about converting

  • @PoloStylist It is a 6-speed manual, so none of that tiptronic crap...anyways, you should convert, definitely worth it...or if you've got the money, might I suggest the up-coming GT-86 (although if you're in North America like me it'll come out as a Scion....*sigh) or Subaru BRZ. I'm waiting out for a turbo version myself...(come on STI Turbo!)

  • @TrunkMonkey283 lol yeah I definitely been thinking bout that but all i have is about 7000 dollars saved up for this swap i want to do but i may definitely look in to o that gt-86 which I have been waiting for.

  • If you get a new flywheel it will make it about 8500 i think.

  • @Maxxstaa, lol no adding a flywheel will not do that

  • Chrome exhaust are stock or after-market?

  • @IwantaLexusLFA Stock.

  • @IwantaLexusLFA , its a plastic tip hiding the stock exhaust

  • Hey i have the same excact one can you please take a video of the bottom of you shifting the gears PLEASE! Mine is messed up and i really need some help

  • the S looks like an after thought

  • sweeeeeet car man...

  • hey mines looked exactly like that minus the stereo system when i first purchased it and i'm also located in victoria, bc....i guess i haven't seen u around yet.

  • @mrcelicagts1 Really? Odd, I've seen one that looks exactly like mine, but it's only the GT model, I've seen a white one which I think is a GT-S Tsunami, and then there's a red one, but its an '04 GT I believe...I don't drive mine much or far, hence the low km's and why you probably haven't seen it.

  • well done man, im planning to get a celica within a month or two

  • is it a 4 or 5 passenger car?.. can't remember...

  • @boobs2323 It only has seat-belts for 4 people, but that doesn't mean I haven't squished 3 thin people into the back before...

  • i really like the body kit but if you can get rid of the chrome headlights it'll make the car look better. look up how to open up light housings and painting em. i like the interior too btw

  • @butterfaceee Thanks, I've been debating as to whether or not make any modifications to the car other than the stereo and possibly fiddling with the rev limit, just sorta feels like if you start changing the exterior of the car, you can't just stop at one thing. Anyways, I don't mind how they look right now, but I may change my mind down the road...
