He simply angled where he was looking at the floor so that it would provide him the necessary boost without killing him.

The grenade flying "straight" is only because he is firing at an upward arc as he is falling down. The physics engine creates that trajectory. >.>

I'm assuming you mean the lasermines at the Gonarch. If you look carefully they're just beside him.

Demo recording bug. Back in the day demo files didn't load ammo amounts when they started however when they were changed and needed to be updated it would show the correct value. Makes sense right? Why when playing the real game should it load up ammo amounts on load when they were there from the last map.

Having it in demo form makes it absurdly easy to check for cheats, and if the site he linked is still hosting it that would seem to be a point in his favor. I think the more reasonable explanation is that you have no idea about how HL movement works and believe everyone else to be in the same situation.

That being said; the video is impressive, I liked all the ramp slides and ridiculously accurate bhops. It seemed like that took awhile to get down so clean.

if it was programmed then SOMEONE had to know exactly when to press which keys and when to shoot, and that SOMEONE must have to have done it himself. Also, if one TINY thing goes wrong, if the reload didnt finish before switching weapons, or if one tiny jump fails, then the whole segment is screwed up. There is no bot that can be "programmed" to speed run
