I take it you are in a well serviced area that's been properly upgraded with fiber or something? Not some crappy unadopted road with old twisted copper like me? Best speed I can get is 5 Gig, on a good day.

@10000Monkeys It's a standard BT phone line, using normal copper cables and not any optical fibre or anything special.

bits and bytes! isp explain there internet in bits and when you download it explain in bytes so 8mbits=1mbyte.

ive got talktalk broadband (pro) and im suppost to be getting 4 mb and i only get between 2 and 3mb download :( but the upload is ok, usually between 0.6 and 0.7mb

i only get 2mb max and i live close to the exchange terrible company full of broken promises and now ive got static on my line.

staff are very poor and unhelpful too.

No, the video isn't fake and I don't work for BE. I am a customer of Be and have been since January 2009, and am very happy with the service I receive.

@JARVISHELLRAISER The ping level shows that this is real, but it also shows that you have a very good clean connection to your local exchange, Of course location is a big factor, I live in the country and have 80mbytes per second down and 83 mbps up, its great BUT, cost us £1000 to get a private fibre line to our house, suing Bt Bussiness (£60 per month) mega bussiness use! Other people near us get 87kbps (down) if they are lucky!

yer i gonna move to bethere asap. bt cut ma speed from 5mb (wen it sposed to be 8mb) to1mb cosi was dling too much. fucking bs. just wondering i need 2 wait till this contract with bt runs out or not? ty. i will also put a speedtest both of my old isp that i made a vid of 1min ago and my one ill get with bethere. they say probably 16mbs are they acurate with these estimates. plz reply

As this video is a bit old im sure you are aware that you lose about 1 or 2 meg from your download speed if you take upload plus, but sure at that speeds you neddent worry. I have o2 broadband which is the same as bes and its great i onyl get 10meg though, out of 20meg, exchange distance.

damn I pay for 8mb did the test and I get less then 1mb!! I checked agen a few times and I get 2mb on a good day!
