Toby, you noddle, use a safe and piggy-bank as portable storagification. Yes, you can harvest them with items still inside them so they act like 'backpacks'. I know your not going to read this after I've tried so many times, but I hope you'll figure it out and that you'll be able to afford a safe sometime soon :)

And you should store all but one voodoo doll in your chests to save inventory space because you'll probably want to visit nurse after versing the fleshy wall of murder death each time.
