  • I do believe you are quite confused. You see, Twatlight is fundamentally a story about romance, with plots stolen from Jane Austen and Shakespeare. It is also a book meant for preteens, and young teenage girls. Legacy of Kain is a story about REVENGE, REDEMPTION, and the idea that we choose our own fate.

  • @dionkar336 You're saying there is no Revenge in Twilight? When Victoria gets mensey when Edwards kills her "mate", in the first movie, after he tries to hunt down and play with Bella, in her home town?

That's pure revenge. She is later killed by Edward on the mountain, also because she was after revenge.

Victoria even had her own private fledgeling vampire army to kill Edward and Bella. Just like Vorador had his private fledgling vampires including Uma, hidding in Meridian.

  • @Victissive

Good lord Twatlighter, READ! I never said there wasn't any revenge in Twilight, I said it is FUNDAMENTALLY A LOVE STORY. There is revenge, just like there is Revenge in Romeo and Juliet, where the second books plot was stolen from

  • @dionkar336 Why would Twilight be a love story? That's nonsense. IT's a Horror Story, with Drama overtones, Moralism, Christianity (vampires are cursed by God), and Mystery and Mystical.

It's the same as Legacy of Kain, series. What difference is there? Was Ariel not in love with Nupraptor when she was killed? Did Nupraptor not go insane when Ariel was assassinated by the Unspoken?

  • @Victissive

No, Twilight is a love story. A bad love story, with its plot ripped from Jane Austen novels and Shakespeare.

  • @dionkar336 What makes you think Twilight is a "love story"?

You're confusing with British novels. Love stories are very different, involve two morons by the beach, and other such english Clichees.

Twilight has absolutely none of that. It's not a love story, it's a Legacy of Kain story.

  • @Victissive

Twilight is about a weird girl who claims she doesn't fit in, but everyone actually likes her, and she is fatally attracted to an undead monkey who eventually has rough sex with her, impregnates her, and turns her to his immortal bride, so they can share their love forever. Its a cheesy love story for frivolous minded girls.

  • @dionkar336 I've never read any twilight books, just saw the first two movies. I don't know anything about "breaking dawn" yet? I don't even know if it's the third or fourth movie.

I never got to any sex parts, in it.

But compared to Legacy of Kain, where already in Blood Omen 2, Kain was being ruffed up by Uma, and planned to make her the Queen of Nosgoth, I'd say Legacy of Kain is definately the Love Story in this.

"Betrayal !! Uma you Fool !! You should have trusted me !!!"

  • @dionkar336 As for Redemption, it's the same. Plenty of redemption in Twilight. All the vegeterian vampires with yellow eyes (just like Janos or Vorador or Kain), are angsty and regret having to take human life and drink their blood, and prey upon them. So they find alternatives, to "redeem" themselves.

Like Edward fed on animals, or that crazy Civil War vampire, Casper or something, tries to keep it's inner "Beast" in check, so they don't become overwhelmed with blood lust.

  • @dionkar336 Chosing your own fate ,.... is just "an idea". Again, Idealism, and most specifically Romantic Idealism, is the core of the Legacy of Kain series, plotline and story.

Also Raziel is mostly naked most of the time. So is Kain, shirtless. Raziel doesn't even have pants on most of the times.

Only Janos is half dressed, chest still nude and visible with a thin cloth or half shirt on. And Vorador who is the most dressed of all. Just like the "Volturi", Vorador is designed.

  • @Victissive

Except LoK came out way before Twilight. So...... Plagiarism by Meyers? probably.

In any case, Raziel is essentially a skeleton. Nothing to reveal there. And Kain, like many men here and in Europe, chooses to go shirtless because he is ripped.

  • @dionkar336 Exactly. Meyers could have taken everything from Legacy of Kain, as First Inspiration.

That's what I said in the first place, READ !

  • @dionkar336 You mean it's a homosexual thing? Shirtless Showoffery?

You're saying Kain is meant to attract gays? No wonder those idiot fanwhores created so much Yaoi.

That is just disgusting what you're saying. Janos already is showing too much blue skin for comfort. Vorador is the proper amount of dressed for this series.

Vorador is extremely buff and powerful as well. But he doesn't run around shirtless like Kain or Raziel. He wears heavy armour, like the Vampire Patriarch .

  • @Victissive

I am not saying that at all. I am saying your experience with other styles of dressing are severely limited. In Europe, Men walk around shirtless all the time in warm weather. Its because there is less shame in the human form there.

  • @dionkar336 That's true, peasants walk about shirtless all the time.

So it's a peasant style, or "pagan ritual".

But Kain and Raziel aren't pagans, are they? Why are they acting like peasants then? Running around underdressed like Jacob in Twilight?

  • @Victissive

Hardly peasants. Plenty of people do, from rich land owners to the poor. Its just how they are raised, no shame in the human form. Its why there are nude beaches and such. Quit insulting cultures you know nothing about.

  • @dionkar336 Nudists are subhuman trash. They don't deserve to be called "cultured". They're just naturalist hippies, who can't afford proper clothage.

Don't justify it by "culture". Animals have no culture, and they're just as nude.

  • @dionkar336 Legacy of Kain, and Twilight have so much in common, they're practically twins.

Also Bella choses her fate, by not going Zoophile and mating Jacob the Wereulf. And by chosing Edward Scissorhands instead, to become a vampire.

She too, became a vampire, like Raziel, when he is sired by Kain, his own "child".

  • @Victissive

Except she chose her hate, Raziel was forced into Vampirism.

  • @dionkar336 No. Raziel was not forced into Vampirism. He chose it. His hate drove him to Janos's hideout, the mountain retreat, to paralyse Janos using Moebius's vampire Staff.

Then Raziel (the Sarafan and human priest warrior) rips Janos's heart out from his chest. This Heart of Darkness is later used by Mortanius to create Kain, by reviving him a vampire, using necromancy.

Raziel's removal of Janos's Heart of Darkness is the only reason Kain is now a vampire.

  • @dionkar336 Raziel is his own reason for becoming a Vampire. Kain was able to revive Raziel the Sarafan Champion, as his first lieutenant, because Raziel was the one who first allowed Kain to become a vampire.

Kain was returning the favour of Vampirism, since Raziel alone was the one who allowed the Heart of Darkness to fall into the Circle's hands, and Mortanius to ressurect Kain as a vampire.

  • I love the bit where the Elder God's theme starts... its like WAAAAAAAARGH HE'S HERE TOO!!! :D

  • U still dont get it .... LoK is not for READ !!!!

It is for playing only !!! now u play LoK and read some Twilight ... Shoud be over 100% DIFRENT get it AMG

  • @VesnaiGoca Then quote Twilight. And you shall see the striking resemblences.

    And you will cry, then.

  • @Soveraine Even if it's plagiarised, it's whole different story. You can't compare deranged teenage love to LoK.

    Deluded. Sad. Or master troll.

  • @dangezzz Why else would Vorador try to save Umah? Kain even sought to make her the queen. Definately not because of some romantic love interest, NOOOOOOOO. Definately not exactly what happens in Twilight. .... Hahahhhahaa

Except it is. Identical. Just changed names, hahahaha.

If it was not love that Kain chased Raziel, and Raziel stalked Kain, and they jealously fought "over the Heart of Janos Audron", then what was it? Hate of decent clothing that would leave their flesh unexposed?

  • @dangezzz "Unearth your destiny, Raziel. It's all laid out for you here." "You said it yourself, Kain - there are only two sides to your coin."

"I didn't know what impulse stayed my hand, why I had so willingly allowed Kain to escape me when I had pursued him for so long. I had no reason to trust Kain, after he had valued me so little, and yet, I found myself intrigued by his words."

So if not out of LOVE and divine mercy, why would Raziel spare Kain .... ? Romantic Idealism ?

  • @Soveraine

How about curiosity? Maybe uncertainty that killing Kain was the right choice? This theme is later expanded on when Raziel realizes many people are pushing him to kill Kain.

  • @dangezzz

"I had been too cruelly used to so gullibly play his pawn, but if this world truly had secrets to divulge, I was determined to expose them."

"From the moment of my arrival I had the constant and palpable sensation of being watched." (Just like Bella when she sleeps and Edward Cullen is stalking her).

"Someone, it seemed, was keenly interested in my presence here." Just like Edward was overwhelmed by Bella's beautiful scent and wanted to drink her blood.

    Ring any bells?

  • @Soveraine

Not at all actually. You are just trying to get random snippets of dialogue to fit in with your goofy Twilight Vampire romantic fantasy. You take the lines out of context of the whole series. Look at the big picture, nothing like Twatlight.

  • @dionkar336 I am not saying Legacy of Kain is the same as Twilight. I'm saying Legacy of Kain, is in general a very Romanticist / Renaissance form of art.

Think chivalry and other idealistic nonsense of medieval to late medieval Illuminism. All of these "defy the Tyrannous Stars" are Illuminism tennants and Freemason laws.

They have this really outdated sense of /Nobility/. Pickled with many subtle romantic interests, such as Raziel and Kain "fighting for Janos's Heart".

  • @Victissive

Right, if you are talking in that sense, then yes it is. I was referring to romance as in the modern definition of having to do with love and all that.

  • @dionkar336 But love and all that are hidden in plain sight, in Legacy of Kain. Like Raziel and Kain "fighting over the hearf of Janos", but not in a romantic love way, just in a dramatic epic storyline way.

Essentially the subtext is pretty scary. And it's that subtext that imprints itself first into the minds of Legacy of Kain fans, sadly.

  • @dionkar336 Anything that Twilight has, that all of you here consider "lame", Raziel has it too.

Raziel and Janos, and other "noble vampires" who also have yellow eyes, because they're "vegetarians", refuse to feed on human blood, and prey on them. The evil vampires who are "predators" have red eyes, just like the Twilight vampires.

It's possible Stephanie Mayer created Twilight purely after playing Legacy of Kain.

I'm not saying Legacy of Kain is "bad".

  • @Victissive

Um.... every vampire in LoK feeds on blood. There are no vegetarians. And they mostly all have yellow eyes. Raziel feeds on souls, Janos is just never shown feeding.

  • @dionkar336 Just research "Romanticism", or Romanticism movements, and Illuminism. That's where the Legacy of Kain, history and morality lines have their roots in.

You're reading it in the wrong way. Legacy of kain isn't openly Romantic, as in Love Story. It's Romanticism as in the literary style of both architecture, arts, speech, morality, and so forth.

  • @Victissive

Yes, I understand the difference between the Romantic movement and romantic as in a love story. Prior to this, every time I used romance or romantic, I meant it as a love story definition.

  • @dangezzz

"From the look of it, this door had been sealed for centuries." Was this ... the door to Edward's heart? That only Bella could open, and had "the key" for?

    Yes, there are endless similarities.

"I began to realise it was no mere coincidence that I found myself standing here beneath this winged figure with blue skin and cloven hands so like my own, and bearing this unique key."

It was no coincidence Bella found herself in love with a vampire, as she too was "unique".

  • @Soveraine

If there are endless similarities, then that means only one thing: Stephanie Meyers plagiarized Legacy of Kain, and she should be sued. You are actually building a pretty strong case against her here.

  • @dangezzz Raziel:

"And so it was, with a sense of gravity and trepidation that I unsealed that ancient door and crossed the threshold." (Into undeath, as Bella decided to become a vampire, for her love of Edward, as Raziel "loves" Kain, similarly).

"And while this room was clearly built when the Pillars were erected, I knew that no human hand could have shaped this place - and that perhaps it had never been seen by human eyes."

    Volturi much? Definately such.

  • @dangezzz

"The surrounding murals depicted a winged race, their features so like my own - but beautiful, where mine were grotesque..."

"and angelic, while mine were demonic."

"I tried to decipher these images... ...a great war, but with combatants like none I had ever seen..." (These were Ancients who would very soon become Fledgling vampires, just like the Fledgling Army of Victoria who used them to kill Edward and Bella, to avenge her slave-lover-whatever).

  • @dangezzz Raziel:

"...the winged beings again, writhing in agony, apparently afflicted with the same blood-thirst I had so recently suffered..."

"And I dared to hope we had parted ways forever. Your silence was refreshing, while it lasted. No doubt you have a conveniently inexpressible reason for your presence here?"

"Your hold on me appears to be tenuous. I no longer seem to need you, yet I'm guessing you still need me."

  • @dangezzz

"This impudence is unworthy of you, Raziel. Do not forget that you have a task to fulfill here. You are indebted to me."

"Indebted? You would have me show gratitude for a 'gift' I didn't ask to be bestowed? Do you forget that you forced me to inhabit this vile carcass-"

"But beware - to embrace a serpent is to invite poison into your heart. Kain is a sinuous beast; he will seduce and deceive you."

Again, more subtle sexplay on words.

  • @dangezzz

"I harbor no illusions about his integrity, nor anyone else's." *for he is a vampire, and deadly predator, like the Lion who fell in love with the Lamb ...*

Am I talking about Edward Cullen, or Kain?: See? You're so confused you don't even know what I'm quoting here !! But the wheel must turn; death is inexorable and cannot be denied.

Your destiny is irresistible, Raziel - you are my soul reaver

  • @Soveraine

"I harbor no illusions about his integrity, nor anyone else's."

This just means Raziel is cynical and doesn't trust anyone anymore. It happens when you are manipulated for several hundred years.

  • @dionkar336 Does Raziel say that about Vorador or whom?

  • @dionkar336 "I didn’t know what impulse stayed my hand – why I had so willingly allowed Kain to escape me, when I had pursued him for so long.

I had no reason to trust Kain, after he had valued me so little.

And yet I found myself intrigued by his words.

I had been too cruelly used to so gullibly play his pawn – but if this world truly had secrets to divulge, I was determined to expose them. "

I don't blame Raziel for being doubtful. I'm saying that's what brokenhearted girls do !!

  • @Victissive

Or curious people. Somebody just told you something that implies the very world you thought you knew was hiding something more. Are you saying you wouldn't be curious as well?

  • @dionkar336 I'm a conspiracy theorist myself. A brilliant one at that. There is no possibility that any other conspiracy theorist or other person would be intelligent enough to say something of that Magnitude.

Since my curiosity cannot "arise", because I'm already far beyond normal conspiracy theorists. Chances are, I already know much more about "what's hidden", than you or anyone else did.

I would be curious, if I weren't as intelligent, or skilled in Conspiracies as I am now.

  • @dionkar336 Twilight is Romantic, LegacyofKain is Romanticist.

Both have their roots in the literary philosphical movement of "Romanticism".

  • @dangezzz He tore the soul from your noble corpse, and after you had served him faithfully for a thousand years, he discarded you in the Abyss on a jealous whim.

Remember your rage, Raziel - let it guide your hand."

It's a confusing place to navigate, but we can follow these convenient yellow crystals to find the way. (that are in NO WAY glowing or ... sparkling. Kind of like Raziel's giant, long, slithering .... ahem, Soul Reaver) That also glows and sparkles.

  • @dangezzz

The Reaver Bolt, while we still have it, is not strong enough here to break things like this. We'll have to find another way.

Bolt? Is that what they call "sparkling light" in Nosgoth? I wonder ...

"So, my lurking observer was exposed. The creature vanished when he realised he was discovered, but I caught a glimpse of him, and his features were distinctive enough."

    "This was the vampire Vorador,

  • @dangezzz the monstrous assassin depicted in the Stronghold. Strange that a creature brazen enough to assault the Circle single-handedly would avoid confronting me."

"Very well, if Vorador would not come to me, I would go to him. But first I needed to find some means of reaching that terrace."

"There appeared to be a passage here, leading northward into the mountains. The opening, however, was obstructed and too high for me to reach."

*like the one Bella jumps off of, to find*

  • @dangezzz

"My lurking friend was nowhere to be seen, but I found these ruins even more intriguing." Shifting back, we find a number of curious objects... Mostly revolving around light and the manipulation of it.

*really ?!?! MOSTLY REVOLVING AROUND LIGHT AND THE MANIPULATION OF IT* If that doesn't raise a Sparkle Flag in any Twilight or normal person, ... What does ?!?!

  • @dangezzz

"Throughout this ancient shrine, murals depicted the winged race, the apocalyptic war against their mysterious and equally inhuman adversaries.

These winged beings, it seemed, were not only the architects of the Pillars, but of this enigmatic place as well, and just as in the Pillars' chamber, this shrine was adorned throughout with imagery of the Reaver, depicted with the reverence of a holy icon."

*these are the Injun Werewolves of Twilight. Shirtless, as the Hylden *

  • @dangezzz I won't go through all the details of the puzzle, but one interesting feature is this pillar. We pull it in front of a light source, and it casts a shadow, which hangs in mid air. The key to the puzzle, anyway, is to arrange a series of lights and mirrors with the ultimate objective of lighting this one...

*again ... those puzzles GLOW in order to be solved. They require sparkley lights to show our romantic heroes how to end their Ballads*

  • @dangezzz ...which shines onto this planet-like object suspended in the middle of the room... ...causes an eclipse-like effect...

(OH REALLY !>!>! ECLIPSE ?!?!?! HMMMM WHY DOES THAT SOUND FAMILIAR !!!)

    Ahahahahahha I continue.

...lights this crystal with an eerie black light...

"As I neared the altar, I suddenly felt the Reaver quickening of its own volition, just as in William's chapel. The balance of power tangibly shifted. Voracious and wilful, the

  • @dangezzz Soul Reaver was now in control, and I, merely its helpless puppet."

"The Reaver plunged itself into that mysterious altar, and devouring the energy that emanated from within, drained this place of its power."

*Notice the All Permeating DRAMA of it all. Love fits the picture PERFECTLY !!*

Raziel is actually being lifted off the ground here by the Reaver itself, as dark tendrils snake around it.

    Raziel:

  • @dangezzz

"Thus sated, the Reaver released me, and I realised as I recovered control, that these ancient shrines were forges, each purpose-built to enhance the Reaver with elemental power." Vorador:

"I see my reputation precedes me."

    Raziel:

    "It does."

    Vorador:

    "All good, I hope?"

    Vorador:

"I've been watching you since you emerged from that accursed stronghold."

"Strange that your arrival coincides with the corruption of the Pillars. But I'm wondering

  • @dangezzz - are you the catalyst of these events, or the answer to them?"

"I will speak plainly, then. I distrust your origins, stranger. Seeing you crawl from the putrid depths of Moebius's Keep makes me question your purpose here."

"And what should I make of your appearance? Not human, clearly - and more demon than vampire.

And the Pillars - it is no mere coincidence that your arrival in that clearing heralded the Pillars' decay.

And so I ask you plainly:

  • @dangezzz are you the instrument of the Pillars' destruction, or their salvation?"

"The path you have been treading is open to only one being..."

    Vorador:

"You don't know what you are, do you?"

*BELLA KNOWS !!! JUST LIKE VORADOR SHE DID HER RESEARCH !!!*

"What's the point - this world is beyond redemption. Let the human cattle have it."

"I would expect better that meek capitulation from you."

Wow? Vorador meekly capitulates? Like Edward does after Bella "dies"?

  • @dangezzz

"Centuries of persecution have taught me well." Poor Vorador. Just like Edward Cullen The Vampire's School of Unlife was very tough on them.

    LOL !!!

"Five hundred years ago, our race was almost exterminated by the fanatical crusades of the Sarafan."

"And now the same sick drama unfolds again. In merely a decade, Moebius's cutthroat citizen army has nearly accomplished what the Sarafan could not."

Drama !??! WHat EVER DO YOU MEAN ??!?! What is this ... Twilight, Or ??

  • @dangezzz

"Vampires meddling in the affairs of men... Look where it has brought us."

"Fairy tales, boy. The delusions of an ancient culture, clinging to hope long after the world had discarded them."

Fairies? In Legacy of Kain? Listen to Vorador, now, even he thinks they're "Fairy Tales". As in .... for Fairies.

    Are you a Fairy, boy?

  • @dangezzz Vorador:

"You're simply too late." * .,... to save Edward from the Volturi *

    ~_~

  • @dangezzz

"Janos Audron - the Reaver Guardian, the last of the Ancients, and my maker - was murdered by the Sarafan nearly five centuries ago."

"He alone would have the answers you seek, but his secrets died with him. I don't know how you've come even this far without his guidance - or without the Reaver, stolen these five hundred years ago by the Sarafan."

  • @dangezzz

    Elder God:

    "Ah, my wayward child returns..."

"Merely the deceits of a failed civilization. You are being mislead, Raziel.

This ancient race hoped to manipulate the future with these scrawled misdirections.

You must tread carefully. There are dark forces at work in this world, bent on subverting your true destiny."

  • @dangezzz

"My reach is longer than you realize. This is a very dangerous game you're playing, Raziel." *that's "ODD" ... don't the red eyed vampires also play games with their human prey? to hunt them and make it more tastey to kill them and feast on their blood?*

Oh well. Even Raziel's brothers from Soul Reaver 1, have red eyes. Just like the vampires who drink blood in Twilight.

And Janos, Kain, and Raziel had yellow eyes. Just like "good vampires" in Twilight.

    Vegetarian LoK ?

  • @dangezzz We find ourselves in another forge chamber, this one significantly brighter then the last. Once again, I'm not going to go through all the details of the puzzle, but this, too, revolves around the manipulation of light. This time, we want to light these two crystals.

...causes a beam of light to course between them...

*more manipulation of light and sparkly mana and souls ... OK this is getting ridiculous for you now.*

LoK is 12 times more Sparkley than Twilight is.

  • @dangezzz Raziel:

"I plunged the Reaver into the forge and imbued the blade with the elemental power of light." Kain:

"You cannot comprehend the magnitude - the rapture and the tragedy - of this moment..."

"And yet you must, if Nosgoth is to be dragged from the wreckage of its damnation."

They wish to "save the world" ? "Restore Nosgoth HER INNOCENCE" ???

Just like Edward wanted to not turn Bella into a vampire, so she keeps her human innocence?

    Yeah, no similarities THERE !!

  • @Soveraine

And when someone calls a country, nation, boat etc. a "She" they are also refering to Bella? A simple explanation for all this: You're stupid.

  • @dangezzz "I understand only this, Kain - that you and Moebius have impelled me to this moment, simply means that I can trust neither of you."

AH Yes ... TRUST !!??! How could I forget ... Bella decides she was lied to by Jacob, and "shuns him" no longer trusting the werewolf. Then saves Edward from the Volturi, .... and other Legacy of Kain type drama.

    Kain:

"You and I meet here because we are compelled to - we have always met here. History is irredeemable."

  • @dangezzz Lovestruck Kain beings to throw a bunch of heavy passionate wordplay in Raziel's direction.

This scene gets real hot'n'heavy for our teenage audience. Watch and see !

  • @Soveraine Herp Derp.

    Cool story bro.

  • @dangezzz Your class of homosexual is what brought about the downfall of the Legacy of Kain series.

If it wasn't for subhumans like yourself, with your crass ignorance and disrespect for Lok, it would be the continued series right now.

And I'd be playing it, and enjoying it's challanges, instead of dealing with fools such as you. You don't deserve to play Legacy of Kain games.

You're just a subhuman idiot who would rather be Edward Cullen, than a true LoK fan.

  • @Soveraine

    >Trying to act as a great troll

    >Says LoK is romantic and compares it to Twillight

    >writes 10 pages of quotes

    >Brags on about how Twillight is dark and gothic and then says it sucks

Good job brah. Fail troll is fail

  • @Soveraine you know it's kinda cute that you wanted to troll about it in this way... but seriously how text book could you get? i mean how about glancing on the plot holes and poking fun at such things as the hylden or other stuff. the ed article on how to troll LoK fans has existed for a long time. many have forgotten about the series, that's true. but when i glance at a troll thread about lok i at least expect a little originality and a chuckle. it's quite easy to troll airheads :P

  • @Soveraine Besides the stupid things you wrote about LoK being romantic and stuff, using the term of 'subhumans'... If you think you are above us just because you view things different, your trash. Think about it, your judgement might be wrong.

  • Oke now we all see he didnt play a single chapter of LoK... Go read storylines and change ''Fuck'' with ''Kill'' like u are adventist ... i mean u are prob faking adventist ... u do same for this game ... as you do for bible ... poor poor ... cant call you even human anymore ...ffs :(( so poor

  • @VesnaiGoca Just wait until they start to fight over the Heart of Janos. Who gets to "have it", and hold it, and caress it, and kiss it back to life ..

You will swallow your lies before I am done here.

  • Vae Victis, but the victorious was the mainstream... All heil to the Raziel and Kain!

  • Edward Cullen is a cancer to all vampires, and should be treated as such.

Even mentioning "him" on a legacy of kain video is offensive, long live REAL vampires ^.^

  • @xXlittlemissemokidXx Hahahahaha. But these "real vampires" were drawn on a piece of mortal paper, by mortal men.

They are fabrications. Naked fabrications, who have no sense to put on proper clothes, even.

Why do you think so many LoK fangirls created all that dreadful Yaoi hatecrimes, that forced the Legacy of Kain to abruptly end, in a sea of blood and flaming skies?

Because little girls are the dead of vampires. Or the bane of vampires.

    Something witty like that ...

  • @Soveraine You hate Legacy of Kain. I can respect your lowly opinion and bad taste, but why do you spill your trolling filth here ? Have you actually played through the series ?

  • @dangezzz I don't. Why would I?

I played Blood Omen 2, Defiance and Soul Reaver 2, in that order. Loved all of it.

Though it's easy to identify all the "Romance" influences, that are just Mexican Novellas. Basically LoK is more a Romantic game than it is Tragic or Gothic.

Sorry to burst your safety bubble there. Now you may finally breathe in the real world.

Why would you assume I would hate the series? Quite the opposite, I wish it was continued with at least 10 sequels.

  • @dangezzz Is "troll" code word for "jewish"? Are you calling me jewish, now?

If you're antisemitic at least be honest about it, don't hide behind code words like "troll". Your KKK upbringing is hard to conceal, I notice.

  • @Soveraine

    Mexican Novellas ? Romantic ?

    Troll bait much ?

Listen, if you're the guy who wrote the old ED article, I get it.

  • @dangezzz I didn't. I utterly love Legacy of Kain.

    You can't "get anything".

I won't deny the prevaling Romanticism from LoK.

Must I quote lines from the games themselves? For I shall.

And you will swallow your lies, Deceiver.

  • @Soveraine If you were a fan, you wouldn't compare the stellar piece of art, the timeless story Legacy of Kain has, to the deranged abomination emo teenage girls cry to called Twillight.

Now, why don't we stop desecrating this video with pointless bickering, and enjoy this ethereal song ?

  • @dangezzz I'm enjoying the song, but both Raziel, Mortanius, Vorador, Janos, Kain (I realise they aren't "both" and it's much more than just two, which completes the irony of this) have extremely romantic lines.

Again, if I start quoting them, you will see Twilight for the dark, gothic piece of horror it truly is. Next to the hopeless romanticism that is LoK.

I don't mind the Romance parts of LoK, I don't love them either.

But they are stronger than Twilight can even hope to give.

  • @Soveraine Trollin'

  • @dangezzz Are you an imbecile? Or just mentally challanged?

Again, you are a coward. Twilight is dark and gothic and horror at times. Lok is the opposite.

It has love scenes, friendship, romance, "nobility", saving the world, and other such childish ideals of Chivalry and Love and generally Romantic delusions for desperate fandom.

Now, shall I begin your public humiliation?

  • @dangezzz Raziel:

    "Very well, you old snake..."

"...if you'd prefer I use my bare hands..."

"This is completely unexpected! This orb disables our vampire enemies, leaving them helpless and incapacitated. Strangely, it seems to have the same effect on that peculiar weapon of yours. But you must believe me - I mean you no harm."

  • @dangezzz "You can drop the benevolent façade, Moebius. I know who - and what - you are. I should kill you where you stand..." "Perhaps you should, my boy."

"Hmph. You two are a pair - you're just as fatalistic as he is." "Death comes for us all, Raziel. It's just a matter of time." "How is it that you know my name? We have never met."

  • @dangezzz "On the contrary, Raziel - I know you very well... And it grieves me to see how cruelly Kain has used you. I knew you when you were one of the Sarafan brotherhood, Raziel. We were even close." "Oh please." "Fortunately, you need not love me now to be my ally..." "Yes, but the glorious days of the Sarafan have long since passed, I'm afraid. This is a more... cynical and indecorous age. My mercenary army now inhabits this stronghold - we strive to honor

  • @dangezzz the memory of the Sarafan with our own humble crusade." Raziel:

"You have a reputation for deceit." "And who has slandered me so? Your malefactor Kain? The one who betrayed and destroyed you? Our common enemy? Consider the source, before you judge me too harshly." "We'll forget about rekindling our old friendship, then. But consider an alliance based on our common ground..."

  • @Soveraine Lulz thats only part of game ... and its whole diffrent situation when your clip in game ... so sush ... Twilight is peace of shit rly ... it million years far from LoK...

Twilight is poor what is LoK for storyline lol

  • @VesnaiGoca I continue then. Keep reading the lines. How romantic they sound.

Read up on "Romanticism" if you wish to be able to define Legacy of Kain properly

  • @Soveraine Lulz .. oke this is stupid ... man game is not for reading it is for playing and as i said it is whole diffrent situation if your experienceing like playing dont u get it ... go play game and u will see how much it is romantic ... dont just read storyline ...

  • @dangezzz "Even now, Kain is lying in wait for you, unaware that I've snatched you out of the time-stream and brought you here to me." See how he lingers at the very Pillars he is destined to destroy, foolishly confident that he has eluded your grasp." "You may never again be human, Raziel... But you can re-embrace the essence of your humanity, and the nobility of your Sarafan heritage. Go to him, Raziel, and end this."

  • @dangezzz "But first you will need to find your way out of the Stronghold - and in this, I'm afraid, I cannot help you. My soldiers will not understand your appearance here; they will try to kill you." "You needn't fear them, of course. They're no match for you."

"Try to keep the casualties to a minimum, but do what you have to do." "All great movements require a few martyrs..."

  • @Soveraine Now you're making sexual puns. And making yourself sound like a dumbass to make the LoK look like some cheap erotic novel

And for the record - "Kill" doesn't mean "Fuck"

  • @dangezzz It's not "erotic". Except for a few rare moments when Kain falls back upon William's tomb, and Raziel tries to stab him to death, only spares him, romantically.

I never said it was "sexual" or "cheaply erotic". I said it's ROMANTIC. Are you a complete idiot? Or just unable to read what I write?

"Until, of course, Kain shattered the blade against me when he tried to strike me down."

  • @Soveraine No, it's just that I see what you're getting at. You're using those lines in a wrong context.

The difference is that you don't replace those words. Ever. That's why it will never be in the same class as the shit called Twillight.

  • @dangezzz "As I passed this arcane landmark, a wisp of the Reaver's energy was drawn to the ring, illuminating it. This created a beacon of sorts in the Spirit World." "If ever I found myself depleted in the Spectral Realm, and my soul tossed on the ethereal winds, these beacons would draw me back to safety and restore me."

"These ancient obelisks were mysteriously attuned to my spiritual essence."

  • @dangezzz "By simply touching the symbol, I could safely preserve an imprint of my soul, and thus create a milestone to which I could return when weary, and from which I could resume my journey." "Infiltrating the fortress, however, would be no small feat, the balcony that had provided my escape was now well beyond my reach, leaving this massive gateway as the only means of entry."

  • @dangezzz "These vampires had nothing in common with the deranged jackals I left behind in Kain's derelict empire. They seemed to retain much of their former humanity. In this era, vampires were clearly not the uncontested predators we had been." "These creatures were hunted mercilessly and oppressed, and while I still believed that vampirism was a plague, and had to be wiped out, there was nothing noble of righteous about this crusade."

  • @dangezzz "This was simply ruthless persecution." "The Pillars of Nosgoth... pristine, whole and uncorrupted." Raziel:

"I had never beheld them in this undefiled state - yet something profound and indelible resonated within me at the sight." "And there, waiting at the very heart of the Pillars..." "I know you are there, Raziel."

"Moebius led me to you, Kain, although I might have guessed you'd meet me here."

  • @dangezzz "And if Moebius told you I was hidden on the underside of hell, would you throw yourself into oblivion to pursue me?"

What do you suppose "underside" means? Hahahahha, you know what it means. Ghuuzuzuzuz. "Spare me your elaborate metaphors, Kain. I have pursued you here for one purpose - you will pay for your betrayal, and Balance will thus be restored to Nosgoth."

Now read some Twilight, and behold the similarities. Should be over 95%.

  • @dangezzz "And whose will is satisfied then, the will of Raziel, or Moebius?" "This isn't a chase, Raziel - we are merely passengers on the wheel of destiny, describing a perfect circle to this point."

"We have been brought here for a reason." Kain:

"I have seen the beginning and the end of our story, however - and the tale is crude and ill-conceived. We must rewrite the ending of it, you and I."

C'MON !!! HOW SIROUPEY CAN THIS GET !?!?!

  • @dangezzz "Isn't it customary to grant the condemned a final request?" "I recall no such courtesy from you." "Indulge me, Raziel. All I ask is that you listen." Here, we begin to hear a tortured wailing in the distance, that seems to resonate over the whole of Nosgoth.

    Kain:

"This is the sublime moment of our undoing, Raziel - the ineffable fulcrum upon which swings the entirety of our history."

  • @Soveraine You do not need to rewrite the whole series here, I played them through countless times.

You do realize you're comparing the story of Reaver and the Corruption of Nosgoth, to sparkling vampires trying to pick up emo girls ? You're either very, very deluded, or just trolling. Believe me, your profile reinforces this ;)

  • @dangezzz Kain and Raziel sparkle enough times. When they teleport, or die, or shift to the spectral plane, or use their dark gifts, or do something dramatic, and "epic", or phase through bars or turn to mist.

You're just ignorant of them, since you deny what's easy to see. Vampires in Legacy of Kain sparkle in the sunlight as well. You see that in Soul Reaver 1, when Raziel kills the Dumahim, by throwing them into direct sunlight. They sparkle ... as they burn to death in fireflies.

  • @Soveraine

Thats just limited graphics. They don't sparkle, they burn. Fire is not equatable to sparkling skin.

  • @dionkar336 They don't burn. Only Immolation, the ability of flaming homosexuality that Kain devours from Magnus, his "dark gift", is actual fire.

And so is the Flame Font, that both Raziel and Kain forge their Reavers in. By raping the fonts with their giant fallic symbols (of course).

  • @dangezzz

"We agree then that the Pillars are crucial, and must be restored?" Restoring the "pillars"? Really? How much more "Phallic Symbol" does it have to get, for you to realise the subtext here?

Do you have to see giant dildoes with little locks on them with the guardian symbols on each of them? Being wrinkled or "broken" as your ego is emasculated, and you try to "restore" the hardons to their original "tough selves"? That would "satisfy" Nosgoth ,and every hero involved?

  • @Soveraine

OR, and I'm just spitballing here, but the pillars could represent a connection between the heavens (they seemingly have no end) and the earth (they go deep into the ground).

It is supposed to be mystical.

  • @dionkar336 "Mystical"? Seriously? The Pillars assuming they aren't fallic symbols, could be the Beasts of Revelations.

One of them has seven heads and 10 "horns" (or pillars), and the Dragon has something similar, only in reverse.

  • @dionkar336 The Pillars are a symbol of TIME, first of all. When timelines are changed enough, the "Balance" is broken in Nosgoth, and the pillars are destroyed.

They symbolise both Balance, Unity in nosgoth, and Time.

  • @dionkar336 Since "Time is endless" and goes both in the future (up in the Sky) , and below (deep in the Ground) and Past, equally.

  • @dangezzz Kain:

"This is where all of Nosgoth is betrayed. In this instant, Ariel - the Balance Guardian - is murdered by dark forces bent on overthrowing the Pillars."

"Her spirit is just now tearing free, lost in the ether, trying to find its way here. You have already seen how she comes to haunt these Pillars-" Raziel:

    "...my god..."

They sound like Diehard Jesus loving Christian preppies, so far .... see how they yearn for each other? Their fits of jealousy command them?

  • @Soveraine

Actually, many elements of the LOK series would be considered sacrilegious in Christianity. And uttering "my god" is hardly diehard Jesus love. Hell, I say that all the time, and I'm an atheist.

  • @dionkar336 What elements of LOK would be "considered sacrilegious"?

None of them, that's what. They're all pretty christian. And the rest are possibly pagan or Freemason.

But most are 100% Christian symbols.

  • @dangezzz Kain:

"At the moment of my first cry, Ariel's beloved - the Guardian Nupraptor - finds her corpse."

"Wracked with grief and tormented with suspicions of treachery, Nupraptor plunges into a madness which overflows and infects all of the Guardians, who are symbiotically bound. Including me."

"The repercussions of Ariel's assassination were expertly calculated..."

  • @dangezzz

"The entire Circle descends into madness, and I am tainted at the moment of my birth - instantly rendered incapable of fulfilling the role destiny has prepared for me."

"Shall I show you the same mercy you showed the rest of the Circle, then? You blithely murdered them to restore their Pillars, yet your hand faltered when it came to the final sacrifice."

"Let's drop the moral posturing, shall we? We both know there's no altruism in this pursuit."

    Just LOVE ...

  • @dangezzz Kain:

"Your reckless indignation led you here - I counted on it." Kain:

"There's no shame in it, Raziel - revenge is motivation enough." Kain:

    "At least it's honest." Kain:

"Hate me, but do it honestly."

(Or LOVE me, but do it SECRETLY and in plain sight for everyone to witness)

Now you're so confused you don't even know if I'm quoting Soul Reaver 2, ... or a Twilight book !!!!

  • @dangezzz

"Thirty years hence, I am presented with a dilemma - let's call it a two-sided coin."

Definately not the same as when Bella has a dilemma to chose between a vampire or a werewolf. Like when Raziel has to chose between the Hylden or the Vampires.

Or Kain and the Elder God. Moebius and Vorador. Definately "nothing of that exact sort".

You are so far deep in your closet you don't even see what's in plain sight.

  • @dangezzz "Thus the captive spirit inhabiting the Reaver was released - and binding itself to me, became my symbiotic weapon." Raziel reaches out to touch the broken Reaver, and as though in response, the wraith blade begins to manifest on his arm, of it's own will.

"Embracing its twin, its mirror self, the Reaver's long-dormant spirit was now fully aroused." ~~ OMG I'M NOT EVEN MAKING THIS UP !! ~~

  • @Soveraine

You child. Aroused can mean many different things not related to a sexual connotation. In this case, they were referencing its hunger, which was fully aroused. Aroused meaning woken up. The writers for the game were British, so they do have different word uses and idiosyncracies than in American English.

  • @dionkar336 Yes, but that is clear sexual subtext. Just like a rapist is "aroused" when glances it's victim, it's sexual members become full of blood and vicious. Ready for Raep, as the Reaver / Raper / Reaper, was for all "enemies of Raziel and Nosgoth".

Arisen, or Risen, means "woken up".

  • @dangezzz "And for the first time, I felt the true presence of this other entity - wilful, ravenous, and deranged from thousands of years of imprisonment..." "Then Reaver was now in command - and I, now merely its helpless host, felt my soul being leeched to restore the blade." "But the Reaver knew better than to destroy its host - and just as I neared the brink of oblivion, the blade released its hold on me.

Replace "blade" with Love, and Reaver with Edward.

  • @Soveraine

well, that replacement made little to no sense. It was kinda funny though.

  • @dionkar336 It wasn't meant to be funny at all.

Legacy of Kain is more Soviet in it's Freemason propaganda than you know.

It's culture is purely Social Romanticism. The type jews would use to draw mercy to their cause. The Sarafan are "evil Nazis", Moebius is Adolf Hitler, and the poor little vampires being crusaded against are innocent little jews.

  • @dangezzz "As I recovered, I realized we were now bound together in a fragile alliance - the Reaver no longer merely my symbiotic weapon, but a sentient parasite, competing for control." "What have you done to me, Moebius?! Is this your trap?!" "How mine?! Don't forget it was Kain who led you here, not I!

While you curse me - the only soul in Nosgoth ready to guide and assist you - Kain laughs at our folly and revels in your dismay."

  • @dangezzz "These blades now coiled in sinister embrace have inspired terror in the hearts of creatures far more durable than you, old man. Bound together as they are, I can only imagine what they could do to your soul's fragile shell." "Raziel, I beg you to stay your hand. This was none of my doing. I have sought only to aid you in your righteous quest." "Why, you're trembling, Moebius. Has your confidence abandoned you? You seem to have made a fatal error

  • @Soveraine Lol u can copy paste all the time ... i said go play a game than watch movie ... lol whole diffrent world ... if u cant see it ur mentaly retarded ...

  • @VesnaiGoca Call any dedicated Twilight fangirl. Ask her to read the lines I just copied from Soul Reaver 2 just now.

Tell me if she doesn't react to them, and recognise them from Twilight. She will. It's almost as if Stephanie Mayer used Legacy of Kain as her main inspiration.

Even Raziel and Kain have glowing weapons, and use bright attacks, like fire, lightning, balls of light to teleport, and other "shining paraphernalia". Or haven't you played the games, or seen the cutscenes?

  • @dangezzz by leaving your precious staff behind. Is that where all your courage comes from?" Listen to me, Raziel - you don't know what you're doing. I have taken an enormous risk by appearing here before you, so defenseless, yet eager to prove my good intentions." "If there's anything left of the Sarafan in you, you won't do this." "Don't concern yourself with Kain, old man. He'll join you in hell soon enough."

  • @dangezzz "As you said, Death comes to us all..." Raziel:

"Kain is waiting for me." "You, who were once a Sarafan priest - murdered, profaned, destroyed and reborn again from His mercy..." Moebius:

"By my soul, you almost had me, my little blue assassin. But that'll be the one and only chance you get, I assure you of that." "I could now summon the blade at will, regardless of my strength. But once summoned, the blade's ravenous appetite could not be contained."

  • @dangezzz "It devoured the souls of its victims... And if I allowed it to become over-aroused, the Reaver would now turn its hunger on me." "But I wondered - could Janos Audron truly have been as monstrous as depicted here?

Or was this merely artistic licence by the Sarafan, who sought to lionize themselves by demonizing their darkest enemy?"

  • @dangezzz "This chapel, I realised, was a memorial to my former Sarafan brethren, and myself, all of us martyred here, and then so cruelly profaned by Kain when he imposed his gift on our noble corpses." "For the first time I beheld the image of my Sarafan self, memorialised here among my fallen comrades. It tortured me to see how noble and pure I had been, and what a vile phantasm I had become."

"And a profound sense of injury, of loss, and betrayal welled up in me,

  • @dangezzz "I emerged, and for the first time, beheld Nosgoth in its former glory." "A land overflowed with abundant life and vitality, and I knew with certainty then that the world I had left behind was nothing more than the corpse of Nosgoth, a lifeless husk bled dry by the corruption of Kain's parasitic empire."

  • @dangezzz Raziel:

"Throughout the Stronghold I discovered evidence of my former nobility, and my life as a Sarafan priest." "This was the heritage so foully stolen from me when Kain raided my sacred crypt and defiled me." "I finally understood how Moebius' crusade could decimate the vampires so successfully. If he could immobilise his enemies, they were at his mercy. But why, I wondered, did the staff have any effect on the Reaver?"

  • @dangezzz "As I neared the Stronghold's inner sanctum, a strange sensation crept over me - an indescribable feeling of displacement, a sense of vertigo as reality itself appeared to warp and bend around me." "The disturbance seemed to emanate from the Sanctuary's furthest chapel. As I cautiously approached, the sense of dislocation intensified with each step." "So this was the tomb of the beloved King William the Just beautified here as the martyr and catalyst of Moebius's crusade."

  • @xXlittlemissemokidXx Little underaged girls are to vampires, 100 times deadlier than holy water, sunlight, fire, water, wooden stakes.

That's possibly the whole "moral of the story". Wether it's Edward, or the vampires here, they are still "ended" by crazy little girls and their sick, disturbed, sexual fantasies.

  • "This is the sublime moment of our undoing, Raziel – the ineffable fulcrum upon which swings the entirety of our history."

  • @MrGeorgeSears " suppose one day...it lands on its EDGE "

  • *Kain takes shirt off and kills some baduns* ... and fanbois everywhere came in unison.

*Raziel walks around with the lower part of it's body exposed* and fanbois orgasmed multiply!

Yeah, how are you people different than girls from team jacob or team edward?

  • @Soveraine Because LoK fans don't do any of that. Don't make shit up to try to descredit a game series or it's fans, it just exposes you for the butthurt manchild you are.

  • @ThePierrekirbyfanboy Not discrediting anything, you twat pie.

I'm saying Kain is shirtless, Raziel is fully exposed except for the scarf on his neck and face.

How can you say anything bad about Twilight, which is still decently dressed, next to the Legacy of Kain folk?

  • @Soveraine

Well, Raziel is also basically a skeleton, so running around naked isn't really a big deal for him. And Kain is just super buff. There are tons of guys here and especially in Europe who walk around shirtless in warm weather. Its a style

  • @dionkar336 I never saw this in Europe, and I live here. Here people walk around with clothes on. Unless they're at the beach swimming or something else.

I get that most europeans may be crazy nudist liberals, but I don't see any of that in my country, thank you very much.

How is Nosgoth any "warm weather"?

  • @dionkar336 Clothes symbolise the "Main Characters", who have little clothes on. The evil ones, like Moebius, the Sarafan knights, Malek, are all heavily dressed, and armor clad.

No clothes means less armor, which means more "friendly attire" for the target audience. Because no armour means also less potential danger for the viewer's subconscious.

Kain does wear heavy armor when he dies as a noble and is revived as a vampire, in Blood Omen 1 & 2.

    But not in Defiance.
