  • So, that's a little different

  • Good old times, as I wasn't born. :D

  • bueno esto era sus primeros tiempos como cualquiera suena como iron maiden

  • no tenian fuerza para nada en ese tiempo ahora son los mejores

  • i just old music but its SLIPKNOT YOU STUPIDS

  • Sorry I think this fuck isn´t Slipknot! The fucking Singer isn´t Corey and the Music isn´t Slipknot Style! It´s sound like Jazz!

  • @LuFu1996 Probably because it is jazz. Sounds better than most of the shit on All Hope is Gone

  • @SummoningACryptid All Hope is Gone is some harder and more Slipknot than this!

  • @LuFu1996 How the fuck can something be "more slipknot"? And metal does not have to be hard to be good. This is much more flavorful than All Hope Is Gone

  • @SummoningACryptid i wouldn't call this metal

  • @Forre12 I disagree. This sound is much more raw and kick ass than the highly polished stuff slipknot releases now. I believe that slipknot is stuck in a pattern of having released the same sounding stuff repeatedly, hence that one comment about it not sounding "slipknot enough". Though i respect your opinion and i understand your perspective

  • @LuFu1996 This is Anders,Slipknots former singer

  • Según dicen a este cantante lo quitaron por que su voz no tenia fuerza, en realidad se dice que Corey quería tocar la batería

  • Anders sounds so much better than Corey. The grit in his voice is unpolished and still in the rough in MFKR and slipknot could have been so much more if they kept him as singer. Now slipknot is considered run-of-the-mill metal that has no real impression on anything. Slipknot became too, lets say, structured and plain, while MFKR had some of the most abstract and impressionable shit on it. Demo or not, i consider this the best out of all their albums.

  • @maggotfran hahahahahahahhahahahahahahaha q chido bien x ti

  • Paul's Bass >>> ALL

  • nice love it

  • porra voz do corey é bem melhorrrrr

  • Anders Colsefini is actually a really good singer, the only reason he left the band is because they wanted Corey to be front man and Anders to be backup vocals and tribal drummer

  • Bem legal a voz desse vocalista antigo, mas prefiro o Corey mesmo

  • I wish I could buy this song. :'(

  • Paul's bass lines used to be so awesome

  • for me Mr Bungle hahaha

  • Mate Feed Kill Repeat reminds me of Mr bungle and Mushroomhead. And I think it's great.

  • What the hell are people complaining about? Of course this is different from any other song of Slipknot, but to be honest it's one of the best I've ever heard, especially the bass which makes it more melodic, and the guitar solo is beautiful!

  • is this slipknot???

  • @odysseas897 yes, old school!

  • The vocals are actually not so awful, just needs a little more technique ;)

  • @Strmy100 What? Why? I think the intro singing(you know the dualvoicesinging, i dont know the correct term for it, 'Stems'?) is goddamn nice and needs no technique addition?

  • @M08bballer The dualvoiceing is nice, I meant the way how he hits the notes and how he forms the sound coming out. He has a nice color of voice, but he still needs practice.

  • @Strmy100 True, but i think this grimey voice still suits the song nice :)

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA

Tem cara aí dizendo que não é Slipknot.

Pô, mano. Vai aprender mais sobre a banda.

  • i used to love slipknot, then i grew a bit up and now i like talking heads.

but this track keeps on being just great.

    just great.

  • Comment removed

  • i just got done listening to the Red hot chili peppers before i decided to try this song out, and it sounds a lot like rhcp

  • I love this song!

  • I like, it just a bit of a WTF!

  • Bass - Amazing

    Singing - not so much

    Everything Else - cool beans

  • this is the real slipknot

  • @eduardo5978 I really wish it would still be that way

  • filho da puta isso ai num eh slipknot nem fudendo filho da puta

  • @Adrianoslipknot1000 Claro que é. E a música é foda.

  • Early Slipknot That Is Similar To This seem to be very overlooked.... IDK Why Though Cause even Though It's Redundant (Sometimes)

    I LIVE IT.!!

  • legalllllllllllll

  • The solo is excellent

  • @ aeroaudi that's awesome that you got a signed copy. 1 of 1000 copies dude, that's awesome.

  • @aeroaudi I agree it's a great album and such. Yes this is Slipknot, but I started listening when the subliminal verses came out. Since then I have heard every song by Slipknot 1996-99 and Slipknot 1999-2011. I still picture them as a band together, to not be separated by a death. I love Slipknot and they have been my favourite band since I first heard them. Isn't that what counts? Wether you like it or not? That goes to anyone who wants to fight about all of this. It's a band to listen to. Jus

  • @Xbox360He115Wrath i agree with you so damn much

  • They were still looking for their sound by that time. But seriously, Paul made great riffs in this one. Awesome!

  • seems rap

  • ive lived in iowa my whole life, known this band for almost as long, gotta a chris autographed copy of this album. and i've listened to them for bout 13 or so years been to a concert, the whole deal. what i am getting at is; i'm no noob when it comes to these guys. this is real slipknot, self titled and after is another band that has the same name. and after subliminal verses they sold out. i cherrish this album more than any other slipknot album

  • @aeroaudi it's a shame only some songs were good.

  • @aeroaudi You, sir/ma'am, are a DUMBFUCK, the self-titled and after ARE Slipknot.. MFKR is AWESOME, but it's essentially a DEMO.. This band only contains members of Slipknot.. And you can say whatever you want about the Subliminal Verses, but it's probably their most refined album.. And why the fuck would you have Chris sign your copy of this? HE DIDN'T EVEN PLAY ON IT.. Dumbass..

  • @aaramon1 i didnt have him sign it, my sister did. i consider it a whole new band because of the lineup change. so i am not a "dumbfuck" sir/ma'am. but you certainly do not have to get so defensive. you must have a horrible life if you get so bent outa shape at the smallest things....

  • @aeroaudi Kinda funny Chris signed it being he wasn't even in it lol.

  • i dont know why even though i was born in 98 this stuff gives nostalgia and maeks kind of sad on how music has changed check out my channel more covers comin ill take requests i hope im in a funk metal band when im older

  • @k1noify then you are musiclly numb and you should die a horrible painfull death. Bitch.

  • @steinable lol. They are talented, I'll admit that. The whole "scary" image just kinda pisses me off.

  • @k1noify it's more or less an expression of how the music makes them feel

  • Is this Anders Culsufini?

  • @Mr3noobcake *Colsefni

  • I love this album, but how the heck did Slipknot get a record deal off of this?

  • Im SOOOOOO gald they didn't keep him & had Corey Todd taylor as their new singer :3

  • Man their earlier stuff was groundbreaking stuff.

  • 0:45 sounds so familiar, but I can't put my finger on it.

  • @WWEMaggot It reminds me of the bass solo early in the song "hammer smashed face by cannibal corpse"

  • @WWEMaggot 1 month later, lol, 0:45 sounds like Mario?

  • @WWEMaggot mario lol?

  • Wow man. Slipknot is hated by sooo many metal fans and I don't fuckin' know why, they are talented artists.

  • this is the REAL Slipknot!!!

  • the best song of mate feed kill xD

  • Negative fuckers.. this album and song are fucking great, if you respect slipknot and it's history you don't call this album shit because you don't like it YOU FAGS ARE NOT SLIPKNOT FANS

  • @Cqub3 I don't respect slipknot or their history, but I love this album.

  • @Cqub3 i respect this maggot

  • @Cqub3 lmao shut up dingus

  • why the hell do i like this more then other slipknot songs?!

  • This song chills me out... I never thought there would be a slipknot song that could do that lol

  • Corey isn't leaving the band..I hate when people spread shit like that.

  • @Thomaspryo Go read his statements..,

  • @hcwmusic55 This. Corey has been contemplating it a lot after Paul's death. I hate when people neglect acknowledging the truth just because of their appreciation for a band.

  • @SummoningACryptid Exactly, he has said that he might and with Donnie back(even though not on stage) it would make he 1st group with some execptions..., and Slipknot is more than a band, Paul got them so far into the world as a writer, bassist, and brother, and unfortuanatly God had to take him away from us, but theyre going to continue, Joey stated that, even if no one stated Slipknot would continue, they still would!

  • Don't worry

  • starting around 1:35-1:52 sounds like people=shit, first verse.

  • It's spelled Colsefini.

  • @HxCbeliever my bad, dont pay attention to my spelling anymore haha

  • I honestly kinda like Colsefani's voice! Corey's is cool too though, if Corey decided to leave the band though, as rumors are being spread, Colsefani is being pumped to comeback!!! The old slipknot except for Paul, Rest In Peace Big Brother! We Love you

  • dat bass.

  • The bass on this whole album is amazing

  • i'm listen it at 2011 and i can't believe it..slipknot recorded this song??!!!??!!! you are kidding me...but it's a good song(2:42 the best part)

  • Holy shit!!!! Slipknot sucked on this album like bad!!!!!

  • @MetalGearSolidNick1 this album made them famous!!!!(;

  • @FUCKROCKBOY Haha hell no!!!! Haha that's like saying the black sabbath album Forbidden made them famous!!! lol that album sucks

  • @MetalGearSolidNick1 Oh damn! im serious lol

  • @MetalGearSolidNick1 this was there best album you fucker

  • @Fenderprecision51 Haha i dont think so!

  • Its so strange that this to say this is a slipknot song, but they changed so much between Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat and Slipknot. but awesome song either way

  • @tonibiruta I dont care who really sings the song i just wanna hear some up to date tune.

  • Jazz WTF xD but is pretty cool

  • @mushafasa Because i like SlipKnoT what ever it is metal, rock or nu-metal i dont give two shits there a good band ya see.

  • @itsmurphywalsh ya see? then youre a no mind fag there is no way this has anything to do with the early slipknot this is has nothing to do with corey ok? fag

  • awesome shit man

  • I WANNA HEAR A REMAKE !!!

  • @itsmurphywalsh why the fuck would you want a remake.. now that the bass player is dead and slipknot already started going downhill more than that.. best leave this masterpiece as it is lest it be tainted and spoiled like so much other good music has..

  • Too much silense... But is cool...

    IT'S SLIPKNOT!!!!!

  • the beginning reminds me of the jurassic park - the lost world game theme for the first gameboy. you could find it if you search for "Jurassic Park The Lost World - Lab Theme "

  • @sickoh

    dude wtf, you're right!

  • @sickoh lol agreed, classick game

  • @sickoh Damn man! That game is sooo damn old. God, the memories. ^_^

  • Donnie wrote this song......... And paul was the only one who liked it. Lol

  • @JakeSLIPKNOTMaggot I can see that

  • @JakeSLIPKNOTMaggot good ol paul lol

  • Andres is singing braves8761

  • the begging sounds... kinda like buckethead...

  • @PanterA7454 alright

  • whos singing?

  • @braves87861 It's Anders. He was the singer before Corey, a long time ago.

  • this is true music, everything after self titled is another band as far as im concerned. got this cd signed by chris!

  • Comment removed

  • @PanterA7454 chill man

  • @PanterA7454 (me) haha

  • @PanterA7454 thanx, dude. but i think ur right. i'm wrong. i thought donnie steele played bass in 1996. And since Paul Gray died donnie steele has been playing playing bass on their tour right now. that's why i thought Donnie Steele played bass in 1996 and slipknot got him back.

  • @PanterA7454 you're so retarted. how am i saying shit? i just said donnie steele played bass. i got some research wrong. God! chill out. you take stuff too serious. didn't you learn how to control yourself you bastard. it's not a big deal.just because i said something wrong doesn't mean you're suppose to talk shit about me. it's not the end of the world.

  • Corey is way better sounding

  • Comment removed

  • Back then the band was really awesome. Especially with the different styles the used like rap, metal and funk. Plus Werewolf: The Apocalypse. Win-Win!

  • Werewolf: The Apocalypse

  • haha on a song meanings page it says : Confessions is a letter from a father to a son from whom he's been separated for about 17 years. It arrives about the time of the boy's first transformation. It was written by Donnie Steele. Only Paul likes this song. XDD

  • This is one of their older songs that I like. But...am I the only one who thinks some parts sound like an old video game? xD

  • this song is very cool but i prefer corey taylor voice

  • first slipknot song

  • lol sounds like jazz band

  • this song fucking rules. and as far as i'm concerned slipknot has NEVER sold out. they've always done the unexpected and (from what i can tell) have stayed true to that they feel is good for them IN THAT MOMENT. i think the progression from the early jazz stuff to the all out brutality didn't have a lot to do with making money and selling albums. but maybe it did have a bit to do with getting heard and creating a place for themselves in the industry.

  • one of my favourite song from this album.:D

  • This is Slipknot?

  • @zamdude7 it was the old slipknot its better now listen to physcosocial its well better

  • @Punkrock3011 I've heard the newer stuff. I just thought this might be fake, but it's not.

  • I love this cd, i think it's insanely good!

Even if I could speak english well (I'm from Argentina), it would be difficult to describe with words.

  • @TheAntiPop777 Link for evidence..? I don't know, when someone tells me that my riff could use a little work, or that my melody could be catchier, I change it because if I can find something that I like and that pleases a listener than I have no problem doing that.

  • โหดๆ

  • โหดๆ

  • @TheAntiPop777 If anything, they did the opposite of selling out. If they had stayed exactly the same so that all of those 'fans' that said "fuck Slipknot" after Volume 3 came out, wouldn't that have been selling out..? They didn't write more dynamic songs because they thought it would make more money; they wrote more dynamic songs because, as a musician, playing the same shit over and over and over is horrible. If you only play one genre all the time, it sucks.

  • @851852093114208513 yeah, but now they suck. They are mainstream-ish now. That was what I loved about early Slipknot, it was organized chaos in music form. It was different, yet amazing. Now it's all sing song bullshit...as if they wanna tour with Justin Beiber. MFKR pre-Cory, amazing. Raw. S/T - Still amazing, chaotic. Iowa - Meh, I liked it a lot, but a bit more...normal. Everything post-Iowa, fucking horrible.

  • @ExecutionKing Every Slipknot album and song is good. They have just changed way too much.

  • @zamdude7 so whats wrong with change...it would suck if they stayed the same the whole time

  • @TheTrickedBag They are still good, they just don't sound like they did a while back.

  • @zamdude7 They're both good, it's just unfortunate that having both is not possible.

  • @WereRabbbit What do you mean?

  • @zamdude7 What I meant was that bands do change and there will always be people who like the new changes and people who like the older. Usually when bands change, it changes in a way that would be very hard to deliver what both fans want.

  • @WereRabbbit Oh. I've liked them all so far. They did become more mainstream, and stuff, but they are still good.

  • @zamdude7 Same. I like the new slipknot but there older stuff is a bit interesting still. Especially this.

  • @WereRabbbit Yea, the old stuff gets kinda weird, but some of the old stuff is amazing.

  • @zamdude7 Their new stuff is great too, but it couldn't hurt to be a bit more explorative with their style like this is.

  • @WereRabbbit Yea. A couple of the songs on All Hope is Gone are really similar, and stuff like that. Maybe in 2012 when they might make a new album they will be unique again.

  • @ExecutionKing i dont know about you but all hope is gone was pretty heavy..just because like 2 songs on it were soft doesnt mean there not heavy..and volume 3 was very fucking unique in a good way

  • @TheTrickedBag not when compared to anything off of their s/t. I am not saying a light song ruins the band, im saying when you put two songs from then and now together, its too...different. It's mainstream now. they are like greenday, from great punk feeling punk-rock to...emotastic rock. From epic to pussy. Im just the kind of person who likes a bands one great sound...not much into the changes a band goes through. Everyone likes diff stuff, I know, but slipknot's changes made me not a maggot.

  • So, is this what Slipknot was, and then sold out after this album?

    I loooovee it.

  • @Ktadie Slipknot never sold out.

  • @851852093114208513 If you make money off your art, you're selling out. There's nothing wrong with selling out in and of itself. However, there is something immensely wrong with compromising your art for the sake of money, which is exactly what Slipknot did.

  • @Ktadie Looky here boys, a huge hipster.

  • I love this song...so relaxing...ah what could of been, anyone know of similar stuff, with the dark undertones and all that?

  • Ok I know this is a weird comment but this kinda reminds me of a Red Hot Chili Peppers meets Mr Bungle kinda vibe songs yet I imagine Linkin Park doing a cover of this song. I mean imagine Chester Bennington doing a "you dont wanna know" part on a high screaming rage while Mike Shinoda is doing the rap part. I dunno bout you guys.

    Peace :D

  • O.o

  • i must admit slipknot sounds a lot better with Corey Taylor than with Anders Colsefini.

  • @666555kbs1996 that'd be Colsefni ...sorry to be an anal fucktard

  • this is my new favorite son

  • this sucks

  • Mine is better quality

  • This is going to be on Vol 5 in Paul's honor.

  • holy shit paul gray!!

  • @sarcasim18 paul gray wasn't in this slipnknot in 1996. it was donnie steele.
