The actor who plays Omar is great! I love OZ too, it showcases so much talent and greatness has come from it like of course Edie Falco and Chris Meloni. I wished I seen more of Minister Saaid. He's one of my favorite characters of all friggin time. His wisdom-his inner fighting with demons to be the man he believes he's suppose to be. I see me in him more then anyone on this show. Wish he had more parts in movies/tv.

I admit it. I definitely have some of Omar's personality traits. I'm quick tempered, often ready 2 fight, been called crazy by my peers countless times but I am trying 2 change my ways, watch my temper & focus more on having a good time & walking away instead of always smashing someone's face in. I have a heart tho & I do have the potential for redemption. Omar was funny cuz he spoke barely above a whisper. That was his natural tone lol.

I felt so sorry for Omar White towards the end of the series. I mean, he truly was a guy who wanted to change for the better, but as with everyone, fucking Oz (the prison) wouldn't let him. Yeah, and I thought he did a pretty good job singing, too.
