The Gemini Program is my favorite of all US manned space programs, from an engineering standpoint. It proved all the theories and procedures needed to make a moon landing possible. The Gemini spacecraft was the most awesome-looking of all...and I'm a Gemini, too...

They skipped over the part where Gemini 6 fired up for about a second and shut down and Wally Shirra kept his cool and didn't fire the ejection seats (an action that would have probably killed the crew as well as the US space program.) Balls of steel!

@uzimodem What about all the amazing work done with rovers on Mars, Kepler, Dawn and a long list of other projects? NASA is doing impressive and important work with very limited resources, and we are almost everywhere in the solar system.

So ESA, JAXA, the Indian Space Program guys, the Soviets, none of them disputed the spacewalk - they all have destroyed cred too? Why is it no-one but some youtubers are calling this out?

The Russians never called out the faked Freedom 7 or Apollo missions either. They faked their damn missions earlier on in the space race as well. One cosmonaut has been caught lying for Apollo stating the Russians tracked Apollo all the way to the moon and back which is an impossibility.

Bonus points if you can figure out why!
