  • agh, i need this music!! where did you get it?

  • this is from batman.. the dark knight..

  • really nice!

what type of paper did u use to print on? and what's the aluminum foil for?

  • It's not my video, I just uploaded it, but the guy in the video is using the tinfoil for the glue. He put the glue on the tinfoil and than he put it on the papercraft with a toothpick to be more preciser.

He is useing normal printing paper, but photo paper would be better ;)

  • oh ok. Thanks for the reply! ^^ i think i'll use regular paper cuz for me photo paper is hard to fold on the smaller parts.

  • I would recommend using Cardstock for a project this size. It's a bit tougher to cut and fold, but it's also a lot sturdier, but light. You can find it in Wal-Mart for like... $6. DO NOT buy it in a craft store. They rip you off big time...

  • @ronairis - hi, I've built this model too. Btw, awesome time lapse from the OP. Nice that he DL links both versions also, I built the original. May I offer a response? I used a light weight 60 lb. cardstock. For detail or smaller parts I use around a 30 lb. bond paper sometimes. I assume the foil is just to hold the Elmers glue he uses with toothpicks. I do the same thing, because as the glue dries if your "glue puddle" gets too sticky on say paper the fibers can get messy in the glue, imho.

  • @ciefish another question: I'm about to print this, but I was wondering about the size of the paper sheet. is it Letter size or tabloid size? I wouldn't want to end up with a small castle D:< And I can't seem to find the answer anywhere! thank u so much in advance!

  • did you use regular printing paper for this ?

or did you use thicker paper ??

also, what's the alu for ?

nice job though :) looks ace

  • May I ask what the aluminum was for? XD

And this looks cool, by the way! (:

  • why the theme song of batman

  • because it sounds good ;)

  • 72 hours o_O dunno if i want to attempt this after all
