BI2016 I dont know where you got your prices from, but you are way the hell off. A 135I goes for the same price as the US market. There is something called currency conversion in the world.

@SFWARDOG ..I know your probably not aware of anything outside of the US, typica! but in Austraila , where I live for example, a 135i goes for $85k AUD...which equates to around $95k USD.. most of Asia is similar to this..while a 335i is around $115-125k AUD, hence making a compelling arguement as to why one would choose the far cheaper 135i....the 1m is now going for $115k drive away...not worth it in our market! In comparison an M3 is $170k here ...so both 135i and 1m are notably less

I am a 328i owner and I know that the 328 is a very nice car, but the 3 series is so famous and successful isn't because of my car but the 335 (to a large amount) and the M3. I have never driven the 335 but I could almost feel how the car responds and the twin-scroll turbo just lures me so much but I have a tight budge at around 40K (still a student) and my parents would want stuff like nav and heated seats on the car so paying an extra 8k (from 328 to 335) just to get that engine is too much

I have always been a Porsche girl, but after driving my daughter's 128i manual I decided to test a 135i and a 335i. I am a small car girl so chose the 135i with the DCT. What an awesome car! Fast is an understatement and it handles like a dream. The only thing better would be an M-3 but in this economy the 135 i DCT will definitely give it a run for the money!

the 135 is my favorite bmw. i work at a bmw store and get to drive them all. every new one and it is very fun. other than the m3 of course, it is one of the best sports cars bmw makes.

great car....and from what i see and read, you are into performance, so i don't get why you would get the automatic. yeah, its still fast, but doesn't feel as fast as the manual.

i drove both cars before i bought the 135i. the 135i feels way more explosive while pulling off. the exo's racing seats are so uncomfortable and is very limited with adjustments. in the 135i u can set the seat electronically for when you want to get spirited and then make it comfortable again after you are done.

135i for sure, i test drove both and was much happier with the 135i. plus the 4 year/50k mile warrenty is nice too.

Both 335i and 135i are great cars... I do think in the US the 135i has been priced out of the market as its barely $5k cheaper than its bigger brother. But in markets like Australia ,Asia or Europe where the 135i is around $80k to the 335is $120k... things start to make sense.

I dont live in Europe, Im Australian...and here we gut thoroughly ripped off! A 135i as previously mentioned, costs aroun $85-90k AUD...so about $65-70k euros.... and The 335i and 1m are around the $120k mark... naturally, one can spec a 135i up to 1m standards for alot cheaper than buying one... the M3 is around $170k... 911s are around $230-$250k for example..... Unlike in the US, a Pizza boy cant drive an m3 :) !

Driving an M3 in the states is like having a Golf GTI here

Aston Martin?!? What kind of comparison is that? The cheapest new Aston Martin, the V8 Vantage, goes for just under FIVE TIMES the price of a base 135i. And for that, you lose 2 seats and 8-10 MPG and gain a whole.. 80bhp.

If you're OK with spending six figures on your car, there are way better choices than either the 135i or the Vantage V8. If you're spending less, Aston Martin isn't even in the game.

It was at a roll at 30mph. Mild moddied MazSpd3 vs my all stock 335i No, by about 1 car length or so. I was surprised by how it could keep up.
