not exactly reLated to windows 98, but can I have a link to the wallpaper you use in other videos? ( the kinda purple one on your main desktop ). thanks, I would be greatly appreciated!
Can you legally get this retro OS for free? Is it considered abandon ware yet? Just wouldn't mind trying it for lols. Don't want to pirate when I do that though.
@ryebread761 In answer to your first question, no. In answer to your second question, there is no edition of Windows that's abandon-ware because Microsoft never technically abandoned it but rather just stopped supported it on a proper end-of-life schedule. The easiest way to run Windows 98 legally is to find an old computer box that has the Windows 98 Product Key sticker on the side. Technically, if you use that on one key on one hard drive, that's legal as far as Microsoft is concerned.
@pcmedianet Does the Windows Update website still work on Windows 98? and if not, how would I get the updates that were made for Windows 98?

@pfindan It's on the pcmech.com site, just search for wallpaper there and you'll find it.

I still have Win 3.1, 3.11, Win 95, Win 98, Win 98 Second Edition, Win ME on discs!
Win 3.1 and 3.11 are on floppies.
