She is the only reason why I started liking country to begin with. I've been a fan of her since her Idol CD with Inside Your Heaven and Independence Day was released and I just love her. @ilovebubblebears There are a lot of talented song writers who create paasionate & poinant lyrics. But they don't sing them because they don't have the technique. The only reason Taylor can is because she's beautiful. If she wasn't attractive she'd never be allowed near the microphone. And just a side note. Carrie has written several personal lyrics on her albums. Ever heard of Mama's Song, So Small, Temporary Home, What Can I Say or All-American Girl? All from Carrie's own heartfelt experiences

The only reason why no one really talks about Carrie's lyrics is because her voice is the key to her success (from American Idol). I have to say that Carrie is the one with the singing vocals and Taylor has her natural and beautiful tone as well. They are both successful country stars.

@amyhearts2sing I have no problem with her voice being center stage. It's spectacular. But many people forget these fantastic notes she's hitting also come from a personal experience. That should be given credit. As for Taylor. Sorry, I've yet to hear a performance where her voice sounded "natural & beautiful". If you could point me in the direction of one. I'll gladly give it a shot.
