I'm sure that chely1183 was actually studying during study hours, plus, when he was in a passageway (even during study hours), I'm sure he wore his cover. I'm also sure chely1183 was braced up whenever he was chopping in the passageway. Of course, this video is part of the Age of Rempt -- what is plebe year? Need I say more.

I can't tell if that's sarcasm or what. Regardless of that being said I respect the old guys because the 2000's guys had it easier than the 90's guys, and the 90's easier than the 80's, 80's than the 70's and so forth. Also, unfortunately or not, most of the old guys didn't have the "distraction" of good (and bad) looking women there.

Sarcasm? I consider it simply as stating a well-founded presumption -- study hours use to be used for study. My understanding was that in recent years, i.e., Rempt years, there was no such thing as study hours, but simply any time to work out.

don't be so quick to judge "mando study hours". it was mando study from 2000 onwards. it was MIDSHIPMEN who said, "hey my studying is done, let me be an officer and be responsible for my own time work out when I can, be it 2115 or whatever." I can tell you as an officer in GWOT today, working out has proven much more useful than studying Chem 2.

Also, who do you classify as "old guys"? As for which classes had it more difficult, remember that in the late 70s, Capt Jack Darby was the Dant. "Capt Jack" was the midshipmen's (and plebe's) best friend. Even most grads from back then will acknowledge that fact -- so don't always assume that everyone from the 1970s had it that hard.

As for the women . . . in the age of political correctness, certain terms of endearment have become verboten -- and they even changed the name of the uniforms.
