The level of thinking that these people reached, like Ibnou Sina or Ibn Rushd, makes Europe look like a third world country. Ibn Rushd succeeded to unite all religions and make people live in peace. Europe can't do it, Ibn Rushd already did. Who is the ignorant ? and what country really should be called a third world country ? check Ibn Rushd if you do not believe.
islam never force someone to be a muslim it's also written in quraan when muslims enter any county they never force the the citizens to convert to islam
@9s3ooob its unbelievable how ignorant some people can get, have you no shame? of course Islam was made to be accepted by force with the Persians. we already were the leading civilization in the world thousands of years before Islam. God send the quran to the arabs because you were a barbaric people whom didn't know how to lead life properly, you buried your own baby daughters because you thought the birth of a female was shameful to the family.
@real4champions ALLAH Says in holy quran:" No compulsion in Islam." There are millions of Arabic and Persian christians and jews living today, if islam was forced upon them then they would have been muslims by now. You have to be a shah lover, if you love him so much then bury yourself next to his grave.Arabs at that time buried their daughters but believed in the God of Abraham but Persians at that time thought fire was god(pretty retard if u ask me),both were lost and needed Islam
@bestplaya001 im a believer in islam and will fight for it now that i am a muslim but persians were never the ones that needed islam, we already believed in one god 'ahura mazda'. yes its true that persians were also fire worshippers, thats because in persia everyone had the right to believe in what they wanted to. maybe islam isn't forced on people the way it was 1000 years ago because of the instant media coverage, Saudi knows it will get run over like ghadafi and mubarak if they do.
Respond to this video... The first act made by the arabs when entering persia was to kill as many people as possible the spread fear and destruction. Recorded history states that ' so many persian citizens were killed that a river was formed with the flowing blood', google it.
@9s3ooob his work was in arabic because the language was forced on te persians just like the religion islam. In those dark days when an individual spoke in a language other then arabic his/her tongue was cut off. On what evidence do you claim ibn sina to be Arabic? search it up on any website or any book and you will observe that he was a persian/tajik born and raised in balkh, which at the time was in persia, thousands of miles away from saudi arabia.
@9s3ooob the fact the he was Muslim has nothing to do with what he achieved in his life. he would have been the same person if he was a christian, bhudist or if he had no religion for that matter.
@real4champions The fact he is Muslim, goes against all those Muslim haters claim that Islam is uncivilized religion. When in fact, Muslim scientists flourished under Islamic ruling.
@bestplaya001 Yes you are correct if you look at it that way. its very unfortunate that we dont have present day muslims like ibn Cena walking around today. Persians sometimes get provoked because ibn Cena is persian and his culture had a lot more influence in his works then his religion did. religion and culture are two separate matters not to be mixed with each other.
@real4champions During these time, these dynasties were Islamic first and foremost. How can you proof that his culture was more influential than his religion? Now am not denying that culture plays important role and nothing wrong with that but I feel that there is people who use Ibn Cena to promote racism superiority when in fact Ibn Cena in his books acknowledges Islam and during that time there was no nationalism or racism and that's what made these empires great because everyone contributed.
I don,t like when they change people,s name specially important people. He was called Abo Ali Sina or Ibn Sina that, all you can not just make up a name because you can not pronunce is. avicenna is wrong.

@maniijeh because in Islam, there is no difference between an Arab and a non Arab. During Islamic Empire, most of the residents of these empire were muslims and spoke arabic. Most arabs today are not originally Arabs but got arabized. Most americans are not americans but got americanized. He is a Muslim scientist that every muslim is proud of. And if you want to know where he is really from, he is actually from Uzbekistan.
@bestplaya001 I am persian so you do not need to introduce abu ali sina to me. I know about him far better than you do. beside islam is nothing that we can be proud of. okkkk don,t send me anymore nonesence and keep ur religious stuff to yourself.
Avicenna was born c. 980 in Afshana, near Bukhara, the capital of Samanids, a Persian dynasty in Central Asia and Greater Khorasan. His father was from Balkh, in present-day Afghanistan!
Respond to this video... Samanids was an ISLAMIC EMPIRE. Had nothing to do with nationalism and racism and thats what made these empires so great. They followed Islamic ruling which promoted Islam teachings and it was called ISLAMIC GOLDEN AGE. If it was a nationalistic empire (aka persian empire) then it would have collapsed because it ruled over many non persian tribes and ethnicities. Persian culture had an influence but they were ISLAMIC FIRST AND FOREMOST (vs Ancient Persian Empire)

Exactly i used to think whites were responsible for most of everything today. Sure the Greeks theorized, BUT they never experimented to prove their theories right or wrong. It was the Muslims who with the light of Islam , the teachings of the Quran went and proved many greek theories wrong and right. May Allah bring back Muslims to the Siraatal mustaqeem. Western nations have placed corrupt leaders into muslim lands , divided and conquered.
Ibn Sina had some great acheivements in fields of science and medicine. But his philosophical works wer refuted by Al-Ghazali (1058-1111) and wer not taken seriously in mainstream muslim scholarship apart from a few who felt neo platonism was the answer to eveything.
@ali12147 Don't be single-minded, Al-Ghazali was one of the most suspicious scholars in the history of Islam. And his book Incoherence of Philosophers has a lot of suspicions about philosophers, and was destroyed by Averroes in his book Incoherence of Incoherence.
I dont see how i was single minded, I just stated facts. You may agree more with Ibn Rushd but in reality Al-Ghazali was and is accepted far more then Ibn Rushd in mainstream Islamic thought. Also I have no idea of what your trying to imply by saying he was 'suspicious'.
@ali12147 Incoherence of Philosophers holds some thoughts which are against the Quran itself, like believing that Allah is a body, and other ill-structured philosophical concepts. And when Ibn Rushd answered and destructed all Al-Ghazali's suspicions, scholars (Especially the Salafi scholars) ignored his book irrationally. Besides, Al-Ghazali had something against Imam Ali, and you can find that frequently in The Revival of Religious Sciences.
What an earth are you talking about, now youve just shown you havent got a clue. All your points are false and you seriously need to do some research. Are u shia, you must be shia i think.
@ali12147 Apparently, you haven't studied Incoherence of Philosophers, or you have just read it without understanding what Al-Ghazali, or what the philosophers said. And instead of stating that my points are false, you can answer my suspicions with evidences.
If you made one point which was slightly incorrect i would love to refute it, but nearly everything you said was false so it just shows its a waiste of time.
He was known as Avicenne Bactriane , bactriane used to be habitants of Bactria in actual Balkh of afghanistan known as One of the province of grec when king in afghanistan used to be a grec his name Helauctus if I didnt forget to spell it right, His mother was born in balkh as well and ethnically uzbek, and father and grand fathers born in balkh pure tajik and afghan, so persians can chill out.
Actually, being racist and possessive doesn't get us to no where.. let's just say that if we all die we all end eaten by worms and back to dirt. Avicenna is a model on the aspect of what he was great of and not of what he wasn't. May he be islam or christian or whatever, the thing is he didn't touch that aspect either. Even if he had some bad things like wine and girls but what the heck..at least it wasn't drugs and Homosexuality (on the brighter side LOL) he was HUMAN..so quit bitting guys
He´s a Muslim, thats important and he´s not white. He is One of Us not one of yours.Without us all white people would still be in the Stone age now, they stole everithing from us and destroyed our Islamic World since Hundreds of years, now they call us Animals and Terrorists...
I think a lot needs to be done to raise awareness of the prodigious contribution Muslim scientists and philosophers made one the world. The west is largely unaware just how great it was. I am fully convinced there would be no Renaissance in Europe without it.
The first thing you should do is to stop thinking like a collectivist, he is not one of yours he is an individual, he doesnt belong to anybody. What made this time in the Ismalic world great was the fact that they rediscovered greek thought. Europe, on the other hand, was drowning in a sea of christianity, it went to the stoneage. Then the reverse happend, the middle east is drowning in a sea of islam and is in the stoneage. What the middl4 east needs now is to accept reason and to reject faith.
He was a brilliant man and his own person. He did not represent or belong to a religion any more than Leonardo da Vinci did. He would be appalled at the behaviour and ignorance of so many fundamentalist Muslims today. Nobody can destroy you but yourselves by your own actions. Model yourselves on his brilliance and achievements not the resentments of ignorance and envy.
Yes you are right, we have to wipe off the traces of colonialism and get back to our brilliant roots, but first your Armys have to go out of our Countries and Israel have to leave in peace the Countries in his environment, that are ambitious, and should not bomb everyone down, who is aspiring. And the Palesinians need a own land on limits on the 1967, Israel should exist, we cant undo it, but it can oly exist on the limits of 1967, thats the only solution.
@ChristinaC2211 u seem to have understood what is important being a good humanbeing, what ever origin u have. Keep on thinking ....... do not let these ignorents stop u
Its amazing how muslims like to gloat over the acheivements of their forefathers while sitting at home. Imam Rumi said 'Do not marvel at the stories of others, rather make your own story'
Dear rockey12hb. You consider yourself as a muslim and prase your origin. I do not know your backgronund , but for me you semm to be an ignorent and narrowminded person. Wake up ......................... Good luck shafeeq from Pakistan and trying to be a good muslim
@rocky21hb I can understand your frustrations, but you are wrong to make this a racial thing. What made Muslims great was fusion, a fusion of many different cultures and flow of knowledge of these cultures and nepotism was discouraged. What made us lose that glory is abandonment of those principles. Look around what you see, I as an professional has better chance of getting a job in America and treated fairly then I have in Saudi Arabia. Till we change this we are going to be riding back of bus.
@rocky21hb your religion, is a personal choice. the fact is that he was tayik. you cant name ibn sina as "musleem", you must call him as khorasani or tayik.
Sure, blame the illuminate and freemason. That still proves nothing.
What have you done with your life to help humanity?? that is the true core belief of Jesus Christ and the wise words spoken by Ibn Sina. We are all Gods creation. Let the past be the past. Forget what you make up about the future for only God knows the future. Let the present be the present and let us, help each other as brothers. Peace be with you. God Bless.
well to be completely honest, as a believer and science student at university, everything that the philosophers and scientists have taught in the past completely opposes the core fundamental teachings of Jesus Christ, the only thing that doesn't is Metaphysics which Avicenna contributed a great deal lot to.
@pulman7 It sounds like you're looking for truth. The truth i can give you is to believe nothing but the word of God from the Quran. believe no one but that and lead yourself.
I am Christian. But make it clear, I only believe in God and nobody leads me, I lead myself. I have my own culture and my own people as well as my strong faith. I don't believe in Conspiracy Theories about Illuminate or Freemason like other people with strong faith.I am my own man and look to no to blame but myself not being able to make a difference. This is what separates a leader and follower. I'm a leader. I lead myself before I lead anyone else. Avicenna was leader. what are you?
@pulman7 I do believe in God. My body and your body is the Temple of God. God lives through me and the choices and actions I make in life by following his instruction. When I dont follow Gods laws, I follow the devils law. The devil also lives in me in the wrong choices I make in life - that is not what God asks. So as the Quran states that if I take the life of an innocent person, to me personally it is as if I have killed the whole world because this is not what God made me to do.
@pulman7 I don't believe superstitious folk treatments and conspiracies, I believe in wisdom and am a lover of knowledge, I challenge you to look into and find out about metaphysics and philosophy, this is the root of all science. i'm fascinated by Avicenna, Plato, Aristotle, Emmanuel Kant, Isaac Newton, Heraclitus, I love the Renaissance, I read more than just the bible, I use the gift of knowledge that God gave. but don't get me wrong, I will never back down from a fight.
@pulman7 That is true the Judaism was not the word used in the time of Abraham. Yah-weh or Allah is God that has been taken from the Canaanite Gods he may possibly have been from the Storm God known to ancient Canaanites as Baal from around 2000B.C long before Abraham.
@pulman7 haha, I know at the bottom of your heart you only wish to defend God brother. And in my view, that is the only thing worth defending. Muslims are not the rulers of the world, nor are Christians or Jews, there is only ONE ruler and that is Allah.
@pulman7 I'm wasting my time typing to you. You don't speak for all Muslims, you speak for your own personal views, I have friends who are strict Muslims and don't share your extreme fascists views. You don't believe in peace. You don't see that Avicenna is a scientist. Science in Latin means 'knowledge'. Avicenna is a man of knowledge.
@pulman7 listen to yourself talking about all the world coming from the middle east and all muslims being rulers of the world. you are not a man of knowledge but a man of pride, i am still talking to you because I want to question your pride and what you value in life? you draw a circle around all muslims and love and protect only them, as Christians the gospels teaches us draw a circle around the world and love and protect all in including our enemies. of course not all Christians do this.
@LASALLIONSTALLION i just try to help the people who is nice and wana know !
2:102] They pursued what the devils taught concerning Solomon's kingdom. Solomon, however, was not a disbeliever, but the devils were disbelievers. They taught the people sorcery,
Islam isnt about racism, you idiot, every race on Earth has contributed something to the world. i.e Gravity, who found out about that? Thats right, a white person, Isaac Newton.
Also, Avicenna's philosophy was based off of Aristotle's, he was white too.
Stop with the race hate, it makes you look stupid.
Also, it should be realized, that ever since the conquest of Iran, Caliphs and their Arab retinues had a real fear of Iranian uprising and national resurgence and so they were very much against listening to anything of interest in the domain of science and philosophy coming from Iranians, and so the latter were always forced to present themselves and their ideas behind the screen of Greek philosophers in order to bring their own theories and views to be heard.
According to the Greek tradition, Zoroaster patronised a series of sciences in Greece, such as asrtology, botany and alchemy. The reason behind this attribution is that in pre-Islamic Iran, science grew in the shadow of the Zoroastrian fire-temples and individuals did not imprint their names upon each new discovery or invention. All these were collected and kept in the libraries attached to the fire-temples, and ...
Periscien, who was one of the six Greek philosophers who came as refugees to Iran in 529 A.D., wrote the following revealing words in the preface of the book he especially prepared for Khosrow I, (Anushirvan): "When I present to you this philosophical book I have done nothing but to offer you a fruit that I have gleaned from your own garden. It is in the same fashion that people make a sacrifice to Gods from among their own creatures."
We Iranians must reclaim our scientists before everyone else does. Scientists such as; Ibn Sina (Avicenna ), Biruni, Razi, Farabi, Khawarizmi, Nasr Mansur , Buzjani, Birjandi, Farisi, Jurjani, Kashi, Nasawi, Tusi, Aufi, Balkhi, Geber, ... and others
@recalcitrant100 iranians? what? iranians from iran, or the iranic people? if youre talking about the modern iran state, you should know that biruni, ibn sina, khwarezmi, juzjani, balkhi, farabi,... etc. weren from the modern iran.
Italian scholar Aldo Mieli says: "The principle part of Arab science of the Orient is created by the Persians. Without any possible contestation, in fact it is to Persia that belongs the best names of these greatest of Savants such as Razi, Avicenna and Biruni. Why not say that he was a Persian?
Because the society in which these men resided was more of an islamic society. The culture that these men where boughtup in was an islamic culture which encouraged learning, yes they wer from persia, but the values and social order was based on islam. So islam was without doubt the dominant system which nurtured these men as opposed to 'persian culture'.
@drako1228: Persians are Persians. Persians are not white, although they are closer to the Aryans.... you wouldn't call Indians (north Pakistanis, Indians & Bangladeshis) white would you? Bc the same Aryans came and settled in these regions and mixed with the people.
dude, iranians are indo-iranian which migrated from central west asia, modern russia and khasakistan, and some from germany, iranians are aryan, the name of our country iran means land of the aryans

Are u shia, you must be shia i think.
ali12147 1 year ago
@ali12147 Apparently, you haven't studied Incoherence of Philosophers, or you have just read it without understanding what Al-Ghazali, or what the philosophers said. And instead of stating that my points are false, you can answer my suspicions with evidences.
And yes, I am a Shia'i.

I think a lot needs to be done to raise awareness of the prodigious contribution Muslim scientists and philosophers made one the world. The west is largely unaware just how great it was. I am fully convinced there would be no Renaissance in Europe without it.

@rocky21hb - "One of yours"? Are you kidding me? How hypocritical are you to stereotype "white" people like that? Real Nice!
Carrieannspence 1 year ago

LASALLIONSTALLION 10 months ago

I am Christian. But make it clear, I only believe in God and nobody leads me, I lead myself. I have my own culture and my own people as well as my strong faith. I don't believe in Conspiracy Theories about Illuminate or Freemason like other people with strong faith.I am my own man and look to no to blame but myself not being able to make a difference. This is what separates a leader and follower. I'm a leader. I lead myself before I lead anyone else. Avicenna was leader. what are you?

do you know why there is people rich like hell and every day there is income problem in the world ?

pulman7 10 months ago
@pulman7 I do believe in God. My body and your body is the Temple of God. God lives through me and the choices and actions I make in life by following his instruction. When I dont follow Gods laws, I follow the devils law. The devil also lives in me in the wrong choices I make in life - that is not what God asks. So as the Quran states that if I take the life of an innocent person, to me personally it is as if I have killed the whole world because this is not what God made me to do.

@pulman7 That is true the Judaism was not the word used in the time of Abraham. Yah-weh or Allah is God that has been taken from the Canaanite Gods he may possibly have been from the Storm God known to ancient Canaanites as Baal from around 2000B.C long before Abraham.

What do you have to say to white Muslims?
Islam isnt about racism, you idiot, every race on Earth has contributed something to the world. i.e Gravity, who found out about that? Thats right, a white person, Isaac Newton.
Also, Avicenna's philosophy was based off of Aristotle's, he was white too.
