I have 2 cats but if cats run around outside like my neighbors cats they start to multiply uncontrollably that's how I got my 2 cats!...But anyways I have no problem cutting down the cat problem around here if you know what I mean....Those kids probably were sick of seeing a new cat everyday and took the matters into their own hands since animal control won't do shit.
