  • Very nice hunt. Love the video. It's Great!

  • what state are you in??

  • @GAbuckhunters27 I am in Ontario, Canada.

  • what you shot with?

  • Nicely done! There's nothing quite so enjoyable as early season wood duck hunting before it turns cold!

  • what would a hunter do without his penis...oh sorry, i mean his gun?

  • @Kanzelschubser Thanks for watching. Your negative and irrelevant comment neither adds or subtracts to the conversation or activity of hunting. I appreciate the fact that you watched the video; thanks. Take care.

  • @Kanzelschubser He'd slap you with it

  • You need a dog with that vegation

  • No dogs to collect the birds?

  • sick in bed, thanks for keeping me occupied!

  • how do you find them so easy

  • @15snowmaker It's not easy. If you do have creeks just sit on on in the morning and see what happens. Last creek I hit because I was goose hunting just before duck season and saw a lot of woodies heading to a creek, went to hunt it and shot a limit.

  • i hope there is skill transfer in this world...

if that happen... will u transfer your skill to me.. ?

  • This is probably the best duck hunting video I've watched in the last 3 days of being cooped up sick in bed. Good footage, sensible, responsible shooting, complimentary music and great surroundings. Greetings from Galway, Ireland. Happy hunting.

  • @mickeylong1 Thanks Mikey, appreciated. I am originally from Wexford, moved over to Canada in 88. Happy hunting, and get better.

  • @canadianwingshooter Credit where it's due is all, I'll be posting a few once I get out and about. Nice to see a 20g out too! I did see the videos in Ireland in the strawberry county but this is the best one by far. It's a pity we don't get Wood Duck over here, lovely bird with an interesting nesting behavior. I'll be right as rain this time next week stalking ponds, i'll make a video If I get good footage, the camera's a cheap one, gopro on shopping list!

  • @mickeylong1 I am looking forward to seeing your videos, I have subscribed to your channel. The wood duck is certainly a pretty duck, good table fare and an excellent wingshooting challenge too. Some of my friends are coming over again this year, as they have for the past four or five years, they enjoy hunting over here. I will be back in ireland this year too, not sure when though so I may not be there for any of the seasons for duck or pheasant.

  • @canadianwingshooter Well with only 2 weeks left in this season I'll only have time for maybe 2/3 days out. Best of luck to you and colleagues, I look forward to the new videos. Subscribed (thought I had already)

  • only one thing...having dog would be much easier

  • Thumbs up if you think that people that are against hunting are ruining the circle of life

  • This video went viral on New Delhi

  • สุดยอดเลย

  • I love your style, you are absolutely right my man, it is not all about killing. Hunting was birthed out of need years ago and the older generation held wildlife and the natural environment in high respects. Now days with all of the dramatic, high paced hunt videos out there...many others have turned this wonderful relationship of respecting the outdoor world into a fast paced, thrill seeking, adrenaline charged shooting massacre..you however obviously respect the wildlife

  • Maybe you guys should get a "dog" :S

    - But nice hunt anyway !

  • My first duck was a woody and I love em

  • I like your style of hunting...is that johnson grass your cooped up in? Add to it...it isn't about shooting...sometimes you just gotta watch the ducks land and enjoy them....love this traditional hunt

  • @razorjosh Don't think it is Johnson grass. It's some kind of reed, don't really know for sure. It was growing in two feet of water.

  • @canadianwingshooter Yeah we have that stuff ALL over the arkansas river down here in arkansas...I remembered this video because of the tall grass and woodies...same situation down here...I like your filming man

  • @razorjosh Thanks for the comments. Have some more decent footage that I will be posting between now and Christmas. Take care and keep watching; and good luck hunting.

  • I like your style of hunting...is that johnson grass your cooped up in?

  • About to go make some take a water nap here in Louisiana

  • chasse sympathique par les cartouches vident dans l'eau ça ne le fais pas !!!

  • You crazy mentalist why would you murder indecent creatures just because you get a sick thrill out of it!

  • @joeiscoollol99 crazy mentalist? they dont get a thrill out of it you moron. they eat them

  • "it's not all about shootin and killin" I love that quote

  • this guy really loves his acorns

  • its not all about shooting and killing. i like that line good 2 kno as a fellow hunter that there are still hunters out there that enjoy the sport and appreciate the beauty of nature, and not just stupid rednecks going around blasting every animal in sight...

  • Is that a super pose shotgun or a bereta?...cause i have the super pose!

    and AMAZING VIDEO,WELL DONE!! :)

  • @Lukos340 It's a Mirouki 20 bore over / under. Nice gun to shoot with, and excellent upland gun.

  • i love wooodys

  • Great vid

  • awesome vid man

  • duck hunting opens tomorrow here in wisconsin i checked my spot today there are wood ducks and teal everywhere i cant wait lol.....

  • :36 Its not all about shootin and killin....GREAT line, hunters need to respect and enjoy nature even if it means no kill, way to give a positive outlook on us hunters....great video

  • @Frankster148 It depends what state you're in. In Michigan it's 3, but it varies from state to state. They're an awesome bird!

  • i love hunting!<3

  • Why dont you get a gundog..?

Labrador or spaniel, save your legs

  • Gay !

  • Turns out they weren't acorns....yeah..

  • maby keep your saftey off

  • that fool's doing magic tricks at the end teach me how to do that

  • Thanks I got some woody's near by but we dont do anything for them. I hope to get my friends involved in supporting these beautiful birds.

  • That's not the gizzard, that's the crop. The gizzard is inside the body cavity.

  • this reminds me of my grandfather, he was a sharpshooter...i love duck meat. it taste just yummy.

  • 1:30 - Don't forget gun safety.

  • i like how you "unloaded" the duck at the end

  • Hunters are sure to fall on the operating table - the heart blood vessels - in most cases. Spine, atherosclerosis, etc. Look at the statistics and frightened, you go outside to hunt, feed and animal.

  • Medžiotojai būtinai patenka ant operacinės stalo--širdies kraujagyslės--dažniausiai. Stuburo slankstelai, aterosklerozė ir t.t. Panagrinėkit statistiką ir išsigandę eisit ne medžioti ,o šerti žvėrelius.

  • are you the guy from everybody loves raymond??? :} just kidding good hunting guys!!!!!

  • I love the part were you squeezed the fuck out of the ducks and out comes a acorn! Haha

  • in soviet russia its man hunting season for ducks

  • This is still one of my favorite duck videos because it is calm & matter-of-fact.

(I don’t care for the theatrical, drama/opera queen duck videos or the energy-drink, heavy metal rock concert duck videos)

  • where u guys huntin

  • i get that a lot wit the smaller ducks. ive gotter doubles on woodies and hooded mergies. wouldnt be rare wit buffies or ruddys too. also woodies fly close together too. and late in the season i got mallards wit their gizzards full of acorns.

  • last week i got 2 wood ducks in 1 shot

  • This video was out the day before my Birthday

  • Next time put the empty cartridge in your pocket.

  • at the beginning of the video...... the empty cartridge in the water !!!!! good video but .....

  • yall did some good shouting

  • LIke he says, "It's not always about shooting and killing". I'm 17, and I've killed my share of ducks, but this season I got to see a couple of buddies kill their first ducks and I was recording. I could care less if I'm killing ducks or not, but if I'm out there having fun with friends and spending time with my dad and brother, that's alright with me.

  • @fmgton12 @fmgton12 You could not be more correct. We try to take kids with us as much as possible. I would rather set my gun down and help or watch them then shoot myself.

  • Its hard to beat a good Woodie hunt. That is 95% of what we shoot. Great shooting and a good looking pond yall have there.

  • Not as cool as the original Nintendo version though.

  • its not all about shooting and killing.................good shooting. classic line 0:34

  • 1:28 the exact reason i prefer hunting bigger puddles

  • Y is killing still legal?

  • @iisdan if you do not like hunting why look it up on youtube

  • these guys are a bunch of sissies. they can't put up a fight for anything. they're such a bunch of losers that they have to shoot defenseless birds and do get satisfaction out of it. what LOSERS! If they weren't losers, they'd be shooting at something that can shoot back -- now that would be a real challenge. But as I said . . . they're sissies and losers.

  • @donluna2000 Hunting is a part of heritage. Not just of Americans or Canadians but of all mankind. I hate to say this to anyone, but you sir are uneducated. These men are hunters, and hunters are the best wild life conservationist. Without the hunter the ecosystem is overloaded by animal population. As a result animals run out of their own resources and start delving into the human food supplies and begin to spread disease. These men take the tag amount which is what is allowed by G&PC, no more.

  • @donluna2000 How you have even gotten two thumbs up shows how uninformed the general population is. These animals are not hunted to extinction as most "environmentalist" would say. They are hunted to a controllable population. It is a wonderful thing to hunt, not only is the hiking to location a good means of exercise, but it also allows us to touch base with untamed nature. To point them out as "sissies" and "losers" is to have three fingers pointing back at yourself.

  • good shot like

  • they are so nice that you should keep killing the drakes..."wow so nice" *BAM*

  • why u killing poor duckies :(

  • Comment removed

  • have you a browning barasingha?

  • @jesusantonioxtr128 No. The shotgun in this video is a 20 bore Miroku

  • He needs a dog!

  • BEST hunting video I've ever seen. Captures the important things while other videos focus the action. I've only shot one wood duck, a drake when I was five during teal season. Whoops... Might mount a drake with some acorns at his feet.

  • good to see people respecting the hunt ,, and i liked when he said its not all about the killing its so true

  • what's that 20 gauge over-under that you use? Is it a browning or i am mistaken?

  • I love wood ducks, I also find alot of acorns in them!

  • Woodies! One of the best game animals to hunt .... and most ADDICTIVE!

  • GETTA DOG<U WILL SAVE LOTZ OF ENERGY!

  • Last year i killed a woddie with seven acorns down its throat and one with an acorn still in its bill

  • nice clear video and site

  • Awesome shots.

  • A wood duck has always been my favorite duck because they are a challenge to hit they are beautiful and they taste better than any other duck

  • why won't use shoot ducks in the water for fun?

  • what company made your over and under?

  • @canadianwingshooter This was a very nice video, not frantic killing and shouting like some, just a quiet hunt.

  • "it's not all about shootin and killin" couldn't have said it better myself.

  • nice dude

    and nice shots

  • you need a dog bro.

  • AY

  • thats so wierd that they use such big eggcorns, cool vid

  • Im 15 and i hunt in a small private pond in bishopville south carolina and I just killed my first duck this season and it was a beautiful drake woodie and I'm going to get it mounted

  • could anyone please tell me how in the high hell one can hunt in england? im only 15 years old and live in southern england, kent... i love any form of bird hunting, whilst doing it twice in the south of france but in england doesnt seem like theres so much luck :/ its sad how conserving they are oever here, and any help would really be appreciated. so far the only way ive heard of is via going on somebody's land by an invitation and doing hunting on their farm :(

  • Great hunt guys!!! We hunt a small private lake that's loaded with nesting woody's in September and October but by opening day they're all gone. This is the 4th year we've hunted that lake and havent killed a single one. Early teal season in September is awesome to watch the woody's buzz the blind. Every time we shoot at teal hundreds of woody's jump out of the lilly pads circle a few times and drop right back in. Love it!

  • 2:40 wayy to high shoulda called him in u have to WORK a duck

  • @jeffx247xgrz why do you have to come here and start an argument and if u have never hunted you dont know what its like so dont refer to us as "pussys" you dont know us and were doing more good that evil to the environment because without us hunters alot of the marketing industry would have no product to sell and the population would flood and god knows what would happen then so just stop causing mayhem and leave us be..

  • great video I loved it I am also a big duck hunter

  • wood ducks are the prettiest ducks there are

  • Really enjoyed that ! here in england were all about conservation aswell :)

  • @PeZAiSahUnTEr Good stuff. i just filmed a TV show in southern Ireland this year, wood pigeon and duck, it will look great. Keep it up.

  • i m from pakistan .i m looking ur vidio.nice is well.can u tell what is ur gun model and company and berall lenth......................i like ur gun

  • @bewithyou110 it is a 20 gauge Miroku. Single trigger select, I think it is a 28" barrel. Hope this helps.

  • @canadianwingshooter i shoot a 20 gauge skb made for ithica model 100 and jus this moring i limited out in a nice lil hole in south carolina third time this year we've been tearin it up

  • why dont u have dogs?

  • only pussies hunt!

  • @jeffx247xgrz Thank you, much appreciated.

  • @jeffx247xgrz yes because we want to keep the natural order of things in the world and provide for our familys, get a life dumb ass

  • @jeffx247xgrz ur a fucking idiot u tree hugging faggot

  • @jeffx247xgrz you are the pussy for not knowing how to hunt. its the best

  • @jeffx247xgrz your a pussy little wimp ass bitch from chicago, nobody gives a fuck about you, little bitch ass motherfucker. only pussies like you hide behind your computer post comments about things you think are politically incorrect. Fuck you and your Obama loving little faggot ass, Chicago fucking sucks ass because of Obama and little student bitches like yourself.

  • @jeffx247xgrz then why the hell did you look u the video? tree hugger.

  • nice vid its sad that the people that bring in the most money and manpower for conservation are ridiculed by people that dont know what theyre talkin about

  • nice vid its sad that the people that bring in the most money and manpower for conservation are ridiculed by people that dont know what theyre talkin about

  • why do u use an over and under just wondering

  • @506PIR101Airborne It is extremely reliable

  • @canadianwingshooter ok i use a benelli sbeII and i have found it to be the most reliable gun for waterfowl ever

  • @506PIR101Airborne It also gives the birds more of a chance because I only have two shots. My first five years of hunting I used a single barrel for the same reason.

  • @canadianwingshooter I also use a single shot because of the same reason and,it keeps you from spending too much on ammo, and i love bolt actions

  • @canadianwingshooter Are you hunting when they are coming in to feed or roost?.....i'm kind of a newbie to duck hunting

  • @kevinml1 God question, this is a roost area, we left it before the major flocks returned. As we walked out flocks of 15 and better began dropping in to where we were, felt good to leave before the roosting birds returned.

  • Is very good hunter

  • Mallards are pretty fun to shoot. I go duck hunting with my dad all the time. For shotguns, we use Benellis and we used buckshot. Its so funny when you shoot them and then the feathers go flying all over the place. Then when they fall into the water, our yellow lab retriever Kaylee goes and retrieves them. Shes a year old.

  • How could you? Ducks were not made for people to hunt! How would you like someone to hunt you?!

  • @MinnieluvsAJ god put deer on this earth for other animals to eat, its the same for us. get a life.

  • @Xiofang We don't HAVE to eat deer. Other animals do. We're not animals.

  • @MinnieluvsAJ We have carnivorous teeth, therefore we are PHYSICALLY adapted to eat other animals. but regardless if you believe me on that point, with the amount of money i have spent on licenses and equipment and taxes to hunt, i have saved many more animals from dying than those i have killed. and im sure that you have not saved ANY animals in your life, so again, until you start helping the environment more than me, get a life.

  • @Xiofang I save animals by NOT eating them. I help the environment by not eating meat and giving my money to those horrible farms. This isn't a contest over who is helping the environment more, it's helping it at all. I don't know you, I don't have to compete with you. Or perhaps you'll send me your personal info so that I can? Not, because I wouldn't.

  • @MinnieluvsAJ so if you hate hunting so much.... how the fuck did you come to watching this video and commenting on it hm? when you could be helping the world you choose to spread negativity to the few americans who still conserve wildlife. game animal populations have more than tripled due to conservation of environment from hunters money. your too lazy to do anything but complain.

  • @MinnieluvsAJ no...just no.

  • Comment removed

  • YALL NEED A DOG!

  • Good shootin.

  • cool video...i shot my first and maybe only wood duck last week. they do have huge acorns in them...its pretty crazy.
