Also why the fuck does he need to put on that suit in the pilot chamber. Why not wear your red cape over it to save time....

I think that even though the older gundams had good ideas in that it would be sort of hard to fly a mech around, this one did the mobile ability a lot more easy to follow than tapping buttons and pulling levers.
