I have to admit. SF is completely overrated. I have been to other areas in CA that I were much cooler. If I never see it again I would be okay. I would rather go to Europe. But, if we are talking only the US and specifically Cali, there are better places. It is definitely over priced.
Good, honest piece of work! Thanks! I hate the cars in the vid. Just too many! They've got beautiful cable cars, so why does everyone need to drive around in a frenzy in this city. That's what I don't like about San Francisco...not that I've ever been there. I can't imagine to exist without the convenience of public transport or accessible public places where I don't need to spend money. This town says: 'Business people come along this way and you low-lives go the other way please.' Yuck.
@annabellalamp Hello again! Yeah, it's definitely a frenzy. If you ever get a chance to check it out definitely let me know what you think! By the way... there is a ton of car congestion (and that's coming from someone who lives in Los Angeles).
I like your honest opinion about the city. Even though San Francisco, in your opinion, "doesn't know what it wants to be" does not make it overrated. I think its diversity and the kinds of people who live there make it very unique. I have only lived in San Francisco for a little over a year, and every day I find something new/interesting.
@stainedwithlove03 I definitely see what you're saying but I do think that since it doesn't know what it wants to be that it does make it overrated... simply because I hear a lot of people saying it's something it isn't. There are definitely a lot of interesting things about it. It's great you're having fun though!
I agree with @whereuandiare, great editing Yosh! Although, I think San Diego is the most overrated city, but that's just me. Look at us hating everything other than LA.
@bently42 - I appreciate the Sarcasm. But when 90% of the population is touting bikes/buses and green living - then 75% of the population promotes cars/cabs and quickness it becomes a cluster of confusion and near accidents. *Purposely Bad Math*
I'm confused... You live in L.A. Other than the weather, how are any of these things you dislike not also in L.A.? I'm from the Bay Area, so I'm sure I'm very biased, but I would say that S.F. has anything someone could want from a city. Also, why would a city having mismatching people and things be bad? That's part of the charm of any city.
@l2ic3 The things I "dislike" are definitely everywhere but specifically in LA it's a bit more spread out and I feel that LA is a aware of what it is. I didn't mean that having a mismatch is a bad thing, it's not, it just felt like SF was a bit more forced and confused with what it is. By the way - I have some friends from the Bay area who will prob. tell me the same exact thing tomorrow.
@thebigshoetv Alright, that makes sense. You're right that S.F. is very crammed together. Very diverse people all living close together. L.A. seems a lot more...segregated... although thats not the right word at all. Anyhow, thanks for the response.
FUNNY I THINK L.A. IS OVERRATED.

Dude, all those reasons you just talked about are what make it so great!!! You sure there isn't any So Cal bias taking place here?
MrSkillToe 1 month ago
@MrSkillToe I'm starting to wonder if it's subliminal California bias!

it actually hardly rains in sf.

San Francisco is overrated because it is usually lumped in with the rest of the Bay Area.
Half Moon Bay isnt San Francisco
Marin County isnt San Francisco
The Delta isnt San Francisco
I could go on and on
