  • The dude who originally made the "famous" Ted Williams video had his video removed because of "copyright infringement". Strangely, none of the 100+ news channels on YouTube who mirrored his video had it taken down.

    Talk about bullshit.

  • @an0nim0uz Actually, the famous ted williams video was shot by a news guy so if anyone else posted it on YT, they didn't own it.

  • @AngryAussie Hmm, didn't know that. Just saw that the video that was posted here first and got so many views was removed because of "copyright infringement".

So I was outraged without a legitimate reason? /sadface

But thanks for the clarification. :)

  • Whoa, I just imagined something. PETA. Banning videos. Because people are eating meat in them. :'(

  • They'd probably like to try

  • i think the world needs to work out a new way to enforce copyright laws, because right now i bet that we are all watching this and getting sick to our stomaches!!!!!

they think they are being infringed but really it is us that are being infringed!!!

    FUCK COPYRIGHT INFRIGHTMENT!!!!!

  • The current regime definitely needs to change

  • What IS Viacom? Besides somebody who lost a court case.

Did YT listen to you? I mean did they watch this video and consider what you said?

  • YouTube never listens or responds

  • That is bullshit that YouTube are doing all this crap! Speak out people and...subscribe to Teh Aussie there 8D he tells the news AS IT IS...and doesnt been the fucks out 8D

  • I think we'll be waiting a long time for YT to improve the way they handle these things

  • I would like Mr Angry to be Angry for me about the fact that British MPs are lying thieving bastards. (Jaqui Smith and Alastair Darling in particular.)

  • That's pretty much politicians around the world

  • Yeah but until now British MPs stealing from the taxpayer has been kept secret. Its actually kind of a new idea here.

'Maybe...Our polticians...ARE corrupt?!' There was this big scandal that our MPs (Both Tory and Labour) have been claiming hundreds of thousands in expenses that they get to pay for a second home near parliament if they live too far away. Jaqui (mentioned above) spent hers on plasma screen TVs and porn for her husband. No joke. Taxpayers paid for an MP's husband to watch porn.

  • i am seriously considering leaving you tube i am sick and tried of my videos being fucking deleted muted or redflaged i once had a video of my friends doing a walkthrow on a few skate boarding stunts and within 5 seconds of the video being i received a message saying you tube has removed your video after this happened i went to find out why cause my music during the intro was from a song in latvia for fucks sake like how the fuck can 1 note that matchs a song be fucking copyright ehhhhgarrrr!!!

  • They only answer is to not use copyright material

  • Yeah, I came across this one as a related video to something else. I'm sorry that happened to him, that's just bull. Now I disagree with having someone's video taken off or even muted (such as a few of mine) even if they DID attach music to it because many times we're just embellishing a near and dear memory with a song that we may have known in that part of our lives. My "Anniversary Flight" is now muted, among others, and I just think that's uncalled for!

    ...but that's just me.

  • I think they frequently do the wrong thing.

  • Shoot yeah, they do!

  • i like sosiges

  • i wounder if youtube know of this bs.

If its just some monkey from overseas just doing the orders " requests :"

    to have these videos removed.

  • YouTube puts no effort in to discovering if takedown claims are valid.

  • Yeah, no prob. I'll just take my MEANINGFUL stuff elsewhere if they're going to do that. In fact, I already have.

... can you say "David Hasselhoff"???

  • 100 fucking percent behind u, grow some balls youtube

  • There's some ridiculous bullshit going on

  • i told friend about dis and he said u can prob hear him right now when where in america lol

  • lol ur hurting my ears..

  • It's the only way to get through sometimes.

  • Respect for what you are doing, I hope you get more exposure.

    Beautiful video.

  • I hope I do too :)

  • They even disabled the audio of the song I Wanna Rock song by Twisted Sister and that song is over 20 years old... WTF? Come on now, youtube, stop doing shitty stuff.

Great video. Youtube menace needs to stop, seriously. Imagine the next thing: Youtube starts banning our accounts for no GOOD OR ANY FUCKING OBVIOUS reason... that would be a major FUBAR then. I hope that never happens, tho...

    5/5 for the video

  • It isn't YT but I agree that the policy pursued by record companies in particular makes no sense.

  • the fact still remains

YT constantly bitches on how they want a "youtube for everyone" yet they care little for their users

like you said at the end of the video

  • I think that "for everyone" line is creepy and orwellian.

  • Youtube makes me fucking sick

as of late YT has been going on a massive shitmstorm raid through their own website searching for any copyrighted material

whenever a copyright claim comes up

the YT team fuckin shiver like cowards (in fear that the big bad law suits will haunt them in the court)

instead of growing some balls and actually checking if the claim is legitimate

I swear.. if YT gets any worse I'm packing and I'm leaving for a better website

  • It isn't YT that's doing it - it's the record and movie companies.

  • 'This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by WMG.' this is the shit YouTube is pulling that pisses me off at the moment

Recently some have the audio blocked with this message (just the audio) one had this ((which had no audio to begin with ((HTF)) dose that work

  • ERRRM I own the copyright to that back ground style XD XD XD

  • It wouldn't surprise me for someone to make that claim

  • yea i saw this video and it got taken down for no apparent reason at all it got me really mad becuase the company that took it down had nothing to do with the video

  • that mask makes you look like ur about to cry or something. XD, i agree; Viacom is just abusing their power.

  • They are actually breaking the law.

  • Yeah, I hate how if a company gets in trouble, if they are big enough, can get off just because they have money.

  • It's all about money

  • imagine if one of YOUR videos got taken down by viacom, we would be in for the angriest video you've ever made!

  • I think that's a safe bet

  • the angry mask is on..

    brace yourself.

  • I say with all confidence that pretty soon every video will have some sort of copywrite law put against it, in the future there will be no youtube there will be no video sites and the web will have less users which means more internet comapanies will shut down which means more people will lose theyre jobs and the world will stay at a stand still, people who say money doesnt make the world go round need to wake up. Its the only thing keeping this world spinning

  • Money does tend to run things.

  • I know this is an old video, and I know I've commented on this kind of subject before but it's really interesting how history repeats itself. How many times can these people beat the same horse over and over, before the horse is finally dead. And for Youtube and Viacom, it will be dead by the contempt they've given us. I'm just laughing at this obsence, sense of repetition.

  • THis is an ongoing thing.

  • ur right i had 2 take down a ''stop animal abuse'' vid it pisssed me offdanmit

  • I think their attitude is pretty screwed up.

  • i had an old account on this site and it got deleted because of claims EXACTLY like this one!! and now they've COMPLETELY shut down my normal normal email address, now i ahve to use my secondary account. also what the deal with not being able to change your username? they have FUCKING bad excuse for not being able to change it aswell cehck it out "Currently, you cannot change your username— there is simply too much information tied to each account..." and i ask why? waht difrence wud it make?!

  • If you were actually uploading copyright material you don't have a leg to stand on.

  • i know but it says on the upload page about if it's your own work it's not copyright and i made a video and you know mixed it all. and then they banned my old account!! =O =O

  • why did you smear doo doo on your face?

  • You're thinking of your mother.

  • No im looking right at you. why did you do it? dont avoid the question

  • Seriously, you're reliving a traumatic childhood memory - nothing to do with me.

  • Hell, practically any company in the world can pull bullshit like this now. Those Starbucks employees in California sued for back-pay because they didn't think it was fair for the shift managers to get tips, and they won. Then NY did the same thing.

  • Yep, there's no end to bullshit

  • It has obviously becomed too easy for any company to put forward such charges.

Oh, and by the way. I think that's the first time I've seen your freckles so clearly =P

  • Different lighting I guess :)

  • Either that, or the blue thing clarify them =P

  • Youtube's become corporate.

  • Corporate isn't bad in and of itself but YT is making some very bad decisions.

  • You would think so, but now with the sheer size of corporations and leverage buys, they stop taking the time to treat customers as their gold. They begin to treat you like "just another number" because as long as their profit margin goes up, customer DMCA reports are handled with bots.

  • There are many examples of people being treated very badly when they don't deserve it.

  • Take a look at this:

    watch?v=wCp-Coghhrk

I have never watched alphacat's videos before, but it looks like he got suspended because he was DMCAd by the same company that DMCAd SeanBedlam--"Televisa San Angel" a Mexican broadcasting company.

Now, it is possible that it could be a troll not realated to Televisa San Angel. ANYONE can send in a false DMCA using someone else's name and Youtube will dance like their marionette and do their censoring for them.

  • The folks at Youtube have grown too arrogant to be in charge of the world's largest town hall. This is why I think there needs to be some sort of check and balance on their leadership. They are so dominant that I don't see that coming in the form of free market competition in the next five years. I know you think it's mad, but that is why I see a necessity for some sort of government regulation.

  • It's a commercial company. The idea of regulating their behavior is beyond bizarre.

  • So is the electric company--yet there are regulations in place that prevent them from turning off the electricity on a whim. The food and medical industry are commercial companies and they are very heavily regulated as to what they can put into their products and the safety precautions they must take to make sure we aren't poisoned.

  • Toy companies are regulated to make sure they do not put lead in their products.

And I don't know this for a fact, but I suspect Microsoft faces government regulation as well. I would be astonished if their were absolutely no laws regulating their behavior--such as what software they could sell to the North Korean government.

The idea that Youtube should be immune to regulation when they act irresponsibly just because they are a private company is the bizarre one.

  • Seriously, this idea is insane almost beyond belief.

If nothing else, any formal regulation of YT would result in far MORE videos being taken down and accounts closed.

  • Oh, and btw, the DMCA is a MASSIVE regulation touching YT and almost everyone else. It is a fucked up regulation, but a regulation nonetheless. I only lay half the blame on what is happening here on YT and the other half on the DMCA.

  • That is true - their takedown policy is appalling.

  • I remember the angry copyright-related buzz circulating DeviantArt about the Orphaned Works bill that recently passed, but I'm too distracted by mind-numbing video games & flash videos to read about it. Had something to do with taking away artists' rights to prevent corperations from copywriting their art if they could (or didn't even try to) contact the artist, lots of loopholes, & so on....

  • Orphaned works means works where the creator/owner can't be found.

  • The part that everyone was worrying about is someone claiming they couldn't find the artist when they actually didn't bother trying; that happens a lot.

  • Wow. I never knew what a crock YT is until now. Thanks Angry Aussie. I guess when I start doing other vids besides my Mugen stuff I'll have to be uber careful what I do.

THANKS YOUTUBE YOU DUMB CUNTS, NOT THAT YOU'LL READ THIS COMMENT!

    You rock Mr. Angry. <3

  • They do some very bad things.

  • I really don't understand why they don't actually watch the videos. Its ridiculous. ¬_¬

  • They can't be bothered.

  • youtube probably jsut uses a fucking automated system for processing these claims .. gredy bastards don't need to hire and pay as many people that way

  • They automatically take videos down when they get a claim without checking.

  • O.o

  • Well the little guy somethimes wins.

Irate gamer Vs AVGN. Irate falsely removed some of AVGN videos so people woulden't see he was stealing them.

Too bad AVGN works for Screwattack and Gmetrailers. the former having the largest fanbase on the net, and the latter having truckloads of money because they are owned by MTV.

Screwattack let louse the fans at youtube and gametraliers sued the hell out of youtube untill the problem was fixed.

  • That's good to hear.

  • Ah loves that nerd :P

  • Lets all ban together, and delete our accounts if sean loses his channel

  • The "all" bit would never happen.

  • HELLL YEAHHH YOU ROCK!!!!!

  • Thanks - keep on rockin!

  • FUCK THE FUCKING FUCKERS (Y)

  • Hell yeah!

  • I agree, you tube is only damaging itself by deleting vids.

  • I think there are a lot of videos they should delete. I'm specifically arguiang against their mis-application of copyright laws.

  • I meant deleting vids who's owners have done nothing wrong.(I forgot to put this part in.=_=)

  • Are you light headed yet....

  • You're absolutely right!!!

  • Yep, sadly it's all true.

  • U tube deletes everything!Vids,Streams,ppl,everything!!!Damn u, you tube!Damn u to hell!

  • I actually think a lot of what they delete is a good idea.

  • thanks this pissis me off too those youtube dicks thinks there the one who make there money but we are were the ones givein there site view makeing it populare and clicking on those dam adds

  • Well, hopefully this will get better.

  • I think Sean and YouTube should pull your video for copyright infringement of Sean's eyebrows.

  • He stole them from me!

  • awesome, you sir are awesome!

  • Thanks a lot :)

  • if yt takes down any of my vids ill hacke em and put my vids bak up...... that is if i can hack wich i dont no how 2-_- so this comment was a waste of time

  • We fight back however we can

  • cool 2 thubs up lol

  • ur coolio man youtube is a big dissapointment to me aswell.

  • Yeah, I really wish they'd improve on this front.

  • yea

  • im posting an responce sir

  • Excellent!

  • thank u ^)^

  • Actually, if you respond to my newer one (the response to this video) more people will see it!

  • Oh, yeah. Loooooove that intro.

  • Thanks :)

  • We agree 100%. We've had dozens of vids deleted over the past year and about 15 channels suspended. Their TERMS OF USE change about as often as a cat's litter box. They're always changing things to suit their own purposes and cover their own asses while they get paid for our time, money, energy, blood, sweat and tears. I say "Fuck the system." And just keep uploading what u want. It's liberating to be suspended. It's the cool kids club. He should re-upload the vid and dare them to suspend him.

  • In this case, re-uploading the video is not challenging them in the slightest because the video doesn't breach terms of service - they're totally in the wrong in taking it down.

  • Well, that hasn't stopped them from suspending our channels.

When we've re-uploaded vids that they took down that's what happened. If Sean was suspended, people would notice. If a lot of the bigger channels INTENTIONALLY got themselves suspended a lot of people would notice and say something. Look at what happened with Mr. Pregnant. Many people got involved and the demand was such that he was re-instated. He was suspended for similar circumstances. Supposed copyright.

  • Hell, RIP films was suspended for copyright and then made into a partner.

  • I'll take a wild guess and say the videos you were re-uploading actually were breaching copyright or one of the other rules. Mr Pregnant's suspension was pretty bogus but it was actually his third warning.

  • We've never gotten a single warning over any deletions. I guess our channels were never popular enough for them to care. They were not copywritten, and they had no more sex, violence, etc than some of the partners work like Britney spears for example. They pick and choose who they support like they check the number of views or subs the channel has and decide whether it's worth the potential controversy. If it's a nobody they suspend then who's going to notice other than the person suspended.

  • I agree that the rules are most definitely selectively enforced. I don't know anything about your videos so i can't make an objective comment.

  • no angry

  • hey angry you rock this is my tribute channel to you! ^^^^^^

  • Is any of u aware that this site is completely free and frankly its a privilege lol, it is crap about all this copyright infringements but whatever we upload is then OWND not by us but by utube lol, most of ur opinions i agree with but utube isnt as perfect as it could or SHOULD be

  • There's no reason for youtube to treat us like shit.

  • Perhaps they get so many its quicker just to delete... they are lazy... are u sure they go out of their way and delibrately inconvienance people?? I donno...:S

  • That doesn't make sense. They are doing the wrong thing. Period.

  • YOUTUBE, you have to listen to him!!!

  • I'm not holding my breath.

  • Thank you! for helping us YouTuber with letting us know some of what is going on. You Rock! Did I say thank you? ;-) Blessings from Earth +++ The Saint +++

  • There's some things I can't help telling people about!

  • They Didn't check?

  • They never check. They get a copyright claim and they take down the video without checking.

  • Right on Angry. This is a ridiculous and very concerning situation.

  • Absolutely. It might never change but it definitely won't if we don't speak up.

  • You tube took down my crow hunting video and it legal here

  • If something's perceived as animal cruelty they'll take it down.

  • Hunting crow is not cruelty here we have legal hunts for thrm right now

  • You miss my point. People complained it was cruel. YT took it down. Whether or not it is legal in your area is irrelevant.

  • Ok i see but the ppl that complained was one guy that has 5+ more acounts and don"t likehunters/fishermen name Glazad

  • I'm not saying the people that complained weren't jerks ;)

  • TRU

  • hay lad your right i dont think youtube looks at the vids before the get rid of them. iv had 3 vids taken of for no real reason im just waiting for my latest one to go and if it dose ill be f#$king pissed off coz its one id like aussies to see

  • they definitely don't look.

  • Well said, AA, well f#$king said!

  • It damn well needed to be said.

  • It's a travesty. it's a scam.

    red herring!

  • Yes it is.

  • You wouldn't want to wear that T-shirt in public.

  • No I wouldn't.

  • Well thats just bullshit... what was his video about?

  • One of his usual rants.

  • Angry Aussie is correct - when you go on to the videos for the day - it's nothing but Spanish soap operas every day - as well as Japanese or China - could we please have some originality back please - something that is funny and original - I miss those videos - Example - Catapult for drunken friends - and the ice skater that strips during his performance "Dance". One day I went onto the sight and one of my playlists were gone. What the hell is going on you tube is getting repetitive and boring!

  • "What the hell is going on you tube is getting repetitive and boring!"

They are trying to become another "tv network". Boring and repetitive... They're doing a good job of it so far.

  • Yeah, there's a few things that need looking at.

  • Thank you I just don't understand when things changed hands, they just decided to go to hell with themselves - it's not for the people anymore. Thanks Angry!!! - Long Island, New York

  • At the moment, some pissant company with lawyers can hurt YouTube more then a handful of users leaving. That's what YouTube cares about. The people have already put them on top with their free content they've given YT. They're #1 thanks to the people. So the people are no longer needed. In short, if you can't sue YT, they don't care about you.

  • YT WILL win the court case against Viacom, I'm just hoping their behaviour gets better after that.

  • I doubt it will to be honest. They have what they want. Market domination. The people are no longer needed. And since it looks like they're trying to become just another mindless tv network, I don't think the people are even wanted anymore.

  • You may well be right - if so, they are sealing their fate and someone better will com along.

  • Not sure about that. YouTube has the views thanks to the people. Most people on here want attention, or to be "discovered". So they will stay here like happy little lemmings inching their way towards the edge of the cliff with a smile on their face totally oblivious to the ass reaming they are receiving.

  • actually, napster proved thats not the law. precedents on intellectual property are getting odd.

  • Actually, you're wrong. The DMCA is black and white. Hosting companies are not responsible for what people upload IF they take it down when notified of infringement. Napster was always belligerent and refused to take stuff down.

  • not talking about smca, just talking about legal precedent. the precedent in the states put youtube in a legal wrangling.

  • Youtube will win because they are right under the law.

  • if they areight under the law, why are they pulling all copyrighted material down?

  • This statement doesn't make sense. Responding to valid takedown notices is what keeps you within the law.

  • napster was a peer to peer site, they didn't have anything "up"

  • im was referring to the viacom lawsuit, not sean's video.

  • Napster was NOT a peer to peer site, they hosted all of the offending material. That was their downfall.

  • actually nope. reread the judicial opinion, kaaza got hit for the same thing. it was a peer to peer site.

  • You need to accept at some point that you're wrong about this.

  • Wow, I have missed a lot this last week.

This explains a lot of other talk I've heard.

Yep, YT needs to be a hell of a lot more careful.

  • They need to do SOMETHING. Right now they're doing nothing.
