  • o:

  • Thanks Bing, I'm re-learining the form from your video, like the way you do it.

Can anyone tell me who the music is by?

  • @bigbamboo396 The music is "The Void" from the DVD "TaiChi Images" which you can find on AMAZON. I agree it is the most beautiful music.

  • Love Wudang Love the music Love the style .......simply wonderful taichi wudang video.....Great performer Master!

  • vaw ,fantastiko belisimoo

  • Still the most spirirual and elegant TaiChi set on the internet. Thank you Master Bing.

  • if tai chi could be described with words... would we really accept slow kung fu? you only know what you see and dont realize what there really is to this.

  • if you feel that Tai Chi can even be described with words... i guess. if it was as simple as slow kung fu. all you know is what you see and have no idea what else there is to it.

  • Great form I love it. Can anyone tell me the names of the movements? Thx in advance.

  • On the right hand of this page and at the top box where it says 'subcribe' click on WUDANGDAO.. That will take you to Master Bing's website. On the toolbar at the top click on 'Kungfu' then scroll down to the section for the taichi/qigong articles. There you will find the 28 moves and a list of the names of the moves in English and Chinese.

  • Okey thx:D

  • nice music what is the title?

  • Check earlier comments for this info. However, it is called "The Void" form the CD "Tai Chi Images" which can be found on AmazonMP3. com for downloading onto MP3.

  • taiji is slow kongfu, if a master does it fast you are wasted, because taiji teaches how to control your entire body and mind

  • Tai Chichaun is MAINLY a form of moving meditation that has many internal health benefits. Each move has benefits that maintain and improve the health of internal organs , muscles, tendons , blood circulation etc. It can take many years to be able to practise this INTERNAL ART effectively.

  • finish him!

  • @ScienceOfKaboom

You have described Tai Chi perfectly in one sentence. Thank you.

    Bow.

  • @ScienceOfKaboom Exactly. Performing the movements slowly not only helps to teach focus, control, and balance, but when you move slowly you are forced to pay attention to every segment of the movement. This helps to make every movement powerful from start to finish. If you look closely, you will notice that a good Taiji practitioner rarely, if ever, has both heels off the ground. This is for that same reason of stability and strength through the entire form.

  • can u really fight other people with this? i mean tai chi is only for defence right? so like if someone is trying to pick a fight u can't hit that person first?

  • There's a ot of palm strike in tai chi. It depends wich style of tai chi you practice. But when you practice tai chi, your mind is peaceful. You will try to avoid fighting instead of picking up a fight with someone.

  • Does anyone know the origin of this tai chi 28 form? How long ago was it created and by whom?

It seems, this information is not available anywhere on the internet.

  • Source: Taoist Tai Chi Society web:

Zhang Sanfeng, a Sung Dynasty (960 AD to 1279 AD) Taoist sage, is generally credited with creating the set of movements referred to as Tai Chi (taiji) or Tai Chi Chuan (taijiquan).

Zhang Sanfeng was a practitioner of the Wudang sect of Taoism. As originally developed, Tai Chi was a tool for Returning to the Origin. Today, although most styles of Tai Chi are not forms of Taoist practice, they all owe their origins to this Chinese religious tradition.

  • Thanks a lot for your kind reply, but I was inquiring specificaly about the 28 shi form. I suspect it's not that old, but I could be wrong.

    Peace.

  • Why not ask Master Bing at 'Wudangbing' by clicking on it at the top of this page. This will take you to his channel page where an email addres is on the lefthand side. Good luck!!

  • For anyone interested, the music on this video is "The Void" from the cd Tai Chi Images that can be found on Amazonmp3.

  • This Tai Chi form is amazing. I started practicing this form after 2 years of Yang tai chi (shu king hung form) and I was surprised on how well the energy is balanced and how well it releases the pericardium channel, making the heart feel light. Also vitality seems to be improving with practice, wich I never felt in the Yang style. After looking into taoism for almost 20 years, I am very grateful to master Bing for making this heritage available to us.

  • Master Yuan is a great martial artist. He is currently in the U.S, I would like to study with him someday. He is a Taoist Priest from Mt.Wudang China.

  • BING Shi fu is in the U.S right now, master yuan has never been to america. he might leave to go there one day. but he is more interested in becoming a hermit, like the grandmaster.

  • Thanks for the clarification, I have wondered if I was confusing Master Bing with Master Yuan. Although I practice Northern Shaolin 7 Star Praying Mantis and Wu style Tai Chi I still think that the Wudang internal martial arts is the most awesome as well as the Taoist philosophy. How do you know about the masters?

  • i'm a long term student of yuan shi fu

  • loved this thanks for postin, but i wish there is a vid that breaks the movements down into smaller parts so it becomes easier to learn

  • Although this comment was posted 1 year ago I would like to reply. There is a DVD by Master Bing that is VERY detailed in showing AND teaching the moves of the Wudang Tai Chi 28 Form (shown here). It is a wonderful teaching tool that is very easy to follow as Master explains and demonstrates in great detail.

  • Hi, I would like to get this DVD. where can i find it?

  • did you ever get this dvd by Master Bing?. If not, you can buy it on his website online store by going to his channel page. Just click on WudangBing at the top of this page and it will take you to his site. All of his dvd's are listed there.

  • ほんまもんの気功ってもんを知らんようだな・・ふぅ。

  • Absolutely stunning video and so graceful too!! Many thanks for the upload!

  • who's this guy ?

  • master Yuan Xiugang, in WuDang

  • This is Zhong Xue Chao aka Master Bing from Wudang Mountain.

  • mea culpa ^:)^

  • amazing... the smooth movements, wonderful song, love it thanks for posting

  • Good, but kinda confusing when you have 28, 33, 48 etc Tai Chi forms. Would be nice to have an official short form to go with the long form.
