Love this concert. I was probably 12 years old when I first saw this on HBO. I remember loving the songs...and then I went backwards (no choice) and started buying their tapes/albums. It was all so new to me and so awesome! Great band, great concert. Love Kenny Jones and Ketih Moon!! THE WHO!!!!!!!!!
Kenny Jones is so much better than Keith Moon ever was, and 90% of drummers will tell you that.
Keith Moon sounddd like an epileptic building a shed, never kept time, and played with no discipline or regard for what the rest of the band were doing, Kenny's a great drummer, and actually has some feel.
@jackHNv I know this is a bit late commentwise, but I just wanted to thank you for being the voice of reason in the Moon vs. Jones argument. Someone tore into me for saying Kenney stepped into Moon's role brilliantly and that Moon lost the plot at the end, so it's nice to see someone else giving Mr. Jones his proper due as drummer for The Who.
@epsteinsmutha1 No problem, Keith Moon was a really busy drummer, and thrashing around doing lots of rolls impresses people who don't play, but ask any musician which drummer they'd rather play with!
