  • this was in ff2 (j)

  • people out there, believe me BELA was (and still is, THE BOSS). Bruce Springstein is only a wannabe. I remember going to the flicks with my uncle abt 1963 and seeing Dracula (Bela, Renfield & co.) for the very first time. I never slept for for 2 nights.

I, even to this day, 50 years later come off with the line 'You know too much to live, Dr Van Helsing.'. and much more.

Yes, BELA was thee Count Dracula - and that's for sure.

  • Memorable tune.

  • @MDthornton83 indeed it is

  • uoooa!! I listened to this in Billy Elliot, the final scene, amazing!. Now it's Dracula turn.

  • Tchaikovsky <3 <3

  • Karloff... sidekick?

  • Lugosi is the babe ruth of vampires.

  • @TheDeadhead76 Never a more true statement.

  • @TheDeadhead76 Nosferatu says HELLO

  • @TheDeadhead76 Lugosi? Fuck that shit! KLAUS FUCKING KINSKI!

  • @stigler30 if you have read up on your facts vampire s usually did not have any human like qualities in folklore some were described as only heads that fed on people this vampire is basically unheard of but I believe Nosferatu kept that same feel even the Lee version was not even close but Lugosi set the image, for example the cape and the ascent. Lee showed us how badass Dracula can be but with Lugosi we would have a totally different type of vampire.

  • I'm probably not the first to point this out, but this song wasn't made for Dracula. It was from Swan Lake.

  • @stigler30 Lugosi ruined vampire movies forever? Are you stupid he was the one who set the image of the vampire not stupid Eward Cullen. Learn your facts.

  • Bela Lugosi is where it's AT.

  • @Crunchycrunchysmooth Oh I totally agree. If anyone wants to be where it's at in terms of actors, Bela Lugosi is the way to go.

  • 1:09 STAR WARS

  • That first pic of Lugosi: perfect for a "DO WANT" pic.

    Oh,and the song kicked ass.

  • Wolves listen to this when they toast lamb blood in their silver goblets by the crackling green fire in the heart of some black mountain

  • Just take a moment to listen....Amazing...

  • is it still coverd by copyrights? I need for a short movies festival

  • I wanna be a vapire

  • This gives me chills!!!!

  • @GENEFGMK It's just Swan Lake you know, not special for this.

  • one of the best songs ever composed. this is my ringtone, not only because it's beautiful, but because dracula is cool :)

  • this the best part form The Swan Lake in my opinion.

  • Ehhhh *sigh* I miss the old black and white movies .... like Dracula , such class

  • see... this is a real vampire....

  • Are you kidding me? This is Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake. Pretty soon this will be known as the "Theme from Black Swan."

    Musical illiterates.

  • @4thbox because... (i may be wrong) i think in black swan natalie portman is dancing in swan lake or something...

  • the old days, when the vampires were counts not cunts

  • always loved this theme. I believe its a classic theme called Swan lake however sadly I forget the Artists name whom composed it :-/

  • Bela Lugosi and Max Schreck, now THOSE were vampires.

  • Everytime this theme is played, I imagine Lugosi's Dracula dancing with a woman. He would control the whole stage, take everyone's eyes out in amazement, and use while it's a showbooting to them, it's simply a masquerade designed by his evil magnificence. That's what a vampire is.

  • SUPERB Music! x0]

  • where's the old days

vamires were killing machines but now we got some fukin sissy vampires who fall in love and shit

    FUCK TWILLIGHT

  • this is a vampire f@#k you Twilight

  • I hate Boris Karloff It's all make-up and, and, grunting this role requires talent It's all in the eyes and the voice and the hand

  • ah the music of real vampires (fuck u edward)

  • I Love how the theme to this movie is from Swan Lake lol

  • please stop saying that sparkling fairy 's name here its an insult to real vampires like Dracula

  • I have sand wich on Vlad Tepes shed blood of his enemy in name of justice and also, i have wood from Dracula's forest where Vlad Dracul impaled thieves, villains and ottomans up corpses filled the forest. Dracula the vampire is a legend, but Vlad Tepes (Vlad Dracul or Draculea) is not.

For more details, contact me at my adress in Romania or write an email at "Societas.Draconistrarum@yahoo.com". This adress is available for YM also. Belive or not, Draculea still live in Targoviste's woods

  • twilight is shit compared to this masterpeice

  • @UFWD2000 twilight is shit anyway.

  • f This is a vampire, not a faggot :D. if you can distinguish the difference then you saved your money and didn't wasted it on twilight . I love old films, not like modern films, 98% special effects and 2% acting..... these are real actors!.

  • I seriously am tired of modern vampires. All they do now is acting sexy and having stupid hair style and having constant, endless sex with every woman. Why can''t there be the monstrous beings like Dracula anymore?

  • @a45027 if youre tired of that then watch "the horror of dracula" really good dracula movie got blood and NO romance at all :)

  • @kallemick I did watch it, and it's really great.

  • @a45027 okay i think the same its pretty interesting even though i watched it without subtitles on the web (its not avaiable with subtitles in denmark) and i could still know what happened and stuff unlike most movies

  • @a45027

I agree. I don't care for adolescent vampires, ketchup drinking and space vampires (seriously there are movies called The Ketchup Vampires and Teenage Space Vampires), or these new action-style vampires. They go more for looking "cool" or "sexy" than scary. Even Coppola's was alternating between a horror and a soap opera (he cried purple tears like a teenager after a break-up) . Lugosi was sexy, but he kept Dracula serious and evil. Give me bats and coffins, not Matrix moves and angst.

  • i heard this in 2 cinemas (in the halls) im pretty surprised since i live in boring denmark

  • Fuck twilight novels! oh and bieber too!

  • the 2 people who hit the dislike buttons are twilight fans

  • Does Dracula have a thing for Swan Lake or something?

  • @TheGerkuman I noticed the Swan Lake theme in the movie repeatedly when the count appeared. I guess they just decided to go with it because it brings the feeling of death approaching...

  • @TheGerkuman

that's exactly what i was thinking. how in hell is Tchaikovsky cast into the Dracula theme?

  • @Achorafa At the time, it was technically difficult to fully score a film as we would today: This was played over the opening titles, and there's a Wagner overture in the background of the theater scene where Dracula meets Van Helsing and the other characters, but no real "score" written for the film, itself. FRANKENSTEIN had a similar situation, with no music during the actual film, just generic title music.

  • My door bell is this

  • the best vampire actor person thingy XD

  • HE is only true VAMPIRE NOSFERATU and so on.. HE! GO TWILLIGHT! GO _uck yourselfe _ _ !!!!!! ALUCARD DRACULA!!

  • IS THIS THE ORIGINAL THEME...IT SOUNDS LIKE IT!!

  • yao guys, watch nosferatu... much better

  • .....

  • the greatest horror icon ever

  • A Symphony of Horror!

    Opinion AND Fact.

  • this is a slightly darker version of swan lake :0

  • This was perfect to set the mood for the film

  • As soon as I heard this theme, I fell in love with it!

  • This theme actually has faster tempo than the original version of Swan lake!

  • This kind of reminds me of the Imperial March.

  • God...Legosi really shined as the king of the vampires!

  • woah. woah. WOAH! Slow the fuck down! How is Dracula's theme Swan Lake?

  • @xXDeadToastXx

Part of the theme was in Swan Lake.

  • I want blood flavored ice-cream! As long as they don't have extra pictures of Bella and Edward on it. Or i'll create my own picture of Dracula and he will suck the life out of them!

  • "Back in my day vampires sucked blood: not cock"

    screw Twilight

  • @curseyourgrave that shit actually made me laugh

  • @curseyourgrave Twilight and Dracula are from two different centuries. So stop comparing the two. They barely have anything in common besides the vampire theme. I'm no fan of Twilight, but all you want is thumbs up.

  • @herbertmoon11

It's a joke, laugh. And stop being such a tool, because no one "tries" to get thumbs up. Especially me. Oh and you're a douchebag for thinking so

  • someone has to say it !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @curseyourgrave

Now I'm no fan of Twilight, I hate it. But I'm pretty sure no one sucks cock in any of the Twilight books or movies.

  • @KattMask Then you haven't read them.

  • @curseyourgrave But this movie was the seed for Twilight. Bela Lugosi ruined vampires forever.

  • @stigler30 bela lugosi ruined vampires forever? if it wasnt for him vampires wouldnt be like they are today at all

  • @kallemick They would be like the book Dracula or like Max Schrek.

  • @stigler30 Go back under your bridge you Twilight obsessed Troll!! Twilight was a disgrace to vampires.

  • @96gamerdude I don't like Twilight either, I never seen one frame of those movies nor have read one letter of the books. You want REAL vampires? Read the book Dracula, watch Nosferatu and it's 1979 remake, watch the Christopher Lee movies(the 1970 non-Hammer directed by Jesus Franco is the best of his Draculas). Bela Lugosi created every bad cliche about vampires that exists today.

  • Fuck Twilight, this is the shit! Even though it was made in 1931!

  • This music is so beautiful, yet symbolizes Horror.

  • Mr. Lugosi will never be forgotten as the best Dracula then and still NOW!

So why don't we all drink some Vine and celebrate his status as making the image of the most Popular Dracula, EVER!

  • go real vampires! not sparkly ones

  • isn't this Tchaikovsky or something?

  • @juggarnatha Yes it is and the piece is from Swan Lake

  • @juggarnatha yes of course tchaikovsky

  • Freddy jason Michael Myers eat your fucking heart out

  • Atmospheric...

  • This music is a classic masterpiece. =)

  • If only vamipires where still portrayed like Dracula was *sigh* fuck you Twilight

  • @SILVERFOX8895 we live in a newer generation where everything haves to suck justin biebers cds are seen in the category "music" rather then a trashcan and vampire movies are about love........

  • @kallemick The problem isn't that vampire movies are about love, the problem is that vampire movies are about gay-looking vampires shining on sun or whatever. (I didn't see it, who would? -.-") They are not vampires, I can't call them vampires. They are just shit. Shit, shining on sun.

  • @SILVERFOX8895 if everyone thought like you did, there will be hope that dracula will return in a blinding flash of smoke

  • @SILVERFOX8895 100% agree

  • @SILVERFOX8895 bela lugosi dracula is a pussy compared to christopher lee's dracula, and christopher lee's dracula is a pussy compared to max shreck's nosferatu!

  • @SILVERFOX8895 Stop being a bitch thumbs up fag. Stop comparing two barely related things.

  • @SILVERFOX8895 They still are aren't they? Don't you mean Max Schrek, Christopher Lee and Klaus Kinski?

  • i remember about 10 years ago, when a vampire in a movie take "from dusk till dawn" for instance, would fuck you up big stile, with loads of cool violent affects, and loads of blood. and every vampire was some fucked up thing, with blood dripping form there mouths. now we have "twilight" witch is more discusting then dracula, passionat kissing scenes, and the men wear lipstick... i think i would rather eat my own shit, than watch twilight.

  • Ah Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky, stunningly beautiful..

  • My favorite Dracula of them all!!! Bela Lugosi is a legend for all times =)

  • In that this theme song was already integrated into the Dracula movie (and into the original Mummy), the "rock inquisition" was unable to go back in time to remove this direct example of how classical music was MEANT to sound -- forceful and haunting, _not_ dull and boring as portrayed in 'modern' classical concerts on PBS etc.

  • I am...Dracula. Love that Bela Lugosi.

  • fuck twilight

  • Bela Lugosi = Epic Win

  • Sorry but this is incorrect... this is in the movie The Mummy starring Borris Karloff. You must have got them mixed up.

  • @JudgeMagisterDelita Sorry bro, but youre incorrect. The opening music used in this film (Dracula) was made in 1931, when the cost of having a theme for a song was quite expensive. In 1932 when The Mummy came out, this music WAS used, but it was recycled from this film. (I believe that Frankenstein and the Wolfman also uses this)

  • This movie are the best classic ever!!!!

  • Swan Lake is the name of this track or it have another name i can't find it.

  • To think that this man was buried in a cape is really epic
