Every season has a contestant or two that viewers whine about having an "unfair" advantage due to previous dancing experience. Last season is was the pussycats chick. This season it's Jennifer. My response to that: Can you imagine if it was 12 Michael Boltons out there? There would be zero entertainment value. So I, for one, am glad they choose people who actually CAN dance. It is a dancing show, after all.

joey, the poster who said she had experience before the show..no she does not have experience. her husband was in an interview last week i think and said that she has only danced one other time years ago besides Dirty Dancing and that was it. i just think she enjoys it so much and has natural rhythm and thats what helps her.

This show is not just for the inexperience dancers. DWTS is a foremost about enertainment and ratings. Jennifer draws people in and is fun to watch dance. I rather watch her then those with no experience, DWTS producers should just come out and say so to stop all this ringer talk because they've put so called ringers on the show for years.

This jive was fast all the way through, while the other stars dances was slow at the beginning, working their way into a faster jive. This definitely deserved three nines!! The judges are not very good at judging if, each of them, thought this deseved an eight accross the board . I would have booed this score too, if I was in the sitting in the audience! Good job Derek and Jennifer!!

Yeah Jennifer & Derek deserved higher then 8s for this Jive. 9s all across the board would have been more spot on!

If this isn't a 9 I don't know what is. She's great, but it seems a little unfair since she had previous dance experience working with Patrick Swayze on Dirty Dancing. It's still very impressive for a 50 year old though.

Jennifer and Derek definitely deserved more than an 8, at least one 9, if not two. It wasn't perfect, but it's as pretty darn close as you're gonna get in week 2! Way to go Jennifer and Derek! I love these guys :)
