greetings hamsa yogi,  I am a follower of Yogananda and practice the kriya he offered the west. recently I have become aware of kechari mudra and was told by a monk that as we progress kechari will come naturally. do you offer methods to achieve kechari especially stretching the tongue. i am grateful for your offerings and the wonderfull stories of the Master;s.

Question: Do you come to New York? When kechari is achieved then the kriya breath is achieved through nose? Can pratyahara then be achieved quickly?

There are certain aspects of the techniques that cannot be specifically discussed on a public forum. When khechari becomes fixed in the yogi, the mind flatlines,(Ida and Pingala become disengaged). General descriptions are okay. Better to meet Gurunath and ask Him these questions yourself.

Yes khechari mudra is included in the techniques along with talabya and chalan for extending the frenum. You can view khechari and add it to your practice of kriya:

The alchemical technique of Kundalini Kriya Yog is not given on Youtube. It is transmitted to the spiritual aspirant by the Master or taught by an authorized acharya. 3~

I would bet my life that you could NOT logically justify why anyone wanting and willing to learn should not be able to do so on their own. Share the knowledge. Let others do with it as they will. Does this "alchemical technique" cause pain if used improperly? hmmmmm.....

Authorized by the Guru or Master. This Vedic tradition is not subject to personal opinions, preferences or beliefs. You are welcome to argue your point with the ancient rishis, who saw fit to establish this requirement and safeguard. If one applies the alchemical formula incorrectly, the desired effect will not be achieved. Those who have the original Kriya Yog given to Lahiri Mahsay by the Mahavatar, are few, though many claim to have it. So I'll refer you to the Biblical passage: Matthew 7:6

joe, yogananda's quote isnt condemning others... its a paraphrase of his entire teachings (and obviously others, too) that all religions ultimate goal is the same; self realization.

and the video ends at the actual instruction because, unfortunatley :(, kriya yoga initiation is only given in person.

No Kriya Yoga initiations doesn't always have to be in person.

If you read the book autobiography of a yogi then you should have known that Lahiri Mahasaya initiated a disciple thru a dream

Those instances are rare and under very special circumstances having to do with karmic and past life connections or experiences with the Master. The usual occurrence is from Master to chela in realtime. But of course, a Master may do whatever He or She wishes in terms of initiation. "Wings to Freedom" by Yogiraj is the greatest spiritual treatise on Kriya Yog since Yoganandaji's "Autobiography of a Yogi".

Yes, I experienced many, many times in my life, being in front of Spiritual Teachers, also when they are saying 'nothing' with their tongue, they are 'saying' LOTS OF THINGS through their Energy, Presence and Vibrations and their SILENT WISDOM can transform and bless the surroundings withou saying a word. They do it also when they say "non senses"! Simply wonderful!!! :)

everybody is god. everyone is one with divinity, coming from, part of moving tiowards, identified, therefore everyone can say I AM GOD. watch the bleep movie! noone and everyone can claim to be god. there is no one being who is god. people still have the silly idea in their minds that god is an old man with a white beard sitting somewhere in heaven.

No individual human being can claim to be God. However, we all have the potential to manifest divinity within by making our bodies and minds a fit temple for God to dwell. This is done by surrendering the ego and shifting your awareness from body consciousness to soul consciousness.
