when i do this in a project im working on it moves everything else over and its not lined up? any ideas? what I did was bring the clip to the end of the time line and changed the speed then placed it where i wanted.. any easier way?

Well then why doesn't Final Cut Express allow me to speed up a clip? If I go above 100%, It tell's me, "Unable to completed the command. A conflict occurred during a trim operation".

@calism23 i have both and it does it sometimes with both, i save the project and quit the program then reload and sometimes that makes it work. but its odd that it does that sometimes. if anyone knows more please let me know.

on final cut express when i make the clip faster about 200-150 percent it has the same sound as the clip as if i had not sped it up
