@Bad2413 The fastest way is to use the soulsucker glitch. Some guy I knew estimated how long it would take to get to SL 712 with BDS duping, and it was something like 7 or 8 hours. Soul sucking takes 4 or 5.

go to the archdemon archstone and kill the sky beasts with storm ruler and ring of avarice and u can 20k+ in a minute or so :P

@Criticalcritc21 thats good in regular game...but once you get to NG++ i beleive they take two hits from storm ruler so it takes much much longer. But ya in my first playthrough i lvled there :)

you can do way more.

have ring of averice equipped. after you kill the reaper quickly cast soul thirst and get 50% more. afterward, fall off the left side, run to the the black skeleton and kill him before soul thirst runs out (i used a few soul rays).

next step is silly but saves time. instead of exiting the nexus and returning, suicide off the cliff. you'll respawn where you started and can do it all over again without wasting time. just make sure to pick up your souls on every run.

That's 420,000 souls an hour.

You need 1 billion souls to reach level 712.

For easy math, we'll be generous and say that it's 500k souls per hour.

That's 2,000 hours to reach SL 712. Or 10 hours every day for 7 months.

This might just be more grinding than reaching level 99 in Diablo 2.

@Metadaxe A plentiful amount higher than Diablo 2. (Even though I ran a bot and didnt feel the blunt of that grind). Its just worthless to hit max in this game really.

@StudyTheSequence Well, you can use an exploit to get to SL 712. But aside from that, I agree that it's unrealistic and pointless to attempt reaching 712.

@Brokenrune yeh diablo was a pain in my ass XD i think it was alot more fun though, at least for the short run. This game is better over time tho XDD. diablo three better be alot better, from the trailers it looks pretty beastly.

Still takes a while, but by far the easiest way to level. I don't even snipe the dude anymore, you can easily one-shot him with a good melee weapon, the reaper doesn't have much health.
