  • PUKE

  • biggle tickles, seth!

  • Ah! Seth. Desiree actually says "Yes, I must. I really must. NOW...." Now as opposed to No.

  • I love in Ragtime's opening number, when grandpa is "thoroughly annoyed by everything" and the way that the speech pattern should normally go down, but he just keeps it right at the same annoyed tone.

  • I'm obsessed with "Isn't that alarming? What is she a bird?" HAHAHAHAHA Genius

  • That "I'm bluuuuuuuuuuuuee" part is hilarious.

  • CLASS ACT!?!?! YAY!

  • Seth, wonderful! I'm doing Night Music at the moment in Australia and will listen intently to it tonight... Played by Sigrid Thornton who is simply heaven.

  • Delightful, as always. The suicidal chanteuse has long been my favorite comic moment in OTT. But tellmewhatsahappenin is right. Desiree's line after, "I really must" is "Now — " not "No." It's just as funny; she's desperate to change the subject, but Frederick won't shut the hell up about her. She'd never say "no" that early; it would mean dropping the mask of bland politeness that's the whole point of the song till she learns that Ann's still a virgin and then explodes with venom.

  • I adore Carolee Carmello so much. I think she's insanely underrated!

  • the "shit" line is hilarious bcuz subtly is soooo much funnier then overacting, and a smarter acting choice. the easy choice is your "bad" example, the smart choice is the sublte way

  • Bizarre but...ur joking. That's my fave line

  • Can I just say that your shirt clashes with the curtains? Lol.

  • SETH: GREAT STUFF ! A lot of people forget that Streisand truly was a brilliant talent at such a young age. With INCREDIBLE instincts to do things HER Way. People also forget just how FuNnY she was before she got all "serious" and agenda laden.

Keep up the good work, when can we see YOU in NY this summer ???

    Don in Baltimore

  • hahaha that nightclub singer bit was so funny!

  • OMG!!! Nora Mae Lyng's pipes are UN-BUH- WEEEV-ABULL!!

  • Oh, I also love the bit in 'Liaisons' where Hermione Gingold sings 'What once was a sumptuous feast is figs. No, not even figs....RAISINS'. So bitchy, and hilarious.

  • Gene Varrone = my heart

  • I love Len's voice in "You Must Meet My Wife" when he sings "her reticence, her apprehen-SION!" There's like an explosion of amazingness, Sondheimness, and Cariouness, on the "SION."

And Glynis Johns is one fantastic woman.

  • Omg I love all of this music.....your so amazing...like thank you soooooo much for posting

  • Ah Seth, can't you do 360 deconstructions in 360 days? Hehe. It's weird, I was listening to Night Music when you put this up, I totally love it. I'm seeing the new London production next week, with Hannah Waddingham (Lady of the Lake WE + Broadway) as Desiree - it's gonna be really different to Glynis Johns, but interesting! xx

  • A Class Act and I Can Get it For You Wholesale have wonderful scores that I wish more people knew! I'm glad I can count on you to obsess over obscure recordings that I obsess over! Great moments in here, Seth!

  • Seth, you make me happy every day ^_^

  • Miss Nancy Walker

  • God bless Nancy Walker!

  • I thought that the word was "now," not "no." I should've checked the score when I was in it last semester.

  • First time I heard Babs' HUH? I had to replay it so many times, I thought it was so hilarious - glad to see this on your videos!

  • You must meet my wife is one of my favorite songs!!!! XD SO happy to see you deconstruct it for its hilarity!! :D

  • hahahahah wonderful!

  • Both your lip-synching and the lyrics made me just die during "A Little Night Music"! Thanks!

  • love it! daily deconstructions are so great, the perfect pick me up at the end of a day. and you can so tell that you're having so much fun with these seth! keep up the fab work

  • If you want hilarious, listen to "My Dogs" from Elegies! It's hysterical, yet...ironically sad, yet still funny!

  • YOUR interpretation is fabulous!

CLASS ACT! I can't believe you put up CLASS ACT! :] This made me soo happy!

    Forbidden Broadway IS comedy.

    Love it.

  • Hey Seth!
