Very good. Is that you narrating? Because that voice goes very, very well with the clip. Its slightly creepy, but at the same time, kind of warm and full of feeling.
Thanks for posting this. Its one of the best Insect God clips I could find.
Thanks! Yes, I narrated this one. I am working on doing narrated, slide show animated versions of the first Amphigorey book. I have all of the images, I just need my friends to help me put them together.
Thanks for posting this! Edward Gorey is always morbidly wonderful - and this (well read!) snippet, doesn't disappoint. Though it hasn't helped my insect phobia any (*scuttles off to locate a flyswat*)
Thank you for your kind comment. I put this up as an example for The Edward Gorey House of an extended project I would like to work on with their blessing.
The coolest thing about Edward Gorey poems is that one or two lines stick with you all your life if you read them just once.

Whats your interpretation of this poem?

@theeeoooo : I'm not sure I understand the question. I think the story is pretty straight-forward.

Actually, I have, but I've been letting them trickle out. I finished about five of them, and two of them are available at my YouTube profile.
