i love the whole 9 years later concept :) ...i also love Sunset better. i saw it when i was 18 & had a huge thing for Ethan Hawke lol. then a few years later i saw Sunrise and it's a cute set up to Sunset. i've always loved the ambiguity of both films :) ...Favorite romance movie ever!

I think the youth of the actors and the director gave "Before Sunrise" a purity that "Before Sunset" didn't have.

@Sotnas I dont know, i think that this movie is all about redemption, about the things that they've accomplished and the things they couldnt do, such as staying together. That's why the ending is so amazing, because they do what they should've done 9 years ago, finally.

I watched both films back-to-back last night. There were a little too slow for my taste, but I still liked them thanks to Hawke and Delpy who managed to have great chemistry both times as these characters. i will say that I preferred to "Sunrise" to "Sunset". I thought it would be the opposite, but no. I thought the dialogue was way more interesting and the fact that they were younger made it more appealing.
