Truth, TR:A was too polished. The gore factor is gone, completely. Luckily, since the newest update, the gore is back. Though, I do suggest picking up Anniversary, once more and play through it. Same with all the other games. AOD maybe a bit too bleh, but it's well worth getting used to all the bullshit.

Oh god now that you mention it, the draw distance in this game is awful
When you mentioned the maze which is later in the game, i instantly remembered which level you are talking about and the level is a bit of a nightmare if i am being honest
I agree with u completely about TR:A.. Think I played the first few levels and decided it just wasn't ''right''. I like the grittiness of the original too, makes it allot more realistic in a funny way. Will never ever be better than the original in my opinion...Not even with the upgraded graphics :).
