This is my favorite Elvis song. The words as well as the music are so simple, soft, romantic, and poetic. It is the perfect love song. It takes me back to my teenage years when I was all of fifteen-years-old. In the movie "The Man in the Moon," set in rural Louisiana in the 1950's, Reese Witherspoon, as a fourteen-year-old, is shown romantically hugging her pillow while listening to Elvis sing "Loving You" on a 45 record. It is a beautiful scene that many of us can relate to.

Jackie, I find it amazing that the good folks with EPE feel threatened by You Tube. How much money did they make off Elvis' fans last year - $40,000,000?

I would argue that Elvis videos on You Tube are a boon to EPE. Probably every day someone who is not (yet) an Elvis fan checks out one of these videos and finds himself/herself drawn to other Elvis videos. Soon he or she is a full-fledged fan, and is creating his/her own Elvis collection - which is money in the bank for EPE.

An uptempo version of this song was used as the title tune of the film, but this is not that version.
