One question, do i need to have full set of districts to start with the towers n houses, i mean i need full color group to start buying towers and houses like the classic monopoly? or when i just beigin the game i can buy houses n towers with 1 district.

@Terrorsoul023 No you can start building with one district but when you get a full colour group also known as a monopoly, you can build a skyscraper which doubles the rent values of that group. If you get two monopolies, you can build a monopoly tower which doubles the rent value of everything you own.

It'd be cool if they implemented airports. You could fly from one of your properties to another once in a while…. maybe if you have an extra card for this purpose… get out of a tough situation or set yourself up for a good move. If another player owns an airport, you could pay that player to land on it or to use the service. Just improvising here… Hasbro should do something about it! There's nothing more modern for transportation than going 500mph in the air.

i think the orginal Monopol is a litle boring, i find it so repetetive with verry litle choises to make. Only dice rolling. Will i find this more atractive you think?

I love this game. My wife and I play one-on-one almost every day. lol Our games can get pretty intense sometimes. The building system is spectacular, and there can be a lot of strategy in buying up the last houses to make your opponent(s) buy the more expensive industrials.

Also, quick tip for everyone; this is what we do when we play. I also have the electronic Here & Now Monopoly, and we use the credit system from that game for City.

Anyway, great review. Great game.

I actually have this game, and it's really pretty awesome. Once you learn the somewhat complicated rules and in's-an-out's of the game...it's a blast to play. The railroad system is really cool...and adds a nice strategic element to the game.

Boardwalk would be compared to Diamond Hills and then Park Place would be compared to Fortune Valley. These are the two most expensive spaces on the board.

The retail list is about $39.99 but I've seen most stores selling it for around the $29.00 price range. If you go to my blog and click on the Monopoly City link within any of the posts, you can buy it for $25.00 from Walmart. I'm not sure if that's an online special or not.
