@militaryfan90 - I operate a tiltawhirl at an amusement park, and contrary to popular belief, it is mostly the operator that controls the spinning. When people leans, it sometimes actually messes up the setup we are trying to get the cars into to make them spin.

I operate the largest coaster in the park i work in as well and Tilt-a-whirl is definitely still awesome compared to it. the reason it is so much fun to operate is because you have full control over the spinning and it is almost like a "game" while youre operating it.

@militaryfan90 - pretty much anything goes to get the cars to spin. Keeping it high gear (there are 2) the entire time is not advised, it you keep it on the same speed for too long, none of the cars will spin.

@ajn0592 Hey, are there brakes for each of the cars? My son and I went on one a few weeks back, and the guy had us spinning blazing fast at the start (even had me worried), then slowed it down nice and smooth. But then at the end, he managed to get us whipping around for like 15 revolutions... after the ride had stopped. Then the car we were in seemed to slow quickly, as though he was applying a brake.

This ride can be nauseating, but it's all in good fun. Plus, it helps me get used to the weird sensation in my stomach when I go on the big coasters.........for the day I'm at the park, at least.

to make it spin faster u leen to the side witch way u about to spinn it works it wont make a mega diffens but it will work and it will really show when ur thing is full

I once rode this at a place and told the guys we'd driven for miles and miles just for the tilt-a-whirl...he really left us on for awhile.

To make it spin faster all you do is press your feet on the floor and lean back in the direction of the spin.This also works on the tea cups.

look for like a teacup ride like thing but its bears

and keep spinning in place when the ride stops

@southplnk Shit yeah! I'd love to have the Tilt-A-Whirl, Gravitron, Casino, and the Round-Up in my back yard. That would be the shit! Oh, I would also have to have the Rock And Roll Express ride to go along with them! And, of course, a LED ferris wheel would be a must, but mostly just to look at while riding all the other rides!

When you're going over the hill, you LEAN as hard to the side as you can, and you get going real good, and every other hill you hit, you continue to spin on. :3

Haa..we didn't WANT to make it go fast! I had just eaten way too many greasy, oily mini-donuts and Cokes and any more intense spinning would have made this a MUCH more interesting video! But I can't go to the fair without going on this ride!
