  • Sort of humping, right?!

  • I want to know if my body backwards is not able to reach the latter part of the rear wheel, is it difficult to raise the front wheel.?

because my bike's frame is bigger, and the stem is longer.

  • oooo manuals hahaha

  • I have a MTB and I can't freakin get this down... like I can't even get close

  • @AltAirPilot517 it is easier on a bmx, i don't even know if this guy said or not but here's a pointer 4 u switch break leavers so your back break is on the right, just place your index and middle finger on the break leaver before you pull the front wheel up and if you think your guna go too far back or flip tap the back break and it will bring you back down

  • btw give me a tip for finding a good TRIAL BIKE.. cause idk how a trial bike looks i mean gears where is the seat exact location and when u do tricks how are the tires SOFT HARD or how no flame pls :D im noob

  • hey guys ... i just bought a 2nd hand onza t-mag (big mistake) both of the brakes have broken already... the front brakes break cable has come loose from the lever bit on the handlebars and needs a new cable and rebleeding.... and the back break's cable (that connects the 2 pad bits that hit the wheel) has got a crack in it and all the hydraulic brake fluid has come out and the guy in the bike shop is charging me £40 to fix

  • ooo...manuals HAHAHA MADE ME LAUGH

  • For this do you pedal kick to get the front wheel up or just pull it up?

  • am trying to learn it now on my mtb :D

  • is this possible on a mountain bike? or do you need a specific trials bike?

  • No , the best bike is a Hardttail or a Dirbike

  • no just might be abit harder or you may need a different balance point

  • of course it's possible on a mtb - but it'll take time to learn it like the wheelie

  • for manual best dirt/street mtb.

  • dirt jump,or freeride

  • yes if u regular pactise its easy

  • you definitely dont, the amazing thing about ryan leech is that he does trials on a mountain bike. its just modified to be lighter. most mountain bikes are to heavy to do it, or the rider isnt strong enough to manouver the bike around.

  • well im 14 and i have a norco bigfoot (mtb) and i can do manuals. u just need to keep practicing

  • how long did it took you?

  • is that guy high? :P

    mmmmmmmm manuals

  • rite. i can maual on my old bike. but now im on a 26" MTB. nd i cant. any tips ? like light forks.. coz i hav RST-Laurnch :S

  • Keep practicing.

  • ohhhhhhhhh manuals LOL

  • lol he sounds so gay at the beginning

  • professional !

  • I find it insane how you do these tricks on such big bikes. I use a bmx bike and you can do all this stuff better than me haha

  • i seriously cant do this for my life....help....anything that culd help?

  • If you don't know yet, it helps if you know how to ride a wheelie first. Practice powering up, and keeping the front wheel aloft. Wheelies get you close to that magic balancing point. Then you'll feel comfortable moving on to manuals. And the world as you know it, will never be the same.

  • sweeet, thanx, i am quite good at wheelies....

  • oooooooooh manuals.......... one of the most enjoyable skills out there... hahaha so funny

  • his accent is great lol

  • dude this is actualy realy easy

  • nice man !!!!!!

    good job

  • what bike is he on?

  • Trail

  • Trial*

  • i gathered tht ;)

    wht type tho?

  • Lol sorry :P not sure :/

  • norco

  • Norco

  • He looks like he is part of his bike, he is astounding. Very iconic character.

  • sweet

  • why does this guy where a helmet at the start when he is talking? lol

  • I have been trying these loads, however I am not really improving. Any tips for a beginer on how to pull it up at the start?

  • dano0121,

if you're having trouble getting the front wheel up try using a small pedal kick, or like your doing a zap tap, and don't forget that you can't get the wheel up just using your arms, you have to practice getting your legs just right for so you can shift your center of gravity back behind the rear axle.

  • dirtbike

  • what bike is it

  • Looks very funny :)

  • use am bmx bike

  • ugh i cant freaking do it on my bike.. my shocks are like SUPER HEAVY > >' i need a new bike..

  • nice i can do this with no brakes

  • ooooooo manuals, lol

  • im pissed. i learned how to do a manual on my mountain bike than i got a bmx bike cause i was gettin into the trick side of biking. well anyway i had to like relearn how to do all the tricks i had already learned on a mountain bike. for example to manual i could use suspension as an exta bounce to get my front tire to the optimal balance point consistently. i didnt realize how much i actually do that till now. cause i went to manual on my new bike and it was like what is going on?

  • Haha! I just did the opposite, i switched from a bmx to an xc mtb. Gotta get used to the extra size!

  • mmmmmmmm yeah you are a gay biker

  • LOL! Gay or not, the man has skills!

  • for fuck sake hes so gay

  • too bad hes a beast...

  • Where do you buy those kind of bikes

  • good

  • omg you are so pro

  • yes

  • thank you you were a big help

  • omg i cant pull up while having a finger over my back break i have to have all my fingers on the grips.. any tips?

  • yeah, one day and a lot of progress! but still difficult!

  • I'm kind of gettin' it, this vid really helped a whole lot! but still it's difficult man! who ever can do long smooth manuals has great balance in his guts! :)

  • "oooh manuals" Lol...

  • im 12 and my friend has a bmx and i know how to manual just cause i learned from this vid yesterday...

  • oh nvm i was trying to learn a wheelie not a manual lol

  • omg i tried that and my bike just falls the ground all the time i have to pedal to do a manual

  • can you please make a video on how to do nose manuals? and also you are the best biker i have ever seen!!!!!!!!!

  • you are awsome and nice bike

  • hey i have a 20" frame mtb i find it impossible for a mannul as when i stand on the floor my ball are nearly crushed by the frame is it possible to mannual with if or not?

some one please help me out with this one.

nice vid by the way A+

  • you should still be able to manual your bike. it will be a lot harder to find that balance point, but you will find it easier depending on the frame geometry. a frame that is more sloped toward the back in the rear will manual a little easier. (well pop up easier for you) try keeping your legs more straight on a 20 inch frame only bend your knees when you start to feel your front tire wanting to fall back onto the ground. hope this helps.

  • dude you came to my school in salmon arm, you rock!

  • that's an awsome move dude!!! =DDD really smooth

  • sweeet video.. Super clear instruction!.. Thanks m8... =)

  • Is it me or does anyonelse hate the way he says "Manuelllls" in the very beginning? A little unsettling. But then again he can balance on a strand of dental floss 30 ft in the air so...wutever.

  • wtf do we care about that???

  • Nice.Good

  • this guy helped me n now i got a vid check it out, RYAN RULES!!!!

  • subscribed !! these are great !! thanx

can wait for a new deralia for my bike =P

  • cheezche im shit at this

  • oo manuals

  • i can go for as long as i like now at high speed i can do 7 car parking spaces easy and that takes like 3 seconds u fool ur overestimating

  • I wouldn't call Ryan Leech a fool, being one of the top trials riders in the world, I think he knows what he's talking about.

  • all my manuals turn into a coaster wheelie its annoying

  • iv been practicing manuals on my 20 inch ashton jusice for 1 week and the longst manual i have done in time is 11 seconds when i was counting, when i wasnt counting i got 7 car parking spaces. is this any goos or not?

  • which tricks should be first for learning?

  • wheely than wheely drop

  • the longest manual iv ever done is 6 seconds and thaqts about 3months practise

  • lol, i started riding 2 weeks ago, and i can do 12 ish on my rev xD
