Thunderbolt was an old man here... Don't ever think this was the Legend himself in his prime! I loved watching GCW because Gordon Solie sold pro wrestling as legit better than any commentator in the history of the industry...
Ole didn't hate anyone, but he was EXCELLENT at making you believe he did. His strong point was to do a shoot and make damn sure you were sold everything he was bringing. I've had more than one post match meal with Ole, and he's a wonderful human that loved the business, the workers, and the fans.
Ole Anderson was old school and couldn't stomach wrestling in the mid 70's & 80's when the young kids with looks and some skills got pushed ahead of wrestlers that had put their years in working there way up thru the ranks.
Wrestling the way it should be: interviews for one minute or less, lots of action --- with genuine WRESTLING: no chairs to the head, no jumping out of the ring, no playing up to the crowd. Action in the middle of the ring, not outside of it.
WWE/f bought it,right before the first Wrestlemania...
That's where that wave of wrestlers came from before WM,wrestlers such as Jimmy Hart,Jim"the Anvil" Neidhart,King Kong Bundy. WWE had episodes at the Superstation studios in Georgia at one point.
you might want to read up on some history, ole anderson,Dusty Rhodes were leading the charge for the first black world champ. they caught alot of heat for their views, that's why ole was never a world champion!
Ole's no racist! HE PUT THE BELT on thunderbolt many times!!!! Ole was a class act and a square shooter as a wrestler and as a human being. Ask the dumb ass Samoans who is racist!!!
