  • the more the better when your trying to monitor 10 cities

  • Why do you need so many scanners.... one or two seems like plenty. This setup is cool but very redundant

  • Why do you need so many scanners.... one or two seems like plenty

  • you can still listen to Kelowna RCMP and police districts, as well as Vancouver Fire and BC Ambulance on radioreference or scanbc

I just uploaded Vancouver Riot live scanner recordings:

  • what tape of antenna do you have for your scanner site up ???

  • I have two one all band and one 800 band on the roof I used to have 8 in my van

  • roof mounted antennas?

  • Useless! You can't pickup Vancouver police anymore. It was the best show in town years ago with VPD channels 1-5, but its gone now.

  • sorry i cant share that info

  • Which vhf / uhf frequencies do you normally listen on? IIRC, burnaby fire is still analog, e-comm has an analog dispatch frequency (but they use EDACS for most things), skytrain and canada line are still analog..

  • No I can't monitor them anymore

  • In the old days you could listen to Vancouver City Police until they went digital. Are you able to monitor them now?

  • the small one on the left is a uniden bcd 396xt digital scanner 25.000 channels location based scannig

  • Wow that is an Awsome setup, what typ of scanners are those? I have two scanners, a uniden BC72XLT 100 channel 10 bank scanner and a Grecom PSR-100c 200 channels, neither cover 800-1200 Mhz unfortunately.

  • thanks. I really find the behind the scenes aspect interesting, and being a gear nut I always love to see the toys we use to do our jobs / hobbies.
