Reading the bible without the Holy Spirit's help is useless - even dangerous.

You will end up a carnal, religious, legalistic pharisee - (and start posting those 'Exposed' type videos on youtube). Be filled with the spirit and the bible will come to life.

Jesus is The Word and The Word is Jesus. He didn't study anything. He was t he Word before anything was made that was made. Read John chapter 1. The Light shineth in the darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not.

@pnolanrn You need to be less mystical and start studying the word. Jesus was supernaturally natural very Man and very God. He studied the scriptures when He was growing up. Luke 2:46 says Jesus as a kid asked questions and listened to the temple teachers. Sermon on the mount quoted the Old Testament scriptures. Jesus discovered He was the son of God through the scripture too. Angels ministered to Jesus and although God Jesus depended on the Holy Spirit. He wanted to be an example to us.

Thou misquoteth.

Luke 2:46 does not say "studied". It does not say what His questions were. He often asked the Pharisees questions about themselves.

Read Luke 2:47. Everyone was astounded at His understanding, and His answers. He was not the one who was amazed. Read what the book of the Revelation. You need to know what the Bible says about those who change, or try to change the Scriptures.

@pnolanrn they were astounded by Jesus' youth. When you listen and ask questions amongst teachers, it really means learning and studying scriptures. Jesus is humble unlike you. Interpreting scriptures does not mean changing them. Stop acting like a know it all. Thou misquoteth? You are just like the pharisees. Trying to impress people with your religiosity.

I love Benny Hinn Messages he 's truly a man of God he prayed for my church and we got a financial miracle we know the people b their fruits ,those who think bad about him are just missing out on the anoiting that God has placed on his life ,sometimes we need to be led by the Holy Spirit adn not by other's people ideas or commentaries ....if they said lots of things about Jesus they will say lots of things about us also ...
