  • I so miss Cinema in the good'ol days when you told people at school how you watched 18 rated films at the big screens, especially Dracula!

  • Absolutely STUNNING movie about real vampires.Twilight is only stupid fairytale for stupid kids. -_-

    38 people don't know what's good. ♥

  • @osbournka Probably Biber Lovers

  • This is what a vampire really looks like kiddies

  • back in a time where vampires where actually vampires

  • I saw this teaser in the theatre in 1992 when my parents took me to see Batman returns and it was scary. It was pretty rare to show a trailer like that back in the day.

  • Er, probably been queried before, but how can a vampire film be too 'bloody'? Isnt that kind of the point?

  • Dracula T-1000

  • A T-1000 twist to bloody Dracula...nice:)

  • This is a great movie. The thing I love about it is that of coarse it is very true to the novel, and because it has a lot of stuff from other adaptations in it too, like when dracula rises from his coffin like in nosfertu, and when harker receives the crucifix necklace from the people in the carriage, like in the 1931 dracula....

  • Still the best vampire movie of all time.

  • If you are interested in the historical Dragwlya, checkout the trailer at dragwlya.com now!

  • Wanna hear a joke? TWILIGHT

  • @issamm Amen to that, Ol' Vlad would've had Edward for lunch,LOL.

  • @issamm LOL! It's the better joke I've ever heard hahaha!

  • @issamm that was no joke

  • @issamm 1:10 The Count laughs at your joke. So does everyone here.

  • @issamm TWLIGHT is a disgrace to the myth genre, I wish it was never made!

  • Always wondered why they pulled that trailer. I preferred this trailer.

I have the original Beware posters signed by Francis Ford Coppola - he was at SD Comic Con, met his son Roman too. Got pics, they were both really nice people.Loved the movie, yeah it had its faults but I can overlook most of them and just enjoy it for what it is.

  • ALL YOUTUBER !! THE DRACULA IT S FROM ROMANIA, NO RUSSIA , POLISH OR OTHER STATES

  • Bram Stoker's Dracula? NO! Francis Ford Coppola's Emo Dracula? YES!

  • bevare......take care.... bevare!

  • those orchestra hits are cheesy as fuck. double patty melt.

  • cool.

  • This blood morphing scene is very similar to the liquid metal cyborg from Terminator 2.

  • THIS is what I call a vampire.

  • BEWARE

  • Interview with the Vampire And Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula=GODS OF VAMPIRE MOVIES(p.s: i cant believe people are comparing the peace of shit twilight which is about gay pussy vampires that shine in the light to this EPICNESS AWESOME HARDCORE MOVIE, a new word must be created to describe the amount of epicness this is)

  • haha its no longer rarely seen. half a million people have seen it

  • Is Morpheus warning us? Who is speaking during this teaser?

  • I remember seeing this when I saw Hook at the age of 7. My dad told me to close my eyes right when the blood started to move, and of course, I didn't. Freaked me the hell out!!

  • 37 twilight douchebags disliked this

  • @zackattaxjoemama Zelda: Twilight Princess.

    Its a bad joke :P

  • I remember being a little kid watching the 1994 VHS of "Gladiator" and this trailor was on it. Used to scare the crap out of me, couldn't wait to see it lol.

  • This is the trailer that patrons complained of being too intense? Seriously? Come on! This is nothing! I guess those patrons are nothing but a bunch of wuss.

  • Thanks so much for uploading this.

  • Can you say "Hammer"?

  • @TheDarkPan STOP! Hammertime!!

  • Fantastic Film & Excellent Soundtrack

  • i know im going all out but this movie is one of my favorites of all time. twilight doesnt hold a candel to such an amazing movie.

  • my only problem with the film was Keanu Reeve's acent; other than that great film!

    P.S.: FUCK TWILIGHT!

  • ladies and gents lift your glasses in remembrance of the classic monsters: Nosferatu (vampire,) the flesh golem (Frankenstein's monster,) the wolfman (werewolves,) and the missing link (the creature from the black lagoon) if only we could bring them back. the masters of terror and nightmare our days would be brighter and our nights darker. may they rest in peace. and for God's sake some one please put the whole twilight series and studio to the torch? for the sake of us all.

  • @drstrangeman kids would always be afraid to walk out of their house.....................but it would be cool to be a vampire. PS i hate twilight too

  • that's what monsters did, scare the living shit out of children. but also create good stories with meaning behind them and that would also make things so much safer for kids if they did not go out at night look at it in a parent's perspective. as for twilight a thousand deaths are not enough for twilight. Stoker's Dracula was the vampire for over 100 years the scariest monster of them all. but twilight destroyed that reign in one book. an embarrassment to the genre of vampire. DEATH TO TWILIGHT!

  • @drstrangeman I second that!! And while we're at it. Re-release all the classic films of said icons or horror!

  • @gojirajin AYE! and if not re releace themre make them AND FOLLOW THE GORRAM STORY!

  • @drstrangeman Remade WELL of course.

  • @gojirajin exactly. get a crew together and make them

  • @drstrangeman I would if I could. Sadly however I can not.

  • @gojirajin if you got a little cash, know some people that have some kind of acting skills, people that have done tech crew, and some actual nerds that can program/make costumes/ have access to materials/ect, and a location and some cameras/film you can and would be able to put it in theaters. look at paranormal activity it coast about 10,000 to make if that and possibly/more likely a lot less. for tips and help look at fbx here on youtube they help out indie movie makers.

  • Kind of remins me of Terminator, haha :-)

  • @Calucifer13 We'll they we're both made around the same-time

  • if you ask me, this movie was better than the old dracula, cause the movie was pretty dated and to be honest i thought some of the acting was prtty bad

  • Too bloody my ass!

  • this movie rocks! luved it from the very first scene! everything about is great, except for keanu reeve's shitty acting: the cinematography, the art design... coppola's a genius

  • @movierock69 Coppola didn't want to cast Reeves. It was only because he was popular with the chicks in those days that the studio wanted him in the movie!

  • @ufuckfacesonofabitch ya, i know... it doesnt matter, still a great movie

  • @movierock69

It's funny how everyone hates Keanu Reeves yet he was in most of the blockbuster movies of the 1990s.

    I guess he's just lucky!

  • 1:07 the absolute greatest evil laugh of all time

  • For me the best Draculamovie ever!!

  • @annermirl Gary Oldman is amazing...in this role particularly so

  • @kohstamojahn absolute!!

  • This a really good movie, i try to stay away from the teen vampire movies of today. Because they are made for fast consumption. If you are a teen or young adult you most likely love Twilight because it was made for your demographics. But, masterpieces stand the test of time.

  • BEWARE......but seriously, see the movie. :) lol

  • P.S: 37 retards missed the like button.

  • I love that laugh at 1:06.

  • @MrJackal95 O HELL ya...greatest laugh ever

  • Great movie, but the blood looks so fake in this trailer. It's like red acrylic paint.

  • @Nomoreidsleft Cos it is. Special fx weren't always this good. But look how they compensated - it's still a great movie, despite the old sfx.

  • The only thing offensive about that preview was the cheesy 1980's sound effects every time a shot ended.

  • @Hibryd7 haha yeah it's not like it even shows the naked vampire vixens.

  • This was too controversial? Come on, was America really that weak to see THIS?

  • @fusock this was a shitty trailer dumbass, ass but the mvoie is good

  • Keanu Reeves should have won an award for his work in this film. It was a most excellent performance, dude! (strums invisible guitar)

  • I have seen this a few times. Great movie!

  • Why is this movie the best vampire film? Because it is the most original film adaptation of the legendary Bram Stoker's Dracula. There has never been a film like this (before or since).

  • I'm on Team Dracula

  • This would have been a lot better if they did not cast Ted Theodore Logan. That shitty accent he does just makes me laugh.

  • too bloody??? wtf do you expect from a creature that DRINKS blood

  • Underrated by the masses, but what a film.

  • too bloody?!? this movie is the shit:)

  • This was considered TOO bloody?!?!? I've seen trailers that had higher body-counts than this entire film.

  • This film is f****n brilliant with one of the best intro's I have ever seen on the big screen. I would agree Twilight has nothing on this masterpiece.

  • I think this is one of the best films ever made. It's funny how people often say "this movie is not as good as the book" just like with The Lord of the Rings. Cinema and literature are different arts. Movies are a combination of music, theater, storylining and graphic art. Literature is about ideas, thoughts and imagination. This movie is a masterpiece in every way and, at least for me, just as good as The Godfather and Apocalypse Now.

  • @carmaj156 Yeah, it's as close as you could reasonably expect. Anyone whining that it 's not close enough to the book is willfully ignoring the fact that it is still the most accurate film version ever made, and that adapting a novel to film is NEVER 100% accurate. How could it be? Think about that for a second.

  • @carmaj156 +10000

  • funny how you all come into this movie wanting violence but are too squeamish for O NOES NOT SEX!

  • Terminator vampire.

  • rarely seen? I must of seen this teaser 10 times in the theatre back when this came out...

  • @ElectricAfroMan Yes, me too!! But the teaser was better than the film...

  • @trunzina Ha ha, true. Who cast keanu in this turd?

  • @ElectricAfroMan He´s supposed to have a british accent - I just found out today and I saw this film when it just came out in the cinema.

  • @ElectricAfroMan from IMDB trivia: "Francis Ford Coppola has openly criticized his own reasoning for casting Keanu Reeves as Jonathan Harker. According to him, he needed a young, hot star that would connect with the girls. "

  • When watching this teaser you're fooled to think it's a real horror - instead they butchered the original story and turned it into a cheesy romance.

  • @MsSarjen Yep, the book is much creepier... the film was kinda bluntly horny, though.

  • @trunzina IMO the book was much boringer and I like the sexual aspect of the film.

  • @MsSarjen It probably would have felt boring & emotionless without that element

  • @TheIntenseIndieGamer No, with this element it BECOMES boring.

  • @MsSarjen This is a matter of opinion obviously and it seems to me this new element was added to the story as part of the adaption process. The title clearly indicates that they intended to make a faithful adaptation, and I think they simply found this added more humanity to the story (relatability is important in storytelling).

To me, this appears to be a matter of yet another fanboy willfully ignoring the realities of the process of adapting a novel to film. Liberties HAVE to be taken.

  • When I first saw this trailer online, I can see why this teaser was pulled. Very few trailers had little or no blood, unless if it was a red band trailer that had lots of blood; this teaser, which was shown before many summer movies in 1992, was a green-band trailer that broke some rules. I used to own an NES version of the Dracula game, which I beat with my game genie. Good graphics, a haunting soundtrack, and good controls. I got that for xmas 92 since I was too young for the movie.

  • hard to choose between this and the old one with bella lugosi

  • My favourite movie :)

Though if you want to see another awesome Vampire movie watch 'Nadja'.

  • great trailer

  • Nothing like the book.

  • @BelovedCaptain

Ahh who cares if something is different from the book

A book is a book and what works in print isn't always what works on film

  • The trailor's awesome!!!!!!!!

I have this Dracula movie at home, it's the best that's been made so far. Though I haven't seent eh one that premiered in 2003, so I can't be sure.....

  • I remember when I saw Batman Returns in LA on opening night, 1992, they showed this trailer. The audience literally gasped and then broke out into applause. They also showed the trailer to Unforgiven, which is also awesome

  • @boyinthedrain I remember this trailer too, Ijust love this film!

  • Please, stop comparing this movie with Twilight. Twilight doesn't even deserve to be compared to this movie.

  • @TheZombieGebster

    HELL YEAH!!!!!!

    Twilight is for little girls!

Coppola´s Dracula is, and will always be, the BEST Vampiremovie EVER!!!!

  • rewatched this movie like twice last week

  • Daca vreti sa vedeti cu adevarat ceva spectaculos, vizitati satul Pestera.

  • stunning film. the only adaptation that actually captured the sensuality of the novel as well as the gothic horror.

  • Best vampire movie ever!

  • I remember seeing this teaser in theaters when I was a kid, 6 yrs. old I think, and it creeped the hell out of me!

  • Bram Stoker made the eastern european myth of the vampire proud...I mean excellent take on it and Coppolla made a nice twist on the story, every other interpretation of the vampire after this has utterly FAILED.

  • Do you know who is the actor who played the old dracula beginning has been made up well? Thanks

  • @79Efrem That was Gary Oldman; he plays Dracula all the way through the film, in all the different forms he takes on throughout

  • @vastato2006 Thank you

  • I liked it its not graphic at all just cool graphics for that time, surprised they pulled it.

I have seen scarier horror clips in the 80s they didnt pull. wtf?

  • @frenchrevolting 1992 wasn't THAT long ago as far as special effects are concerned.

  • o rety o ,O

  • We were asked to pull this trailer because it offended some customers...

  • @whitmer73 We?

  • @marcpreston1 my theatre got a memo to pull the trailer off screen....

  • @whitmer73 Sounds like you must have been in some sort of tiny hick town of frightened pious hillbillies.

  • @TheBratKingJareth Yeah some moron manager/projectionist played it on a G or PG movie and blew it.... I played it on PG13, or R and had no complains. Good trailer

  • Dracula sucks!

  • Wow now I remember this trailers even though it came out so many years ago! This is a true vampire love story. Great way to look at the book version and by far my favorite re telling of the tale. Love Gary Oldman. <3

  • More like cheeser. I'm glad they changed it, this version doesn't represent the actual film very well (like many nowadays).

  • The most beautiful film of vampires

  • Dracula... I love the movie... it has my age +.+

I saw it for the first time when I was 7...

But the book... well, it's not so romantic but it's a bit boring, so, yay movie :D

  • @morenakidah

really..I just finished reading the book and thought it was really good-Mr. Stoker made Van Helsing such a badass

and I thought the romance between mina and johnathon was sweet and the added twist of Arthur having to kill the vampire version of the girl he was going to marry..

    anyway I liked the book..

  • @girlwatchingvideo

yeah, go van helsing xD the twists were awsome indeed :D

did you know that there is a book, posthumous to stoker's death, where his notes from other characters and what happened to the main ones were compiled? I saw it on a bookshop the other day... lol xD so...

I also liked the book , but what i loved more about the movie was the fact that mina was dracula's lost bride - that was heartbreaking, i guess. =x

  • @morenakidah really! That's kinda cool because as I was reading the book, the first part of it says that Dracula loved at one time, but it never tells you who-maybe those notes would have exactly who it was he had this love affair with...

  • @girlwatchingvideo Yeah! Maybe. I don't know. In the cover said that those notes refered to what had happened to the characters 20 years later. I'd love to read it but at the moment I couldn't buy it :( I hope you're luckier than me ;D

  • how in the world did gary oldman produce that laugh??? and the way he was looking just before his laugh, creeped the living daylights out of me!!!

  • Well when a movie is produced by a man named Fred Fuchs you know it has to be good.

  • I didn't really care for this version. Gary Oldman's dracula was far too sympathetic. It is, howveer the first to have all the major characters present.

  • i do apreciate !

  • F*cking Hugh Jackman, I'd rather see Mr. Hopkins kicking vampire *ss!

Oh, and by the way, Vampires are sexy because the are dark, mysterious, sinister, and evil. NOT because they are little emo vegetarian fags who glitter.

  • @crazy4sian What does this have to do with Hugh Jackman though? He wasn't even in any related movie.

  • @DarkAdonisVyers Hugh Jackman played the Dr. Van Helsing in the movie, "Van Helsing". The legendary Anthony Hopkins played Dr. Van Helsing in this movie. I hope this clears things up.

  • Thnx for the original trailer...

    Danke schon

  • twilight's cheesy love story aint got nuthin on this masterpiece.

  • @wKoRpZw this has an awful love story! The book is a master-piece

Bram Stoker's novel defeat's Twlight and this film 'adapation' (which dare's to use Bram Stoker's name in it's title) hand's down.

Dracula + Mina never loved each other in the book, plus the whole prolouge is sort of a joke and Vlad the Impaler is in no way sympathetic (look up his crimes.)

  • @wKoRpZw too true...but considering they just don't make new movies like Dracula anymore Twilight is alright..

  • @wKoRpZw

    What's wrong with Twilight?

I don't see why so many people dislike it. It's one of my favorite Zelda games.

  • @IshidaTheQuincy He means Twilight as in the vampire-show, not as in the Legend Of Zelda game

  • @Deader87

    It's a joke.

  • @IshidaTheQuincy we mean the gay vamp movie called twilight

  • @halloweenfriday

That doesn't stop me from making a joke. :D

  • @IshidaTheQuincy Well played!

  • That develisch grin, how long did he practice on that?? I find it genious..XD

  • How do we go from Dracula to sparkling fag vampires..? The first Blade movie was the last great Vampire movie.. IMO..

  • Blade 2 is an awesome flick as well don't you think?

  • @Eagle971 30 Days of Night; wonderful movie. Goes back to Vampire roots where they were evil, cruel, heartless beings who only wanted to kill and feed.

  • Vlad and Stefan probaly saved europe from the ottomans.

  • Who needs vampires that sparkle? This one turns into a bat creature and a wolf. Beat that Edward.

  • ohweeeeeeee

  • I am from Romania, the story of Vlad Tepes is true, but we never do know how he died,is a mystery.I know the name "Dracula" since i was a kid.Anyway is the best Dracula movie ever.

  • For me, Louis Jourdan's "Count Dracula" (1977) was the true rendition of the book with only a few exceptions. Coppola's version is wonderful to look at but it is heavily flawed.

  • I absolutely love that film, and Gary Oldman is gorgeous.

    Regards from Germany.

  • This is a great vampire movie. Better than the CGI crap nowadays. Gary Oldman is superb. This role and his performance in 'Leon' are brilliant.

  • THis is the best fuckin dracula ever!!!!!!

  • I remember when Vampires used to be cool. But now the emos and tweens got into them just like they did with the nightmare before christmas. RAGE

  • Dracula the Un-Dead totally sucks

    Bram Stoker's Dracula rules!

  • vampires i wonder if they have problems with hepititas and aids or do they all aquire some kind of vaccine.

    my spelling is BALLs sry

  • Unholy moly! How have i not seen this film? I shall buy this on DVD immediatly! Enough of sparkly vampires, Let's get back to the old skool xD

  • @VashDraven im sorry i couldnt warn you 5 months ago when you posted this,
