  • Nice truck, makes me want to get one!!

  • running way to rich

  • How much would this cost to do on a Losi Micro? What if it was 4WD and had 4WS?

  • Just did this to my LST. Took a min to figure the steering links out but it works. still need to link the servos together but for now i have the rear steering on a 3rd channel.

  • Sweet. I love the 4WS.

  • Nice job it's not eveyday you see a 4ws nitro rc truck. I wish I could do my Savage like that any tips would be welcomed.

  • You might be able to do the Savage, I just duplicated the front LST suspension at the rear and modified the chassis slightly to suit, then fitted a third servo, to be fair the LST already have the servo position drilled in the chassis!

  • @Desawa82 Someone told me I could do it, but they didn't give me more details so I just gave up and said they heck with it, but you my friend have giving me more info on the conversion. So all I have too do is duplicate the front to the back? sounds easy i'll give it a try thanks for the info.

  • @civicmaneg6 You may have to shave down the metal brace that connects the pins on the a-arms and the plastic piece that goes behind that(basically removing those bumps on the bottom of the metal bracket). Thats what it took to get my steering to be smooth and not bind. Im gonna try to post a tutorial soon.

  • @Flippit1303 OK coo i'm looking forward too it thanks for the reply and the help.

  • monster trucks,,,,,my favorite!!!!

  • coooles video

  • did it come with 4 wheel steering

  • @cesar11duran No I modified it myself by adding the steering system parts from the front, to the rear, simples!

  • the car crush looked real

  • where did u get this truck

  • @cesar11duran Losi, Horizon Hobby outlets.

  • Where did you get the for wheel steering from? I have a LST the 1ST Gen. I want to put that on my truck.

  • I converted the rear to match the front by adding a steering kit and modifying the chassis rail. Dead easy, great fun, extra realism, so do it!

  • what cam did you use on board? looks good

  • That was the Fly Cam One2, but I have the Fly Cam One ECO now and it's even better!

  • not much tread on them there tires boy.

  • The real monsters actually shave their Tyres tread off to reduce rotating mass, did you know that?

  • where did u buy your rc car and how much did it cost u?

  • Many hobby shops, both real and on line hjave kits like this for sale, price varies by country.

  • so u put the new throttle servo and steering in but how do you get the rear servo to turn the opposite way of the front. if the front go right the back go left. what do you meen by y it into the receiver. also, when ever you turn regular will it turn the rear wheels to or will i have to do that myself

  • The original Transmitter is only two channel, but the receiver is three channel, so the extra servo went in there. A New transmitter allowed fine tuning and selection of steering modes by mixing channels

  • sick editing

  • Glad you like it, I just wish more people would edit what they post on you tube to keep it entertaining instead of just posting the whole footage including boring bits.

  • That's sick I like it, how'd you do it ?

Awesome vid ! LOSI RULES !

  • Just added the steering parts at the rear of the chassis, was simply really but very effective.

  • Yeah, I kinda figured that....but then did you just add another servo to the rear of the truck where there is a space for one ?

And did you need an extension for the servo to plug into the receiver ? - Thanks

  • As I have another Spektrum radio (DX3R) I plugged the rear servo into channel three and played with the mixing so I could 4WS or crab at the flick of a switch, but yeah you could just use a Y lead and a 2 channel radio.

  • Right on, that's cool.....I might have to try that since I have a 3rd channel on my JRXS3 Pro reciever which I use as reverse right now on my LST2. - Thanks

  • How much did you pay for your Raminator??? I Just bought a Brand New 1/8th scale Nitro for $200. It's in the mail on it's way to me. I have Always had Electric so this is my first shot at Nitro. I hope I like it.

  • wat parts could u tell me that i need i tried to get the magazine but i cant can u plz tell me

  • The spare parts are basically the steering system, with a little chassis modification just installed at the rear with an extra servo and Y lead to the receiver or third channel if you have a fancy 3rd channel mixing radio.

  • dud is a fucken good video you should make more

  • Cheers, I have several videos in my collection you might like, check out the extreme Traxxas Summit dunk test!

  • That's really cool! :)

  • i am planing to get the 1\36 micro dodge raminator.

  • Did you put a steering servo in the slot under the fuel tank where the rx pack sits?

  • yup, a servo hole is already in the chassis under the fuel tank, didn't but had to modify the side rails to clear steering links. Copy the front.

  • cool thanks i have an lst and i've been thinking about makeing it 4ws since i can do servo mixing with the third channel on my controller since i put the forward only conversion in it

  • how do you

  • 4ws just like its big brother. well done.

  • Yup, 4WS brought a whole new level of reaslism to the model for very little effort. I can even crab or opposite lock at the flick of a switch on my transmitter!

  • thats really cool... i have a 1/18 raminator on the way right now... can't wait to get it... used to have a gas stadium truck from kyosho, but had to get rid of it... im stuck on the minis at the moment..lol...

  • Yeah the mini trucks can be fun, and used indoors in the quiet too!

  • thats why i got what i did....that way i can play indoors when its crappy outside...but i can go out too if i want.... i can't wait to get it!...

  • man, it an ok truck, but i would get the aftershock if anyone wants a truck, gr8 truck, i own it, it also come with a better radio than the raminator, just saying

  • how u make rear steering?

  • As per reply to earlier post...

I did the 4WS as part of a review for the Raminator in Radio Race Car International magazine, you can read all about it in there, it's basically all the front steering gear duplicated and a few simple mods to the chassis, a Steering Y Lead and a servo that turns the opposite way to the front servos, or a three channel radio with mixing capabilities.

  • find some bmx or skateboarding ramps and those come about that size or bigger.

  • go buy them at walmart or sports authority any sporting goods store has em

  • If you are in the UK they were from Argos, designed as Skate board and BMX ramps, you should be able to find them anywhere in the world, or by mail order. I have 4, they come in real useful!

  • dood,a t-maxx would pwn that shit but that shit is still amazing

  • Glad you liked our shit dude, we had shit loads of fun putting that shit down, and it's had shit loads of great feedback from a lot of dudes.

  • thats alot of shits...

  • :-)

  • No wonder I couldent find anything lol!

It's just money is a BIG issue!

  • I'm Trying to find a kit Version So i can build it myself :) But there is nothing on the internet!

  • The LST and LST2 and all variants like the Raminator etc only come as RTR kits, not self assembly versions.

  • Oh ok thanks anyway, ive gone onto thinking about buying the LST2 :) Watcha think?

  • The LST2 is a cracking truck, with improved suspension arms, wheels hex's etc, tougher than ever.

  • Hello there, with the raminator could you upgrade the transmission to a 3 speed, not with reverse just gers one two and three? and also how much would this cost ? (Im british)

  • I don't know of a way to get three speeds into the Losi gearbox, revese cannot be adapted into a third forward gear as it is on the wrong side of the box hence rotates backwards. two gears is plenty though, seriously fast in the top of second gear!

  • the t-maxx would own the raminator in r c and full size!!!!!!!!!

  • I recently bought this Raminator. Litterally just broke it in about 24 hours ago. I saw that you had rear steering. What would i have to buy to convert it to rear steer?

  • I did the 4WS as part of a review for the Raminator in Radio Race Car International magazine, you can read all about it in there, it's basically all the front steering gear duplicated and a few simple mods to the chassis, a Steering Y Lead and a servo that turns the opposite way to the front servos, or a three channel radio with mixing capabilities.

  • Awesome video guys! I really enjoy it. Looking for more now... Thanks.

  • did you have to build it how much

  • The kit Raminator comes straight out of the box ready to run for about £350 RRP, but I converted it to 4WS with a few spares that probably come to about £50 including the servo! Check out Radio Race Car International Magazine for the review and details!

  • can the ramionator reverse?if it can't is there somthing i can buy to make it reverse????????plz reply! plz and ty

  • No the Raminator does not have reverse like the Losi LST and LST2, but if you bought the LST gearbox complete, and an extra servo, and another transmitter with a third channel on so you can operate reverse you certainly could. If you want reverse it's probably quicker to buy the LST2 and get the tyres and bodyshell for the Raminator!

  • ho did you convert it. i hav a raminator nd i drive it in quiet small areas. also do u know if i can get a reverse

  • 4ws is a waste of time makes it slow cant turn going fast!!!

  • It depends what you want to do with it, if you want to go fast and make sweeping turns, yes 4WS isn't for you, if you want to put on a show in a restricted areas 4WS is perfect, and besides, we jumped it in the video, works for me!

  • yes true and it lookes cool too but i stricktly bash!!!!!!!!and change your clutch springs to savage springs and run 30%way faster mine pulls wheelies all day!!!!!!

  • what d0 y0u mean y0u can put the st0ck savage clutch 0n the raminat0r

  • not the clutch but the clutch springs !!then it engages sooner way faster

  • how did u put the 4wd on the Lst?

  • I did it as part of the review for Radio Race Car International Magazine, read all about it!

It wasn't hard, just a few problems to over come.

  • nice, i got a raminator its an awesome truck

  • 2 questions:

    1. is the raminator 2 speed?

    2. what video pregram did you use to make this video?

  • Yes the Ramionator has the same two speed primary drive as the LST on which it is based. But not reverse and low range like the LSDT and LST2.

The video was complied with my camcorder and Ulead VideoStudio 8.0

  • i have a wheely king that i made 4ws, not really like your nitro, but 4ws makes the wheely king more fun. drive more like a monster truck, and it helps in climbing the rocks.

  • the 4ws is nice! should have come from losi like that.

  • I quite agree, at RRCi we try to come up with suggestions and interesting ideas, sometimes they get taken on board, so you never know!

  • on mine i got the HT pipe and runs way better!!!!

  • Yeah I swapped the carb for my LST1 carb and it ran better, I might try the pipe too, cheers for that.

  • kool video

i went easterball thunderball event reminds me off tht lol

  • Cheers Dude, shame about the weather but at least the jets and monsters kept us entertained all weekend, check out their vids too !
