If you were hoping for another George Best or Seamonsters track, this isn't it but it is very Gedge. I'm reminded of all the times I've witnessed the reaction to new songs to the ear and the difference when the same song is played in subsequent tours.
Often I love a song when I first hear it but soon bore of it. Some songs aren't instantaneously liked but is still listened to 10 years later. Maybe your view will remain the same in a year.
Some of the best songs are the ones that grow on you, though experience has taught me that their is normally a hook or something that will bring you in and I can,t find it here.Perhaps I'l give it some more listens just in case. Still love em though, at least they are trying different sounds, like it or not.
