    I know what you mean about the hamburger dreams. 2 weeks after going vegan I dreamt about a burger. I was soooo disgusting; chunks of slimy fat in it. Yuk!

  • I tried a juice fast....I got far as 2 1/2 days and I gave into my starvation. I want to accomplish a 10 juice fast and hopefully a 30 day one...However, I don't hear many people touch on the extreme hardcore hunger pangs? Maybe its just me? How do you deal with the hunger?

  • be careful, don't do too much fattening foods, it will make you sick. Congrats and Good Luck!!!

  • Hello well done you, but with regards to your dream. your body is actually talking to you. it doesnt really want the solid diet. that my opinion. We are spiritual on some level all of us. Listen to your body. I hope MY own jucing fast will go as well as yours did <3

  • @scary99man I made a vid each day I was on the fast including all the juices I made they are in a playlist in order on my channel under playlist 31 day juice fast, hope that is helpful to you it also shows the ups and downs that I went through and the spiritual awakening I experienced. Mostly Green juices with apples and lemon then I had a few days of only fruit juices like pineapple strawberry fennel and plain watermelon juice

  • @mzdiplomat1 I am just truly amazed that I completed it. I have a hard time completing things I start. I am in shock at the weight loss and I am more proud of myself than anything. Good feelings here :)

  • @PerfectPudding yes I have managed to keep the weight off and today I am officially 19 weeks pregnant. Raw food diet made me more fertile lol.

    Back to weight loss after May 21, 2012!

  • @SHICbeauty no I did not gain it back I stayed high raw. Now I am pregnant and plan to do another fast soon after I deliver :)

  • @shag813 Actually genius it's not that simple. Eating less does not equate to weighing less, and eating more does not equate to weight gain. If it was that simple then the science between nutrition and health wouldn't be so full of confusion.

    High nutrient dense foods are key. Plant based amino acids, fiber, fruit, and I'm a firm believer in quinoa and corn.

    There's studies where people lose weight on a BK diet, and gain weight on a "perfect" diet. Everyone is different, nutrition is not.

  • @shag813 wow way to be positive! why watch the video just to be negative. people do these juice fast to detox there body, INCLUDING there tastebuds. Many ppl who are over weight are that way because there ADDICTED to a lot of unhealthy foods. This fast allows you to start your self over the right way. Educated yourself before you speak... douche!

  • @shag813 Well point PROVEN! You are NOT starving yourself by JUICING you smart guy. What happens when you eat food? Do you know? I'll give you the preschool version. the food you eat goes to your stomach and acid then liquifies it and your body takes from that the nurtients you need. SO 1.) your not starving yourself your giving your body a break. Im WAY to grown to go on a back and forth on youtube lol. "shitty dell computer lol" wow yeah i can tell YOUR A WINNER at life... lol smh

  • @shannonchristine202 this was six months ago now and I have kept the weight off. I am now 4 months preg and still havent gained anything which does concern me but I am active and still eating high raw. TY so much for the support sweetie! I just recently posted a vid and you can see the weight loss still in my face compared to day 1 of the fast, I am so much thinner and healthier the re-boot was amazing and I WILL do it again bc I felt so amazing and stronger on the fast than ever b4!

  • @shag813 most educated people do not need to substitute intelligent words with swearing. I have actually kept the weight off and did not do the detox to lose weight. Now its time you troll somewhere else. Much love to you!

    I can't seem to find the serving size per body weight. I am 250lbs 6'2...1 cup seems kind of small, what do you think?

    how many cups is a serving size for you? how often do you drink a serving, every 2-3 hours? do you dilute juice with water if so what ratio?

  • @ejaracil I never diluted with water unless using the blender then a little to get it going. You could dilute though and can drink more that way prolly 1/4 water to 3/4 juice or half and half :).

    I would say 1qt (4cups) was a serving size for me every few hours..

  • I'm confused, you're first video talks about why not to do this for weight loss, yet it seems you only did it for weight loss?

  • @ss1975ma I did it for many more reasons than weight loss though that was only a part of it :)

  • im barely on my 3rd day, i live with my family and we LOVE food! haha i feel like im going to break!! ahhh haha and i work at a food place. ugh and everything i smell smells so damn good! haha im so glad i can find people like u who ican kinda take from and keep me going. hopefully i dont break before the 10 days! i did notice it is quite expensive tho! i spent 50$ on fruits and veggies that only lasted me 3 days! i dont know if i want to spend another 100$ on the days that i have left.

  • Oh wow, thank you so much for making these videos! I am looking into juice fasting and wanted to find someone else near my age/weight to see how it worked out for them, and you're a perfect example! The weight loss is so apparent in your face! You're awesome!

  • As a student, I would have like to have heard how the fasting affected you mentally. Early on you mentioned some headaches. Did you find your memory improve at all? The clarity of your thinking? Your sleep? (Hopefully you're getting MORE!) Also, with losing that much weight that fast and little extra exercise are you worried about lose skin flaps?

  • @creatress I had some fogginess bc of the detoxing but mostly more mental clarity if that makes sense. BC of the lack of sleep and lack of fats and information overload with nursing school I felt like my brain was fried at times.. But many nursing students expressed the same problems and they were not raw and were not fasting. I did find my memory to improve and was able to articulate myself better (at times lol) I found I NEEDED LESS SLEEP.

  • @creatress I slept very little and woke up with a spring in my step...and very energized, I just needed less sleep and still do. I sleep more now but still find I need less.. In the beginning of this whole journey I was so worried about losing the weight too fast and lowered raw intake and it just led to no good. So I eat as much raw as I want and figure it will work itself out. I used to be scared of saggy skin but raw foods help you tighten as you go, I will be ok and now exercise more :)

  • You know I am not doing the total fast, but I am replacing certain meals with just juice, maybe having one sold meal a day, usually a nice healthy Subway. Good job!!!

    

  • Congrats on ur fasting! Im very interested in doing it too and what did u do to prepare urself the week before? I have seen the film "fat,sick,and neatly dead" by Joe cross and he inspired me to do it and the website it's amazing you should check it out!

    I prepared with just eating raw and having mono meals. There is a few vids right before the fast started...

  • I FASTED ON WATER ONCE FOR 26 DAYS UNSUPERVISED AND I WENT ALL THE WAY DOWN TO 130 FROM A HIGH OF 215....THEN I SLOWLY WENT BACK UP TO 205...AT EVERY WEIGHT I WAS IN SUPERB PHYSICAL CONDITION...BUT NOW AFTER ALL THESE EXPERIMENTS, I THINK MY OPTIMUM WEIGHT IS AROUND 185, WHICH IT WAS FOR MANY YEARS ANYWAY...THE WHOLE TRICK TO ALL OF THIS IS JUST EAT LESS, YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO EXERCISE MUCH...AND DON'T EAT PROCESSED FOODS AND IF YOU DO, IT'S OK, KEEP IT TO A MINIMUM IF IT KEEPS YOU GOING.

  • KEEP GOING I ALSO LOST 31 POUNDS. I WENT DOWN FROM 206 TO 175 AT 6' I HAVE 2 BRAND NEW JUICERS ONE IS THE OMEGA 8006 AND I NEVER USED THEM, I ONLY EAT RAW FOODS, SOME TIMES I WOULD MAKE SOUPS OUT OF THEM, TEA IN THE MORNING AND THAT'S IT...175 IS PROBABLY TOO LOW FOR ME AND I'LL PROBABLY GO BACK UP TO 185...ANYWAY THE TRICK IS JUST EAT LESS, CUT YOUR GROCERY HAULS IN HALF...AND YOU'LL LOOSE EVEN MORE....I HAVEN'T EVEN DONE ANY EXERCISE, I'M A WORLD CLASS ATHLETE THOUGH SO I DON'T NEED TO.
