Man, I felt this could have been an epic game if they actually finished it. I just love the TFV composers music and was disappointed that the Broken Thunder OST wasn't actually used on TFVI.
the only thing it has in common with TS is that the same musician did some of the audio, and it seems TS weren't happy about it, as he's not doing any of the audio on the new PS2 game.
And it DID get released - it was sold at comiket in japan, and other doujin game outlets...
For those wondering this was in fact made buy tecno soft however the company was bought out buy another and this project was scraped however it was relesed on pc in its... well its current state with the OST and i few other tidbits word on the street is Sega now owns the rights and a studio is back up and running and that a new thunder force project is out this year in October but only in japan =/
Is This apart of the "ThunderForce" Series? I like the Game, and it seems Challenging. Where can you get this Game for PS2, PSP, or PS3, or DS, or anything?
@DGneoseeker1 Technically it was done by a company and the music composed by an ex-Technosoft member. But indeed it does scream "unfinished beta with bullet-hell design in mind". Factory Noise & AG went broke before they could make gameplay patches for it too.
Fun fact: This game was in fact made by Technosoft, but it's far from complete. The director thought they were only 1/3 of the way to making a game worthy of the Thunder Force name.
This obviously wasnt made by technosoft. This was made by other people that tried to keep thunder force 6 alive. And I agree, this is a huge letdown that needs a lot of work. I can not call it a revival of Thunder Force 6.
This looks like it IS fan made (nod to the comment below) and just had the music added onto it for authenticity.
I would imagine thunderforce VI to be at least a bit graphically more challenging than V as they pushed the boundaries with each title. Which is why I believe that this is fan made. Also - the music to Broken Thunder was released (some tracks anyways) so it is possible that its a fan made version.
This is a beautiful statement. My friend, you are a poet beyond the scale of Emily Dickinson, and you don't have all those hyphens everywhere, either.
At least R-Type Final and Gradius V were good. The horizontal shmup is dead.
That is an "equable" video. =p

WTH that Boss was supposed to look like? That wasn't a ship...I'm confused here...
Anyway, that probably was one of the hardest first levels I've ever seen on those types of games.

Good thing none of those little details make this any less fun of a game.
The music is epic, too! I'm looking for good remixes of the first level theme for my I-Pod as we speak.XD

@smashbrolink Seen SSH's version?
Or would you rather have the high-quality one straight out of the actual game (that only I seem to have)?
BPzeBanshee 1 year ago
@BPzeBanshee XD It's impossible for me to choose between the two!
If the SSH version had a download link in the vid description, I'd be getting it, too.XD
smashbrolink 1 year ago
@smashbrolink You can get it at SSH's website, should be able to find it looking on Google for Live House SSH.

Could some one point me to the right direction of where I could download this?!
I would love to try it.
I’ve searched everywhere, emule, torrents, pirates bay, iso hunt, search engines, etc... But with no luck!
Any help will be highly appreciated
Thanks in advance

this game had NOTHING to do with techno soft!
it's a "doujin" game - FAN MADE

Broken Thunder was originally to be Thunder Force 6.
I imagine this is some kind of half-completed version finished by fans or something like that.
