Animated does definitely not mean its just for children, just look at some of the ratings in the anime section of the video store. By far some of the most effective films and series for reaching a person strongly and emotionally have been anime.

Just finished watching the Avatar series after afew years of not getting to. It definitely shines in its final episodes.

I'm excited about the new series Legend Of Korra and all but a thought crossed my mind: Why don't they make some spin-off of the old series Legend Of Aang and the episodes will be about their adventures during the post war, when they're all apparently fixing the world. There will probably be flashbacks about that in Legend Of Korra but it would be nice to see some whole new series of the old gang with new adventures...Oh but I know it'll never happen, a fan can only dream so much... :3

@Ronpollacking Actually when you compare Avatar to Naruto, there is no competition. Avatar beats it hands down. It doesn't take over two hundred episodes or so for the show go anywhere, there really are no filler episodes in Avatar. And best of all, there are only three books in the series. Not twenty filler arcs that series didn't need but three book, each its own, unique experience. Not only that, but Aang is WAY less annoying than Naruto.

the story in Naruto is much more interesting then the story of Avatar,and there are much more characters you can connect to. if you ignore the filler episodes you could even understand what i'm talking about.

And yes, too many filler episodes DO matter because they can make fans loose interest in the show and turn it off completely for something that doesn't take as long to get to a point.

The Ending was awesome, Zutara Fans were heart broken, Katang Fans held parties, people started memorizing the show's bending techniques(well atleast i did XD), Azula went insane, Zuko will most likely search for his mother, Ozai is in Jail, and above all, A BATTLE THAT MAKES YOU WANT TO BE PART OF IT, HELPING ZUKO, AANG, SOKKA, OR EVEN OZAI.
