@BoboSab3121 I set my action really low. I like the grittiness of it. I press really hard. I do that by habit. I sometimes pull the strings off the neck. I had so many basses with high action when I was younger. It really got my hand strength up. I have to remind myself not to press so hard!
I know how to play, but always can learn something. What I've struggled with are the modes. I've read, re-read, and re-re-read countless web pages and other lirterature to try to learn modes on my own. I have the fingering down, I just couldn't quite wrap my head around the theory. Now here you are and all the pieces just fell into place. BAM. I am indebted to you, but until I can pay you better, please accept a thousand thanks and blessings!
when playing notes in modes must they be played in exact order??? or can u sometimes skip notes???
