It was when I decided to see how the japanese openings of Pokemon were, I went for a long time without even realizing that 'since Pokemon is japanese and an anime, it should have japanese openings, right?' and then I saw the japanese version's theme song for the first season and I'm like... that's why she's there? I was stunned and shocked like wtf?
