I also like the Tomcat, Warthog, Flankers and the Fulcrum. I don't know much about the Tornados so I can't comment on them.

@15Eagle22Raptor35JSF Check out some Tornado footage. The ground attack guys are nuts they operate full after-burner at 500 ft. They are a megapowered twinengine swing wing in ground attack and airsuperiority varients.

@EarlofCrawford Will do. Although to be honest I'm more of an air-to-air than air-to-ground guy (although I am very fond of Dale Brown's Megafortress/Vampire bombers if you have read any of his books. And if not, I highly recommend them for aircraft/Air Force fans).

they're some of the best. the eagle is the uncontested "king of dogfighting" and if a stealth variant is made, it will be very difficult to hit, let alone destroy.

I'm surprised that the F-15 Strike Eagle is still on production... It's been years since its introduction in like 1978 or somewhere close to then.

The F-15 came out 1972, and the -E came out a decade later. However, with newer technology coming out, and a great design already existing, the -K is the latest birthchild in the -15 family by McDonnell Douglas/Boeing company.
