Well, there are no words to say how much this anime is fabulous, the realisation (how the story of the movie is told...), the graphism, the OST and so much more. Makoto Shinkai is just a genious... And felicitations,your AMW is very good.
Well, as you can probably tell from my comment, I don't know the song name/artist, but the anime is a movie called "The Place Promised in our Early Days". Though occasionally "years" replaces "days". I would give you a place to watch it, but nearly every anime on the server I found a couple days after my comment were removed.

どこかノスタルジックで悲愴感が香る歌が映像と相まって、本来の映像作品を違った角度から見直しているような新鮮さを覚えました。歌詞そのものが（劇中の）ヒロインのサユリが置かれた状況、心境を代弁しているようにも感じられ、見るほどに感慨深いです。
ＭＡＤ作品でありながら本来の物語に忠実かつ上品に仕上げられており、製作者様の真摯に取り組まれた姿勢と、作品への愛情を感じました。とても美しい作品です！

the song's title is キミガタメ in japanese and it means "for you" in Engrish.
