  • I believe in His presence, but not through transubstantiation. His Holy Spirit brings me close to Him.

  • @bornagainsaint1 Then what do you believe Jesus means when he says, "He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood has everlasting life, and I will raise him up in the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him"? (John 6:54-56)

I honestly do wonder what those who deny the Real Presence believe about John 6 if you wouldn't mind sharing your thoughts. God bless.

  • @cburton103. one day at work during lunch i read John chp 6 and when i was finished i went back to work with such peace and joy, bcuz i focused on His saving blood sacrifice. This is what Jesus wants us to believe in - His saving blood sacrifice. He made a very strong statement pointing to is body and blood - what He did on the cross, and His resurrection proves that His saving blood sacrifice saves to the utmost. He wasnt talking about transubstantiation.

  • @bornagainsaint1 That's a touching story indeed. Jesus's sacrifice truly changed the world, and I pray that it would change more hearts every day.

However, you didn't explain why you think those verses don't prove the Real Presence.

As two extra bits of information for you:

    1) Eating someone's flesh already had a figurative meaning. It meant to defame or injure someone.

    2) Every Christian believed this until the last few hundred years. Even the fathers of the Reformation believed in Real Pres

  • @cburton103. His real presence is not IN something we are eating, His real presence is within us. John chp 6 proves His real presence through the Holy Spirit, but not IN something we are eating. We are not to put our faith in something we are eating, we put our faith in His real blood sacrifice when eating His supper, remembering His blood sacrifice. We can trust and believe in Him anytime, not just during the partaking of His supper.

  • @bornagainsaint1 Sorry, you're still ignoring Jesus's clear statement: "He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood has everlasting life, and I will raise him up in the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him"?John 6:54-56

My question to you is how your belief matches up with these verses. So far, you've only told me what you believe and not why you believe it in light of Scripture.

  • in "catholic" Malta - and before knowing anything/much about protestants - first time i heard this song i wondered WHO could be so poor as to have to IMAGINE being in the presence of the Living God as He comes to us in the Eucharist. I remember wondering how people can actually be "christian" and believe in God and not know that He's in the Eucharist - sadly there seems to be millions of people like this indeed - they miss out on so much... Nice video, thanks :-)

  • I am always deeply affected EVERYTIME I see pictures or videos of our Popes holding and raising the Holy Eucharist for everyone to adore and see...everyone.

  • I am not catholic but iI adore Jesus and love catholics , we all adore our KIng. And I believe he gave up his body 4 me and you

  • this is an update in my life, in 2009 the lord gave me a daughter and a beautiful wife. My life is now complete. I prayed that the Lord God send me an angel to make my life complete. He sent me 2 in one year. When my wife said i do, i cried with tears of joy, and when my daughter was born, the first thought that came into my life was i will do everything in my power to be a good father and husband. Praise to the true king.

  • AMEN & AMEN

  • praise to the true king of this world the only being i will bow down too and is worth of my worship

  • It's very beautiful and I am a Catholic so I agree that we can be in Christ's Eucharistic Presence here on earth. OTOH, in the Blessed Sacrament He is still hidden by the "sacramental veil," so to speak, so I still look forward to seeing Him face-to-face as described by the song. I don't exactly see any contradiction there.

  • Very beautiful!

  • Bautiful song! Beautiful Jesus! Isn't this the Christian version? Not Catholic or Baptist? Are we not one in Jesus? Just something to think about.

  • @alexaspierling1996 Absolutely...we are all Christians!!

  • This is such a beautiful video, God bless the maker of the video.

  • I've experienced JESUS true presence many times before the Blessed Sacrament. If only people would take the time to sit before the Blessed Eucharist, miracles would occur, and they would be transformed!

    Thank you for posting this!

    Pax,

  • Hint-- you should always disable comments on religious videos. It's not worth dealing with the morons.

  • @ohshhhhmamas

I disagree. I think being able to comment on religious videos is a wonderful thing! Yeah some people will rip it apart, and yeah that makes me sad, but the people who make me really angry are the Christians that respond to negitive comments in a harsh way. I firmly believe that we (Christians) may be the only Jesus someone sees. To post religious videos, to allow people to disagree, and to comment back in a loving manner is very powerful.

  • Beautiful, especially the end. God bless, Maria and Angelina

  • brilliant
