@Cytrome no nintendo didnt sell them out. nintendo owned a 49percent stake in Rare, while Rare owned the other 51percent. when microsoft approached them with a deal to buy them out, the decision was Rare's and Rare's alone. Rare decided yes and microsoft had to come to an agreement and buy nintendos share of the stocks which was like 310m dollars. So it wasnt nintendo's fault, it was all Rare's decision.
