  • are the tails good enoug for olies and kicks flips?

  • Setups?

  • I love you sal campos

  • @aswizzle I hate people like you who hide behind a screen and insult people, just get a fucking life. I would say go skate but nobody needs people like you skating so just fuck off and do something else.

  • check out my salamander video! its the sponsor me one

  • ahhhh i hate the sound of otangs! they suck. i hate em D:

  • DIRTY'S

  • Can these be wedged and dewedged for pumping , and if so what trucks?

  • stooooooooooked

  • Awesome video.. great skating!

  • soooooo gayyyy

  • so if i were to get this, should i go for paris 150's or 180's?

  • nice video but just a tip. do not carve or pump with your feet on the tail-not good. i slalom skate and thats a big no no. overall great skating :)

  • Does longboard larry sponsor you guys? Just wondering because you are amazingly good, keep up the good work!

  • do you think i would get wheelbite with randall 180s and bigzigs on the salamander?

  • cant wait to get this board for the holidays, pre planning my friend

  • how do you get on the Funkapotamus team?

  • go back to rip sticks if ur ganna do that lol

  • wow that looks like so much fun! id get one but i bet i try and do one of ur moves and fail miserably =P ur comebacks are hilarious that swizzle guy just got pwned! =D that was a great vid thx

  • @BADDPICKLE thanks, man, just start slow and build up. powerslides are fun on any deck.

  • hey u guys are rad

    u sponsord?

  • love the music

  • sweet vid i kinda want this board now

  • i cant take anyone with shorts that they bought ripped and protective gear seriously

and also why did you 2 do the same moves. made u look like buttbuddies to the extreme

    fags

  • @aswizzle haha, to the extreme, huh? you must be some sorta super douche.

also, were you born dumb or did you just fall on your unhelmeted head?

who even makes shorts pre-ripped, fool? and we wear pads 'cause we tech slide and we're not stupid, stupid.

also: they separately do different moves throughout the vid and only check/180slide in sequence. you'll only see what you want to see, but you'll have to look elsewhere for what you're lookin' for, my latent friend.

  • @TeamFunkapotamus ur gay

alot of fags have pre ripped shorts

    such as you

you mean you wear protective pads because ur pussies and you cant even do shit that looks stupid as fuck without getting ur knees scraped :'(

    long story short

u and ur friends buttfuck every night and every day

  • @aswizzle i'd call you an idiot, but you do a fine job of making yourself look stupid, so keep up the good work, dingus.

    long story short:

you have an unusual preoccupation with gay men and gay sex, to the point where everything you dislike is gay (because you hate yourself) and you're imagining complete strangers have sex (because you want to have sex with them). it's okay, swizzle, we're really flattered, but we jus don't swing that way. we hope you find your sherpa guide to mt gay, tho.

  • @TeamFunkapotamus OH DAYUM

  • @aswizzle Hahahha, you try ANY of those tricks without pads and you (since your gay and suck) will scrape your knees. They do it as a precaution. I don't think they want to become vegetables and such a young age. Fuckhead.

  • sweet vid guys, what kind of boards are they ? did you buy them as is or are they customized ??

i have a sector 9 with gullwing trucks and i love it but i has pretty much no kicks on it so you cannot pull of shoveits or manuals, just keen because i am in the market for a new rig and these boards pretty much look like what im after

you can see some footage of my deck on a video on my page, cheers from Australia :D

  • @tomwoodroofe this is mostly done on a Salamander prototype, we threw it on Paris 180s, Holeys and Tracker 161s. We liked the Holeys and the Trackers best. It's a fun little board, Larry may be coming out with a new one w/ less flex and longer wheelbase--stay tuned to his site.

  • just a quick question... Im not sure if you are familiar with the original S series trucks--- if so, do you think that they would work well, or should I just stick with tradtional kingpin bushing trucks for the sally? thanks! XD this board is sick

  • @TheOaks1993 you know thats an interesting idea. I'd say go for it. would you be puttin on 8's or 6's?

  • @Semlohwerd probably 6s. i have 8s on my path 37

  • @TheOaks1993 we're nah huge fans of spring loaded trucks, but we haven't tried 'em on this deck yet, so give them a go and let us know.

  • what do you think, loaded pintail vs. this? is it hard to dance on this?

  • is the salamander twintipped ?

  • this is fly. is it sturdy? i've heard about some bambo boards getting big cracks, does that happen with these?

  • @nassjay crazy sturdy surprisingly, but it does have a ton of flex. call Larry to get everything dialed in.

  • Yo, Im thinking about getting a sally... I would pobably put tracker 161s and either fat frees or stimuleses on it. Would this setup be good for dancing, shredding and pumping?

  • not dancing really, sally's a relatively short board so if you're looking for dancing go with a longer board... LBL Komodo is pretty much a 4 ft long salamander

  • Im not thinking in terms of cross-stepping,peterpans, walk the planks etc. Im thinking of more like tricky tricks like shuvits and hand tricks. I would still call them dancing tricks though

  • yeah the sally would work for stuff like that probably, i'm thinking of picking one up myself for next season, it'll be a significant upgrade from my sec 9

  • @POCKYTIME yes, but i'd recommend asking Larry for more plys if you're gonna be landing hard on it.

  • Haha it wouldnt matter for me ... im like 90 lbs :D

  • @POCKYTIME recommend 70mm and above, i didn't like the 65mm wheels on it, but they're nice and slidey.

can't go wrong w/ the trackers, my favorite trucks for this deck.

  • Ever ridden this board with Bennetts? Looks like a ton of fun. Keep on truckin. The haters can go have fun in Haterland. You guys put a lot of life into your ride.

  • @JeffVyain thanks, man. haven't tried it with bennetts, tho i think it would heighten the ride. we actually switched from reverse geometry trucks (randals) for the trackers due to the ride height.

  • these guys got style, and i love it

  • dude how are you saying theys guys dont have style

they have the style of SUCK ahhh

  • Yea 9'' chargers are dope. I rock 9" Paris trucks on mine while Jason sports 9" chargers

  • that was some very good editing!

  • How do you like riding the board with the 180s? Have you tried it with 150s?

  • what setups are you guys riding? and btw nice vid

  • Thanks, man!

The Dans are riding the Sallys w/ Paris 180s w/ Otang 4prez (70mm, 83a), though we're also real fond of running the Tracker 161s. Drops the board quite a bit and helps w/ the sliding.

  • i just ordered one! yay! and do you know if 9 inch gullwing chargers would work?

  • Man I was so stoked about this board until I saw this video. You all just take the life out of the board. You do hard stuff but it just doesn't look appealing. Your cross steps are so robatronic. I love longboarding and especially freeriding but the point of dancing is to look good not just to get the moves done. Also everyone is entitled to their own opinion, just because crave doesn't like your style doesn't mean you should rage on him.

  • Actually, the point of ALL the skate/vids is to have fun--period. Opinions are well 'n good, but talking trash is the domain of trolls, so if you spill vitriol here don't be surprised when you get splashed back. Crave jumped on the troll wagon when he called my brothers tools (personal attack) and said they have 0 style (obviously not true). They have a style--you may not like it, but you can't deny it. We've never claimed to be the best around, we just love to skate and make vids to this end.

  • Also: The Sally is a gnar little deck, tho what you see in the vid is how WE like to ride it--back foot on the tail, pumping like crazy, 360ing, sliding, nosing it out, little shuv here 'n there and checkin' like mad above all else 'cause that's how we had the most fun with it, so that's what you see.

If you don't like what you see, there's nah much we can do about it except to mention there are other LBL rider videos out there with the Sally. Run a search and see if it's for you.

    Cheerio!

  • Dude , if you dont like someones videos dont post um or watch um. Personally i love these guys style and i got to skate with them over summer. They definitely have some skills. Im not tryin to thrash on your opinion but atleast show some respect to a fellow longboarder. Its all about getting each other stoked to skate; not tell people you think they suck. I wish you the best of luck and hope you find the path of longboarding in its essence.

    SPREAD THE STOKE!

  • i a not a stoked killer in anyway, but when I saw the salamander video by chris b. and jadajar i wanted to buy this deck. then i saw your video and I lost my interest...these guys look like tools and have 0 style. lbl should have one video

  • You're welcome to spend your cash however you'd like, but calling my friends tools and saying they have 0 style when clearly they do (did you even watch the vid?) reflects poorly on you--it makes you sound like a troll

LBL sponsors us and other talented riders across the country, including Cole (Arizona) and Jason & Chris (NorCal).

We've tried doing a collaborative video, but it's easier for us jus to shoot and edit in our own small teams and that's how we're doing it. The more the merrier.

  • Chris B and Jadajars vid is ok but these guys give it so much more gusto... I have to say I couldn't disagree with you more.

  • haha cls represent anywho can i try out one of ur sallys to see if i like it, before ordering a komodo~ mark =]

  • For sure, man, you're welcome to try any 'o the LBL decks we have currently set up, jus send us a message through YouTube or Facebook whenever you plan on swinging through Downer's Grove and we'll sesh.

  • You guys are really good. you guys should try getting sponsord.

  • Already done, we ride for LBL =D

  • i waaaant one! any idea how much these will be sellin for?

  • Stay tuned to Larry's website for more information on the Sally =)

  • woahh nicee

  • When is that going to be for sale!

  • Soon!

  • Danny C always has to eat it harder than anyone else..... keep fighting off roadrash and mailboxes buddy. =)

  • haha, the mailman strikes again.

  • Damn, Longboard Larry just completely beat Loaded at the whole "Bamboo Flexcarve Board With a Buttload of Camber" game.

  • We haven't ridden the Ceviche, but the Salamander is barrel of monkeys style fun and durable as all get out.

  • how long is the salamander ?

what is the wheel base ?

    2:07 ouch

    when animals attack !

  • 35in

  • werd.

  • you guys tear it up. come to lemont soon! i missed u guys last time u were here

  • We'll be back around soon, hopefully. Definitely before the good weather goes away.

  • looks like a really fun board im definatly considering getting me one

  • love it

  • as do i!!!!!
